I needed some tires for my 2015 Acura so I shopped around....looking for some American made tires....Goodyear tires made in Ohio!! Called and spoke to John , very helpful!! John assured me he would price match and get me the tires by the next day!! By getting a Big O credit card and with the Goodyear rebate, I qualified for a $150 rebate!!! I was in the next day at appointed time 10:00 and was in and out within the hour------during that hour I was observant of all the employees at Big O moving at a brisk pace----actually hustling , and with great attitudes and friendly smiles!! I will have Big O not only rotate my tires in the future, but have them change my oil...in all 3 cars! This was my second time coming to this tire store, first time was to repair a flat, this time was to purchase 4 new tires. I had done my research and found the best priced and longest mileage warranty on a new set of tires for my car at this Big O location. When I called in advance to see if they had a set in my cars size in stock I was surprised to hear that they did and they could fit me in for an appointment the same afternoon! The customer service here was astonishing! About a year ago, someone sabotaged one of my tires, and Big O was able to get a tire and shave the tread down so it matched my other tires, and saved me from having to purchase all new tires. This week my tire pressure light came on, and we checked the tire pressure and everything seemed fine. I called John and we scheduled an appointment. I was taken to work in their shuttle, and picked up promptly when I needed to be which was really awesome. John fixed the issue and was so kind and accommodating, and went above and beyond! All of the staff there was so friendly, and ready to help. You do not find this type of attitude in many businesses anymore, so kudos to the management! read more

I have one tire that keeps losing air. Turns out it's an issue with the seal between the tire and the rim. The rim is corroded. Not my fault. Not Big O's fault. They just sold us the tires. So the associate said he could fix it for me if I wanted to hang out for a little while. Okay, I'm tired of coming in here every 2 weeks to have that tire filled up anyhow. Well, truthfully, that took longer than it should have. Then he he says, hey, it's been a while since your tires were rotated. Let's do that too. So I, in my infinite stupidity, say, okay! Three hours later, I'm crying because I'm in so much pain from my arthritis and my pills are at home, and my car still isn't done. Well, I guess the next time I need tires, I know where I'm NOT buying them! And if I need new rims, I know where I'm NOT buying them! I would rather pay someone the little bit it costs to rotate my tires, than sit there and suffer for 3 hours! That was totally ridiculous and uncalled for! I'm very disappointed in the service offered by Dusty. I called to see the waiting time on an oil change as I'm in town visiting family and they needed help paying for the service and I'm leaving at 5 AM. It was 3:00 and Dusty said because they close at 5:00 they wouldn't do it today and that "most of our services are don by appointment only". read more

It was 114 degrees (in the shade) we had 4 car loads of family following us in route to lake shasta for a family vaca ... they fixed our tires got us in an out ... quick !!!! Oh my god, i have never seen this bad of attention to details. On my trip to Oregon i have to stop at this place (my bad luck) to get the wheel balancing. They were so fast in getting it fixed that they never realized that 2 of my wheel spacers are missing. How they got missing is a different story (Don tires of Berkeley) in short. I don't want to give them 1 star as missing spacers is not their fault but for not noticing it shows their inexperience and lack of attention to details. read more

Came in for a oil change n it took me about an hour n a half and to tell me they don't have the oil filter while I need it for work.

I called to confirm that they could fit a specific tire on to a specific rim, the kid obviously knew nothing of tire sizes and immediately said oh yea no problem. I went down to get said work done, confirmed with a older employee that theyd be able to manage that. After giving them my car and keys and waiting for 2 hours, they came back to tell me they cant and will not put the tire on for me. About a hour after getting my car out of their shop with "no work" done to it... My entire wheel, and axle flew out of my car... i skidded on the ground about 150 feet... Luckily im safe, but i cant help but think it was something their shop did to my vehicle.. I do not reccomend these joke of wheel tires guys to anyone. They lack experience and knowledge.. That being said... my car is destroyed and nothing i can do about it.. they may have or may have not tampered with it.. although it was the side i needed replaced.... 0 stars... read more

I have had several great experiences here. The staff is knowledgable and friendly. The only thing they could work on is timeliness, sometimes I've had to wait for a long time to get my work done (maybe an hour or two, so really not that long). Big O Tires has my business for life and I don't even live in Redding anymore. The guys that work here are so unbelievably polite and respectful and unlike the vibe that you get from a lot of auto shops, they seem genuine and not like they are trying to rip you off. I get my oil changed and tires rotated regularly here and even drive up from Sacramento just so I can take my car here when I'm having an issue. They always remember my name and are friendly and the service is usually very fast. One great thing I noticed at my last visit is that they have free wifi for while you're waiting, which was nice. I came out of my hotel on a road trip and had a flat. I drove the truck over to Big-O tires which was right around the corner. I got there at 6:00 am and unfortunately they did not open until 8:00 so I decided to throw on my spare and head on down the road. I had a big problem with the OEM jack in my truck and was unable to get the axle high enough to put the spare on. At about 7:30 Ken the mechanic showed up and asked how I was doing. After explaining my predicament, He graciously offered a floor jack and a few blocks of wood for me to use. After 5 minutes I had the spare on and was heading down the road. 7 months ago I went to get my steering aligned and it was worse a few days later. They fixed it though when I brought it back. 7 months later (today) it turns out my tires were misaligned and wearing unevenly so I had to buy new front tires. I was 1 month over the limit where Big O would align them for free cause I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars for the 1-3 year alignment packages. I took my car in to Big O to get the alignment checked today and it was "slightly" misaligned. After pulling off the lot I swear my alignment got worse, now it pulls way to the left. It's like they intentionally made it worse so I'd have to pay for another alignment from them. I could be wrong but I definitely want to go somewhere else, there's been too many weird things that happen after I go to this place. If this is their fault then they're costing me read more

We had asked for the same kind of tires thinking we would save money, but he informed us the size (I can't remember but it was three digits) were more expensive and then I remembered the tires were over 5 year old, so we went with his cost savings suggestion. Today I visited Big O tire, Redding to price out new wheels and tires for my truck. When I arrived in the office, I saw 3 sales employees working with customers. Not being in a hurry, I viewed the displayed wheels and tires. I spent approximately 20 minutes looking. I was never contacted or did any sales person greet me, tell me it will be a few to serve me. This location has been servicing all of my cars since I first started driving! We've got history! Even after all the years, new or old staff employees are very friendly and professional. Had a good experience there today! Was told I needed an alignment and camber kits from a dealership, and when I went to have the parts installed they declined the work due to two bald tires that I was unaware of. I needed to be safe, up and running in a hurry and it was 2:30 in the afternoon. I called big o just to see if the tires were in stock after another tire shop told me no on the tires and had no time for alignment or cambers either. Anyways, I called for a quote for everything I needed, plus I wanted a ride home on top of my requests. John said yes to everything, found me tires and prices that I thought were fair, got me home, had me up and running within a few hours. I was pretty happy , and when I arrived then they informed me the camber kits were not needed, it was a different issue, which they corrected, knocked that money off the quote, and got me outta there. Little more expensive then costco but then again costco never bothered to order my BFG AT. Jon did then called me and bam I went down with an appointment and they got it done. They also saved my ass by finding out my battery was loosely connected. Bad idea on a larger 4x4 I would have lost control on buckhorn with out Power steering = DEATH. Going back for a second set for my 59 VW bus. My BFG tires were also fresh 7-5-2018 not some flat heat ruined ones. BRAND NEW BFG =FTW! read more
