Got my order completely wrong after asking me 3 questions about what I wanted exactly and several was very rude and inpatient.

I had the chicken teriyaki plate!! Chefs kiss, this was by far the best teri chicken I've had across all the islands! This was BUSSIN! Tender and very juicy! The green onions on top paired really well. They also added some rice underneath the chicken which was so good bc it had absorbed the teri chicken juice. Deffff 10/10 My husband had the grumpy paniolo. Let's just say he finished his burger in 4 bites or so and was done eating everything within 10 minutes. Inhaled his food. Went into Hanalei for a little cheeseburger in paradise. This was the best greasy burger that stomped my hunger and filled my tastebuds with succulent beef. The perfect amount of grease was cooked with. There is no beer or alcoholic drinks, but just across the way, there is Hanalei liquor, that sells single cans and you can sit on the patio and drink. Slightly expensive, but overall a phenomenal experience and everything I wanted. read more

My husband ordered the bacon and blue cheese burger and it was truly amazing! Juicy packed with flavor!! The French fries were nice and crisp and delicious! I shared the short rib plate with my 8 year old daughter and we loved it! The potato Mac salad was the best I have had on this island! The short ribs were a delectable delight! I would highly recommend this sweet little spot! The lady that took our order was so nice and sweet! She gave my daughter a frozen treat and she loved it! Truly nice people here! Food truck that serves burgers only. Fries were good, meat was good, bun was good, but it was dry - no goop or catsups etc. they have catsup in small packets. Service was slow mostly because they make it while you wait and they were very busy (Wed at 1 ish). We were looking for something a little off the beaten path and more "authentic" than what was in Kilauea town. We found this on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! Big Nicks in just off the road in the grass area adjacent to the school. They were so friendly and everything we ate was delicious. The crowd was about 70% locals and 30% tourists. Only 3 picnic tables to eat at but a lot of the patrons were getting their food to go. The burgers were excellent and cooked to order and came with plenty of fries. The Local Boy plate had some beef, chicken and shrimp plus rice and potato salad. All of it was hot and super tasty. If you're looking for ambience or a great view this isn't your place. This food truck is only ~12 minutes from Princeville and a great lunch option. The chicken plate I had was good and filling. It took a surprisingly long time to get our food as I believe it's the local spot for construction workers, so I would budget a ~20 minute wait time. read more

Our family was quiet as the are which means there was NO COMPLAINING!!!!! Everyone loved each of the dishes. Hubby and teen loved the burgers. Delicious! There are fold out tables in the shade. Lots of locals eating here so you know it's good! We ordered chicken strips for the kids which they loved. We ate a burger and a chicken sandwich which were both tasty. The made-in-house peri peri sauce was spicy and amazing. We also tried the chili pepper chicken plate - there's a reason why this is a favorite. The potato Mac salad didn't have too much mayo which we appreciated. Definitely recommend! read more
