Generally the people are very nice, and if you don't have a pharmacy, or if you go to Walgreens or cvs stand alone where the line is like 45 minutes long, come here. They are not only super nice , but if you r script is not ready, do you're regular shopping and come back. Been using the for years, an have only ever waited a minute or so to pick up meds, unless it wasn't ready yet, then I just walk around and come back. They awesomely nice. A friend and I went to Target and decided to get coffee at their Starbucks when a gentlemen tried to return an item that he said was defective. The clerk told him he couldn't return it as he didn't have the package. He did have the receipt. He asked to see a manager. The clerk ignored him and started laughing at him. He demanded more loudly to see a manager. Finally about 3 more employees showed up and would not assist him. They told him that they had the right to deny any return. By then, the shouting had gone on for at least 15 minutes. My friend and I walked up to the manager and told him that this wasn't very good public relations and he replied that they needed to teach this man a lesson. Really?! At this point we decided not to purchase anything from Target nor will we ever go back to this store. read more

I absolutely love coming to target in general, however; the one in Parkside Cary, NC is actually one of my faves. The store is clean, the shelves are organized and has lots of new items to checkout while I charge up at the nearby supercharger. We went in really quickly for a few items. The staff I dealt with wasn't overly friendly. They just did their job, but didn't go above or beyond. It was easy to find what I was looking for. I only needed to go to a few aisles before checking out. The prices weren't ridiculous, but they weren't the lowest. I simply didn't feel like going to Walmart. When I went to check out, the card reader wasn't working with my chip. The cashier said it had been doing that all day. So, finally, the machine allowed me to just swipe my card. Due to Covid, there is nowhere to sit. If you're getting hot food at the Pizza Hut or Starbucks areas, you must get it and leave if you want to enjoy it. I expected more from this location. The store was a mess. Items on the floor in every department. 3 registers open. No self checkout. The Starbucks is even terrible. They had groups of teenagers hanging out, being loud, walking around the store. Simply a teenage playground. The best part was the cashier. She was so pleasant & sweet. I wish her name was on the receipt. She deserves KUDOS!!! She was working the register that does returns and checkout, on 1-15-23 around 6:35 pm. She made me smile. My daughter & discussed her lovely demeanor & how nice she was. Great small talk while she still worked in a timely manner. read more

This Target location is relatively clean and mostly organized. I found everything I was looking for without an issue. This location had a few aisles that reminded me of Walmart with all the stocking going on. I'm not used to seeing this is Target. I was not acknowledged or spoken to throughout my entire shopping experience here. Lack of acknowledgment and Hellos isn't standard for Targets but maybe today was an off day. When I say no interaction, absolutely none, I love Target, and I'd love to see more pleasantries and welcoming experiences when I'm shopping/checking out. So many reps around stocking and have personal conversations but can't say "HI" to a customer?! Do better! The wait for check-out was a bit excessive. Self-checkout would be helpful at this location. I prefer to check myself out to bag my merchandise with care because the rep's concern is only to get you out of the line, and cashiers don't pay close attention to ensure they double bag heavy items that will not hold in just one bag. I'm not sure what the issue is with bagging paper towels and tissue, but I prefer a bag. I don't plan to carry things out of my car into my home without being in a bag. This is concerning, especially for customers in apartments. Minor things that can be requested but shouldn't have to be on request only. *Update 1:32pm about an hour after leaving. I am finally home and unpacked my groceries and the Honey Mustard I purchased is not in any of my bags. I can not reach anyone to question this. I've called several times. What the heck has Target done to its customers service. I went into this Target yesterday for a return and to purchase other items. There is no longer a customer service desk, you now have to go to a register. The register that dealt with customer service had a line 20 people long. The lady at the customer service register called for help five times while I was in line, nobody came. After returning my items, I decided not to purchase anything, because then I would have to stand in this line again. I went to the Target at Crossroads in Cary, NC and the line was 30 people long. I'm a target girl, I got to target at least 4 days a week. The Cary, NC location was the nastiest location I've every been to. I went at 8am and it was filthy, no organization at all. The only reason I went there was as because the app said it had an item I was looking for. I went to the women's clothing department and they had a cheese grader on the floor, a bag of chips. Target makes it easy to shop and this one is no different. Bright lights, wide aisles, highly organized merchandise on well-stocked shelves. I got smiles and acknowledgement from the associates who made eye contact as well. Menswear area was tidy and neat with no extra stuff not folded on display. Sizes were a little limited at the upper range. This is a super Target but it isn't a SuperTarget. It does have quite a lot of grocery items including many dry goods, wine and beer. Even some produce and meats, but it's not the same as the SuperTarget format that have a large produce and meat department. Though you can still do a great shop here. read more

Nice new Target in the new Parkside Town Commons off Hwy. 55 and O'Kelly Chapel Road that's clean and has very friendly customer service conscious employees. This is not a Super Target, but still has a fairly decent food section, even a little frozen and fresh food and produce departments, but nothing full scale like the "Super" has. Don't know if many people are aware this is here and/or that it's open, but shopping is a breeze right now! read more

I LOVE Target. Especially trips to Target ALONE. I appreciate having a number of Target locations near me because if one doesn't have a product, one of the others is bound to. This one is in a nice plaza with Harris Teeter. Did you know Target price matches? I just discovered this! Also, be sure to check out prices ONLINE because often times they are cheaper than in store prices... and they will price match the online price! I ALWAYS love to check out the clearance racks. So much fun! I always seem to leave with $200 more in stuff I didn't plan to get. I don't tend to buy too many groceries at Target, as I feel the prices are a little higher than other places BUT when they are on sale, I will. Cartwheel helps too. I like the local team section they have right inside the doors. We are huge Canes fans and Wolfpack too! Love having so many options to show our team support! The staff is generally friendly. My most recent trip I had a great experience at the customer service desk. (Box of diapers were listed $28.99 on the shelf but online They were $21.99... needless to say, the diapers WERE in fact $21.99... the shelf sticker was incorrect). Anyways, I wasn't expecting the lady to then check me out BUT SHE DID! Another instance is when I had one of those double kid carts... I made it out to my car when the seat part unhooked from the cart. There was a group of employees out by their cars (off the clock) and they still helped me! Very nice customer service! read more

Live in Apex, but had to go to this Target to pick up something that was out of stock at my local store. What a mess. The entire store looks like it was just hit by a hurricane. I must just be spoiled by the Apex Target, but I will not be back to this place if I don't have to. read more

The store layout and merchandise is pretty standard. The customer service is lacking though. Gangs of unruly teenagers ran about the store, tossing merchandise around, swearing loudly, and otherwise harassing customers. The staff members failed to address this behavior or otherwise safeguard their customers. One reason could be that the staff was as bad or worse than the hoodlums. As I shopped, I heard two young employees (one male, one female) talking about how they intentionally back into cars and then claim to have been rear ended in order to extort money from their victims. So, bottom line, watch your back (and your car) if you go to this Target. read more

If I could do 0 stars I would. If you need to call them for anything don't bother. No one picks up the phone. I was on the phone for 30 minutes it would ring and ring and hang up. I pressed the print for customer service and for pick up orders and it hangs up. I pressed for apparel and it rings and rings. Pressed for electronics and rings and rings. I called the pharmacy and she refused to flag down a team member. They have a sing that says they're hiring yet I know 5 people that have applied and never received a call back. read more

But they usually are fully stocked with all contact lenses supplies at a reasonable price. Needs more cashiers. I want to like this target. It is new, clean, and big. However, the customer service is lacking after several visits. The electronics section employees often seem clueless about product questions and sometimes are impossible to flag down since they're having personal phone calls or listening to music. Going to guest services to exchange my Soda stream tank or pick up online orders is often difficult because the checkout line there is really long. They desperately need more checkout lines open even on off times. Would not do an online order here or try to get someone to help you find something. read more

Slowest checkouts every time I come to this target. Cashiers are always understaffed and no one responds to back up. Employees walk by and dodge jumping behind a register when there are 7-8 people irritated waiting in line. Otherwise store is clean and easy to find things quickly. read more

I have no complain about Target, but yesterday I went with my daughter for the ride while she shopped at Target, and she asked me to wait in STARBUCK COFFEE SHOP and have a Snack, while she bought a few purchases from TARGET Store, of which she is a member. When I approached STARBUCK, the Stench was awful from two elderly black handicapped people - ( a woman with ctutches in a Target Motor Cart, and a trembling black man with soiled clothing and a bad odor from sores on his hands - touching all the napkins, etc. and occupying 6 chairs, and two tables with their dirty bags). Someone must have brought them to STARBUCK, for a purpose - as one customer, after another left the store without going to the counter after passing them.. The female employee in turn, was speechless as I told her how I felt. I am an immigrant and citizen by choice, having studied and lived in the U.S. most of my life, and I love America more than president Trump. Please convey this message to STARBUCK and Management for what it is worth, because whereeveer their is an EFFECT - there is a CAUSE... (Alias - Lobo Hermano). read more

They are routinely out of things and there never seems to be enough cashiers available. It's great in a pinch, but I've had to shop the larger Targets on a number of occasions to find things they were out of. read more

BRAND NEW Target!!!! A++++++++ This Target is sooooo clean and pretty. So brand new the store doesn't have a Yelp page! I found this Target, because the North Hills Raliegh Target was out of Windex and said this one had 51 units. Sweetness! Target is right next to my work place. Shelves are all fully stocked and great for coupon :) The shopping center is still under construction, so be aware of the workers and drive safely. Staff is super friendly and helpful. read more

Brand new target, but not that different from any other target. Since it's new the lines are a little shorter so it's nice to be able to check out quickly. Right next to a harris teeter which makes shopping convenient. There is a Starbucks inside and the layout is very similar to the south point target, which is nice. read more

Top quality Target store. I've been to Target mega stores before and this one is at the same scale/level as the big ones placed in metropolitan cities. Remember you have to access this store via the O'Kelly Chapel Road off of Hwy 55. First week I moved here, I went around to the other side of O'Kelly Chapel Road and realized the road was not finished it was a dead end. So until they connect the two O'Kelly Chapel roads together, access it via Hwy 55. It has a Starbucks, mobile store, and a small express restaurant inside. read more

A fairly new store that has developed a very customer orientated staff who are always ready and willing to be proactive in helping their customers. Highly qualified staff in the Verizon Center. Very polite and proactive cashiers, Very good frozen food department. The freshness of the produce leaves little to be desired. Like shopping at this Target due to less lines at checkout, very clean displays and excellent customer service. The manager believes in customer service first ...... I purchased 4 outdoor chairs. The manager helped me load the chairs into my small SUV. After putting two of the chairs together I noticed the last two chairs were broken. Since it was only 45 mins since I had left the store I phoned the manager to ask the best method to ensure faster customer service since no chairs were left in the store inventory. The manager and I worked out a deal that worked best for me. Thank you for putting customer service first!!!!!
