After looking around, I think they've done it. For essentials and things you didn't know you needed until you see it here, this place has got it covered. The name of this store sums it up -- a lot of dollar items and dollar or more-plus things, but none were over-priced compared to comparable places. The last thing asked as I left the store was if I was looking for anything in particular, because he'd order it. Everyone who came in was offered a basket for shopping and if they needed it, assistance in finding something. If it wasn't here, he said he'd order it and for that person to come back next week. I tried to be optimistic that I'd find something in my size for the sale prices advertised and since I need a wide shoe, which are not always easy to come by. Well was I ever pleasantly surprised!! I got two pairs of Keds for $20 each and two pairs of Ryka, one for $19.49 and the other for just $6.00!! That's four pairs of shoes for $70.24 including tax. I am glad I did, as Cat Angels Thrift Store is the perfect local thrift spot. I am forever looking for lowkey, under the radar-type thrift shops, and this one fits the bill. The space is quite small and well-organized. There are racks of clothing along the walls and a shoe cubby. I really appreciate how neat everything was, and how the clothing was reliably sorted by size. It made the browsing experience really enjoyable. There were lots of unique pieces and good materials. I ended up snagging a pair of Sam Edelman boots for under $20, and they were in great condition. There is a stamp card available as well! You get a stamp for each shopping trip over $20. Once you fill the card, you get $$ off your next purchase (I forget the amount off the top of my head). I am glad that money goes towards a no-kill cat shelter, and will definitely shop/donate here going forward.
