Make an appointment online first!!! I am not sure why I didn't figure this out earlier. I go there often in my company vehicle. My most recent visit was because I needed new tires. It was a holiday weekend and a Sunday so I wasn't sure if they were even open. I went online and I saw they had appointments available. I made my appointment and within a few hours I had new tires on my car. Easy peasy! These guys are great! read more

Last week I got a screw in my tire and it was just about flat during the first snow of the season. When I arrived at the shop it was very busy and I was informed it would be a 3-4 hour wait before they could get to my car. I didn't want to wait to make an appointment for the next day so the shop told me I could come in but it might be a couple of hour wait. That's what I did. They were upfront about how long it might take. They kept me updated on my place in line. The tire was fixed that day in the time frame they estimated. Second trip here. No more. The first time here, my wife's new car with run-flats had one low tire. They wouldn't touch it because they said once the run-flats go low, they need to be replaced. What? Discount Tire fixed it quickly with no issues and no charge. As long as the speeds were kept under 50mph run-flats can be fixed. This time, I made an appointment on a Sunday (everyone else was closed) to fix a slow leak on my RV tire. No damage to the tire and I suspect a leaky valve stem. Again they wouldn't touch it because the tire was 5 years old. But hey, more than willing to sell me new tires! Big O tires fixed a slow-leak tire with no charge. Yup, no charge. I thought they were kidding, but they were not and are not kidding about fixing flat tires for free. The staff completed the work in a matter of minutes. This staff has done previous work on our vehicle's tires (change from winter to summer tires). they have always been upfront with me and have completed tire maintenance with few issues. I found a roofing nail embedded in my left rear tire. The nearest shop to my home is Big O Tire on Indiana St in Arvada. There were folks waiting in the lobby so I assumed it would be a long wait, which was OK since I just showed up. After about a half hour the guy at the desk called my name and told me the tire was repaired and the BEST part there was NO charge. Where do you ever find any free service today?? Exceptional experience with these guys. I have a Jeep Wrangler with a 100K miles and had been having an issue with it shaking when it got above 55 mph. I had taken to a dealer and it still shook. Was planning to retire the Jeep in the next year or so and only use it for local drives. I took it to Big O in Arvada for new tires and during the install they also found some other issues to address. The end result was an overhaul that solved the problems I was having with it and the Jeep runs perfectly now. The right rear tire had a screw in it, which they removed, repaired & patched within an hour. They didn't charge us for the repair, although we did leave a tip. We've always had good experiences with this Big O, including a tire purchase last September & several previous leak repairs over the years. Went to Big O tires in Arvada, CO today for a slow leak. Jeff took excellent care of me. Imagine my surprise when they removed a large screw from my tire, fixed it and DIDnt charge me. I had asked them to assess my tread and Jeff told me I probably have over a year left before I need to replace my tires. They also looked at my brakes and gave me similar good news. This kind of honest service for sure guaranteed that when I need brakes or tires I'll happily give Big O my business. They've earned themselves a new customer. -Verify your quote before paying to make certain warranties you didn't ask for weren't added to your final invoice. -Verify the equipment they need to perform the service is functioning prior to arrival. -Verify the work quoted was performed before paying. For an alignment, request the alignment report before paying. Just had the Big O Tires at 6510 Indiana St replace a set of 4 tires on my truck. I was originally quoted $1,200 for the tires, install, TPMS and alignment. When I arrived to drop off the truck, the bill was suddenly $130 more. Why? Someone tacked on a warranty without permission. I asked to remove and Justin H. did. Three hours later Justin calls to let me know the truck is ready to go. Upon arrival, I ask for the alignment report. Oh wait, the alignment machine is broken and no service was provided. Hmmm. No charge for that, sir. Thanks! I'm told to come on back in a few days for the alignment and they will give me the three year unlimited alignments for the price of one alignment. I guess that works; that will be my 3rd trip to the store (actually turns out to be my 4th & would have been 5th...see below), but I'm willing to work with them. Couple of hours later get a call from them that I need to return the truck immediately because they failed to put a lug nut on each wheel. I go look and sure enough each wheel is missing a nut!! WTF. They call again to ask if I can stop at a part store and pick up some lug nuts. Return on the following Tuesday, and they can't get the truck on the alignment rack for a few hours. I'm done with it as I'm not coming back a 5th time to get this service wrapped. I end up taking the truck to the new Les Schwab in Candela's for the alignment and double check the work Big O performed. I bought the three year unlimited alignments from this Big O for my wife's vehicle back in May 2021 when we switched out snow tires, but we will not be returning to this location again, nor will be bringing the other vehicle we have or the trailer for service or tires. read more

HORRIBLE ! Had an appointment to get new tires put on. Sat there for 2 hours - they never came out to say - hey were way behind. So many pissed off people in there . They didn't even touch my truck . Came back in Fri morning and they couldn't get the tires changed out ( even though they said to come at 7am) drove over to discount tire and they did it in 1.5 hours . Went into the store about 9:00 am on Wednesday the 24th with a slow leak in a tire. Waited in the lobby about 5 minutes before anyone came in to talk to me. When the man came in to the lobby he was clearly annoyed by my presence. He sarcastically asked me if I needed help. I explained that i needed a tire repaired that had a slow leak. He asked me if I had an appointment to which I replied no. He then told me that the next available appointment was on December 3rd, 10 days away. 10 days wait to get a tire repaired that is going flat is ridiculous. Don't trust! My daughter took her car for a tire repair after hitting a curb. They said wheel was damaged. This is fine, replace it. They tell her that the wheel, shipping and install will be $640 plus the tire. It took me 30 seconds on my phone to find this same wheel for $140. Really sketchy way to treat you and inexperienced customers. I called them and told them not to do the work and picked up the car for her. Really disappointed in these people. Will NEVER go back. BTW - They also did something similar a few years back with my wife in trying to charge my wife for work she didn't ask for. I went down in this instance also and they then dropped the charges. I really looks like they are trying to take advantage of people who aren't experience with car repairs. There is definitely a pattern. read more

Amazing 1st experience at this Big O location! Called at 1pm for a brake job, alignment and tire rotation. Jesse told me to bring it down and they would get it in right away. Dropped the car off at 130pm. Received a phone call 10 min later explaining all that was wrong and providing a quote. Within 2 hours the car was done and ready to go! Amazing turnaround time! Poor service. Avoid this place. I have learned after several visits: Once they repaired a front end problem but the part was bad and they refused to give me a refund. I took store credit - which was offered begrudgingly - and bought tires that were expensive, but wore out quickly. They offer to rotate your tires if you buy them there, but you have to wait several hours for the simple rotation. I was surprised at their attitude when I had problems with a bad repair; it was as if I was in the wrong somehow. Also, they put nitrogen in my new tires, but no longer had it when I came to get the tires checked. I will never spend another penny there again. read more

Then could not get me an appointment to put them on until an additional week. Had an appointment today. Arrived at my appointment only to be told they could not install my tires today. Now 3 weeks later they have my $$ and I still have no tires. Very POOR service! read more
