3rd Street Detroit Cheesesteak and Regular Fries

One of my new favorite places! Very straightforward to order online. Items can sell out closer to closing time, and I have found out that it will update online as well which is nice. Pick up time has always been accurate despite how busy it can get. The restaurant is in a good location, not a busy street so easy to get to. Ample parking. A lot of seating inside that is under-utilized right now since it's colder out. I've only gotten taken out here and I have loved it every time. Portions are large! The fries are a whole tray/box of fries, and I love that they don't skimp out on the amount of food. Every item I've gotten (3rd Street Detroit Cheesesteak, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Garlic Cilantro Fries) have all been incredible. Most of the time, I can't finish the entire meal (especially if I order fries) in one sitting, so having leftovers is always great. I will definitely be back, and will probably try everything on the menu at least once. Staff is friendly and personable too.

    I-75 Chicken Shawarma

First time in and it did not disappoint. We ordered the I-75 chicken shawarma sandwich, chicken tenders, fries, and the Fisher Fwy. Fish (catfish), plus a strawberry lemonade. Portions were generous and everything was seasoned really well without being overpowering. The chicken tenders are officially picky-eater approved (which is saying a lot). The catfish was seasoned and cooked just right. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing and not overly sweet. Excellent customer service. The gentleman was friendly, personable, and welcoming. Bonus points for a very clean seating area and bathrooms--always appreciated! Overall, great food, great portions, and a comfortable place to eat. We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I went here for a lunch date. Very consistent experience. It does have a limited menu but whatever you get will be great! Only downside, be prepared to wait for your food. Comes out fresh and hot but it takes some time. Support a small business and give it a try.

Super yummy! We got the spicy chicken shawarma, fancy fries and cheese steak egg rolls w 4 excellent sauces! The jalapeño ketchup and garlic cilantro aioli are must haves! Glad I called ahead, they are popular. Outstanding.

If you're anywhere near Detroit and haven't tried Detroit 75 Kitchen, you're seriously missing out. I ordered the Detroit cheesesteak and a side of Cajun fries, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The cheesesteak was packed with flavor--perfectly seasoned meat, melted cheese, and just the right balance of toppings all on a fresh, soft roll. Every bite was hot, juicy, and clearly made with care. You can tell they don't cut corners here--this is high-quality food done right. The Cajun fries were just as impressive--crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and coated in a bold, well-balanced seasoning that had just the right kick without being overpowering. The portions were generous, and everything came out fresh and fast. On top of that, the service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. This place delivers on every level, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Went here for National Philly Cheesesteak Day and, while it wasn't traditional with the lettuce and vinegarette, it was yummy. The roasted jalapeño ketchup was also a must try. Recommend ordering online to pick up at the food truck.

The sandwich originated in Chicago, so I like that Matt & Mo's has a replica of Wrigley Field's ivy wall. On the flip side, I didn't like being charged a 4% fee for paying with a card. My wife ordered a pepperoni pizza puff along with French fries. The pizza puff fell apart too easily, and was basically a larger version of a Totino's pizza roll. The fries were standard. With my sandwich, I ordered poutine. The consistency and flavor of the gravy made the poutine much better than average. As for the Italian beef, it did not disappoint. I regret getting just sweet peppers, as I should have gotten either hot or mild peppers with the sweet. I did get the whole sandwich dipped in au jus, which was the right move. This was my first time having an Italian beef, so it's hard to judge, but I definitely enjoyed it. Next time, I will bring cash to pay, and might even try some of the other menu items. I look forward to trying Doug's Delight, as well.

I ordered the combo which is possibly the best sandwich I've ever had. Moist/well-seasoned beef, garlic bread with just right amount of garlic, italian sausage, and I added provolone as well. Everything meshed together perfectly.

I always say that my teachers are heroes without capes so the theme of this truck was so fitting. Every year, I try to do something extra special for my staff. This year, I booked the Hero Or Villain Food Truck. I was able to select 6 different sandwiches for my staff to choose from and options such as loaded fries & soft drinks. These sandwiches were the BOMB! Freshly made and grilled with such unique options: Blackfire (Steak, bacon, egg, mozz, grilled peppers, onion & drizzled with a spicy sriracha mayo), Thor (Turkey, bacon & Cheddar, mayo), Kingpen (Grilled Chicken, mozzarella & pesto aioli), Captain Planet (Marinated Mushrooms, Grilled Onions, Mozz, Red Pepper & pesto aioli), Deathstroke (Steak, grilled peppers, provolone, onion & mayo), Hawkeye (Turkey, swiss, sauerkraut, pickles, 1000 island dressing). These sandwiches were served on grilled sourdough, marble rye or a hoagie bun. My favorite was Thor but the Hawkeye was equally as delicious. I didn't have a chance to try all of them but everyone was raving about their sandwiches. The two ladies working the food truck were amazing. Serving up 50+ sandwiches in 1 1/2 hours was seamless. I've been told that this food truck travels all over the place. If you are lucky enough to try them, trust me, you will be in sandwich heaven! If you are booking an event, I highly recommend Hero or Villain Food Truck. Until next time, #catwoman

I also have tried their waffle fries are solid. I would love to try other varieties at their home base in Ferndale (which has more variety). But I highly recommend checking this place out.
