The store can feel cluttered but has great selection. I always go here for olive oil or salt and pepper because it is always cheaper here than in the store. I also love the teas they have. Nice furniture options too, but can be pricey compared to At Home. The staff is always nice and the lines are long but never take forever to get through.

I've been searching for some smaller pieces for my downsized abode and haven't been too enamored of one store, yet. That may change now that I've seen what Streets of London has available. SLA carries some beautiful Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, and early American furniture, some with the most exquisite carvings. They truly are works of art. There was a mirrored Victorian organ, a French mirrored armoire, and a 1940s era silk embroidered sofa, that I could not stop staring at. And for the sofa, I know I'd be sitting on the floor in front of it, admiring the detailing; probably defeating the purpose of having something that nice. There isn't just furniture here, either. For whatever period, there's art, lithographs, bed frames -- brass and wood, glass punch bowls, silver tureens, china, and tea services. One silver tea service was the type with the pot on a hinged device where it could be tipped for pouring without having to be picked up. That was the first time I've seen one of those up close. Although I was completely stunned at how many gorgeous pieces I saw, most of them were far too big for my available space. That's where the owner, Gill, came to my rescue. She told me the smaller pieces were always the first to be sold, but she was expecting another shipment later this year. As she's trying to sell down her inventory in advance of the new shipment, she tempted me sorely by telling me she may be willing to deal on some of the existing inventory. I now have a reason to go back besides just for a visual treat in the genre of wood. Until then, if there's any way I can make that organ or sofa fit . . . where did I put that measuring tape and yardstick. . . .

The women in the showroom were very knowledgeable & made the purchasing process seamless. The color couch we wanted was not something that was in stock & was going to take 6-8 weeks to be delivered, which we were fine with. They had plenty of other options that could have been delivered sooner but this was the one we really wanted. They had everything delivered to us within the given time frame! The gentlemen who delivered the couch were professional & efficient. It had been raining on the day of delivery so the ground was wet, but they got the couches in our back door and not a spot on them. Very reasonably priced furniture & a great team to assist you! We will definitely be stopping here first for any future furniture needs.

I've literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars updating a variety of homes, beach condos, etc. Love the variety of high-quality products, love the pricing, but one thing that is a HUGE pet peeve of mine (that I always! complain about when I'm at the store) is where they put the almost impossible to remove price stickers. Candles-smack on the side of the jar instead of on the bottom. Platters, glassware, the list goes on and on. Here's a picture of a platter I recently bought for Christmas that I ended up bagging using because I didn't have enough time to deal with the sticker. Tonight, I'm having a dinner party so I decided to take it off. I have nail polish on, so can't use nail polish remover-and wanted to avoid having to soak this for hours, but I can't even get it off with a razor blade or a very sharp sharp knife. Ridiculous! Nobody's gonna be stealing things out of the store if the stickers are put in the bottom in an unobtruse location (where you're not having to deal with trying to remove it immediately unless you're giving it as a gift, almost killing or slicing yourself yourself in the process as-I did with this knife because it keeps slipping across the platter as I try to scrape the DAMN sticker off! Incredibly frustrating. I've given this feedback SO many times yet nothing ever changes, but it's probably because I'm giving it to the people ringing me out and they don't give a crap! This particular store is clean, not overcrowded (even in the holiday season) and has plenty of products. Rarely do I leave there without something in a bag! The wait was excruciating but knowing it was custom made, with the exact specifications (color/fabric) I requested, made the wait bearable. West Elm also offers free design service at their stores and the design professional helps map out your room with a 3D render that tells you how much space the furniture will take in your room - all of which is super handy when needing to know if a certain side table or a lamp will fit/ look right, before you commit. Also, if you sign up for their Key Rewards program, West Elm also gives you $25 credit on your birthday, no strings attached. Every year I go in to the store to redeem (though it can be used online), and pick up a birthday cup or utensil. This year, I found out that its also redeemable at their sister stores like William Sonoma, Pottery Barn, etc, which is quite handy, because you can certainly choose from a ton of items at William Sonoma in a jiffy.
