I was working with a private finance company to cover the repairs, which made the process a little longer than usual, and we had to reschedule several times. After having my Jeep for 5 days and $1800.00 to fix a cracked radiator, I got stranded 4hrs from their shop for an overheating radiator. After another 4hrs of waiting for another tow truck and waiting at a different Big O I finally got back on the road. The 2nd Big O figured out the one in Redding didn't bleed all the air out. Costing me a half day of travel. I called the manager, Jay, about all the issues and he mentioned he'd look into some kind of compensation for wasting my day. Well 3 weeks later and still no response back. A few weeks ago, my front brakes were making a clicking sound. We had just hit the road in our camper van for an extended camping trip to the Pacific Northwest. We were traveling on vacation when we discovered a serious problem with our brakes. We arrived at Big O Tires at 5pm after being turned away by a local Honda dealership. Brady C said they could diagnose the problem first thing in the morning and kept the car locked inside the business overnight. Another employee even offered to drive us back to our RV. I must admit I was nervous dropping my car off at a business I've never dealt with (and had all our camping, cycling and kayak gear inside). I quickly consulted Yelp, checked the BBB rating, etc. I found it's family run for the past 35 years. The gentlemen at the front desk went above and beyond to find rebates for me so I can get the tires I wanted, not only did he find a rebate but he beat everybody else by like 200 bucks and I got great tires amazing service and they had my truck done before they said they would, it was an awesome experience and I would definitely recommend Big O Tires. this is one of the worst experiences i've had with big o. first off i go in and they have the wrong tires installed on my rims and i let them know so they can change those out and then i realized that they charged me more money than they were supposed to and did not honor my price match guarantee or military discount. then i get my rims back to find out they were totally marred up. the owner (jay edwards) wanted to buff it out but as you can tell by the pictures it's scratched to the metal of the rims. they then proceeded to give me a hard time about everything when it was their fault! i asked for a discount on the tires after they destroyed my rims in which they refuse and told me that they made everything right by taking my rims and getting them touched up painted. (in which case i still have my rims they never touched them up.) they can keep their tires i will never do business with them again and i am working with corporate right now to get this resolved. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR AN ALIGNMENT!! I brought my vehicle in for an alignment 11/13/23 and they did whatever they felt like doing. did not listen to the instructions given and ended up destroying some of my suspension parts. when I had brought the issue up I had Dusty try and make things right, but they honestly cant go back from the damage they've already done. I was charged 200$ for an alignment, and then 100$ for another one. In the end, they screwed up my alignment, suspension components, and didn't even offer a refund. I will never return. I took my vehicle in for an alignment last month. I take pride in my vehicle and I spend a lot of time and money keeping it clean. After getting my alignment here my really expensive and really hard to replace wheels were chipped and scratched. They're forged steel wheels that sell for $1000 each. I would never take my car back here. I am so mad I didn't give it a better look over before leaving. I mentioned this to my father and he said he had the same experience leaving with chipped and scratched wheels. So I guess if you don't care about how your car looks and you need an alignment, this is your place. I will say I am super disappointed because they have great reviews online and the staff was super nice and friendly. I just didn't expect to leave with my car damaged. read more

After 5 days camping with my sons and dog I was on my way home, and with 2 1/2 hours to go as I was trying to merge on the freeway the car on front of me lost a tie down strap of some sort and the sharp part went straight into my tire. This store really helped me out. I recently had 4 new tires installed at a Big O in Southern California. I drove around my city on the new tires for 4 days without any issues. On day one of a three day drive to Seattle, I started noticing a vibration in the stearing wheel and my feet as I cruised at highway speeds. I tried to have a Big O in Sacramento look into the issue but the wait was 3-4 hrs. I then called the store in Redding, CA, explained my problem and they just asked that I get the car to them by 5pm. I arrived at 4:45 pm. They immediately checked the balance on all four tires. All tires were out of balance; one by as much as six ounces. It was a quick stop for a quick repair and we were able to continue our journey North. The vibration is gone and now I can concentrate on safely driving through the bad weather.
