Had their food last night from their food truck at a rehearsal dinner and it was delicious so I knew I had come leave a review. They served around 20 people quickly and efficiently. The real standout item to me was the corned beef egg roll. This is the best one that I've ever had, the meat texture and it was fried perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Food is excellent. The daily specials are mouthwatering. Friendly owners are very nice. You really can't go wrong with whatever you choose to order. My favorites are the flatbread pizza, fried okra and wings. It smells wonderful when you walk in to pick up or place your order. read more

I went to Arts, Beats, and Eats in Royal Oak over the weekend. I had looked at the different food trucks and restaurants that would be in attendance before I went yesterday, just to plan out what I would try. In doing so, I looked up a few restaurants for reviews on Yelp, and ran across Big Bo's Grill. After reading reviews and looking at pictures, I knew that I would be visiting their food truck for the event! I went and to my surprise, where I parked at, was right at the entrance where the Big Bo's Grill food truck was located, so I was happy about that! I ordered the Corned Beef egg-rolls, and my family member ordered the Deep Fried Ribs. There was so much food, and everything was good! I definitely wouldn't mind taking a drive to Troy in the future to check out more food items! read more

The first time we went to this restaurant, the lady that was working in a restaurant was amazing. I ordered the okra amazing I also had the shrimp and I ordered all the eggrolls they had. Everything that I had was so good. The staff that was in there was so amazing. She had good music playing great conversation really enjoyed the time I spent waiting on my food. She broke the menu down explained everything. I wished I remembered her name because she was truly amazing. The food was amazing. I walked away from this restaurant thinking it should be called. I have seen people posting about this on Facebook and wanted to try it out. The chicken sandwich was really good. I ate about half (largely because my husband saw it and took the other half). The egg rolls were really good and I love that they change them daily so I look forward to trying another kind. Amazing food, friendly service, great value. This is a newer restaurant, primarily carry out. We stopped in and wanted to try a variety of things. We got 3 corned beef eggrolls that were on special, they were stuffed with tons of quality beef and came with a great house made honey mustard sauce. Also got the White Flatbread with shrimp, garlicky, delicious, lots of perfectly cooked shrimp on top. Fried okra was a HUGE portion for $4. Very good crispy okra with parmesan cheese. Lastly we got the chicken sandwich, i have never seen such a big piece of chicken. Delicious bun, good sauce. We will be back for sure! read more

The Manager China was excellent. You could see was on top of her game. Telling the co workers to clean tables and aware of straws running low, etc.... A manager anyone would want. She was slammed busy and even conducted an interview during a rush and everything was still smooth. Amazing. read more

I'm having to update a previous review that was far more positive. My experience today echos many others about the ability for the establishment to provide an accurate eta for completion of an order. No matter how simple or how small it is. Without PREPAYMENT, small orders will sit until you arrive and pay. "cooked to order" is the line......it's a bunch of hogwash actually. 45 minutes in, when I was told 20.....the food was lackluster. The chicken sandwich wasn't crunchy. It had a very unpleasant taste of whatever else had been prepared throughout the day in the fryer. While I appreciate the kind offer of a can of soda and the free fries.....for the delay (I don't drink soda and I dislike fries.....so it fell on flat as an offering to help) The meal ended up in the bin as I was hoping for a crunchy chicken sandwich as I had experienced previously. Given the bevy of other options available. I'll leave my place in line open for other gullible folks to make their own decision in the future. read more

A great experience. After reading nothing but stellar reviews, my husband and I gave Bo's a try. We will be back. I would love to try everything on the menu. Based on reviews, I had the corned beef egg rolls and my husband had the salmon grilled cheese. Do unique, fresh, delicious and very generous portions. The place is small but the food they put out is so very good. There are a couple of tables and some stools at a counter where you can dine in, if you choose. This place does a land office carry out business and everyone raved about their food. Highly recommend. Bo even took a few moments from behind the grill to come out and check to see if everyone was happy. They also have a food truck, so you can check that out. read more

I think this is pretty much my family's favorite place around. Great burgers, massive chicken sandwiches, great wings, a Cubano sandwich which is nearly perfect. Also, the eggrolls are absolutely unique and worth trying out. But the best part about Bo's is the short term stuff that may only be out for a day or weekend: Catfish platters, ribs, a texas burger, mac & cheese...it's worth following them on Facebook.
