I've been to Kozy Lounge twice and enjoyed myself. The vibe is fun and the service is friendly. Love the dark wood paneling inside. Reminds me of childhood and being at my grandparents with the wood paneling everywhere lol. Drinks are very reasonable. Five dollars for a Tito and soda as well as the mini beer shots. Seems to be the norm too not just a happy hour special. We were there on a busy Saturday night and between watching the Tigers game, playing Keno, and listening to music we had a great time. Kitchen was busy serving burgers and fries. The fish sandwich looked pretty tasty as well. We didn't eat this time but everyone seemed to be ordering food which tells me it's probably good.

A neighborhood bar feel, with a small private lot. Located just off John R on 10, just south of 696. Inside is a clean, crowded, bar with 1970s wood paneling but in good repair. Sports TVs, comfy barstools. The staff was nice, good bar food menu, good burgers, small but good craft draft list. Good prices. Strongly recommend.

The food was delicious! My server was patient and very polite! I brought about 15 people with me to celebrate my birthday! Everyone had a nice time! Will definitely be back!!!!

Ok, so I've been here 2x prior, but tonight I wanted a burger. Not just any burger, but a shawarma burger. And this place did not disappoint. Lots of garlic from the sauce, and the seasoned burger was amazing! The tzatziki sauce was really good. My bartender was very helpful!! Got some great beer and tequila too!! Fun place to hang with friends, if I had any. Well, on to my next burger!

Unfortunately they we understaffed on Wednesday night, Slow incomplete attention from the server. I never stiff a server either, not her fault. Burger was not cooked as ordered. Old school ambiance was great reasonable pricing. Great shuffle board table.

It's National Burger Month and it has taken me 9 days into the celebration to finally get a hold of one and let me tell you, this is unacceptable. The one thing Tony Stark and I have in common outside of rugged good looks, billions of dollars and a genius level IQ is our mutual love of the American cheeseburger. Footnote: quite possibly only one thing in that list might be true. I have been coming to Kozy forever and a day. It was always one of my go to places for inexpensive drinks. Shockingly enough, I had never eaten here before but when I heard they had one of the best burgers in Michigan I had to revisit my old haunt to see what I've been missing out on all these years. Walked in and it didn't look like a thing had changed. It was awesome! Ordered the Kat Burger and a Coors Light. I swear it was the same old timers sitting next to me now as it was 30 years ago. Burger delivered and it looked fantastic. In my life I would never have thought to put honey on a burger, and in my life I have missed out on a lot. Wow what a sandwich. The honey mixed nicely with the jalapenos and bacon, plus the mixture of a little heat, sweet and salt was amazing. No wonder they won the burger battle. To top it off, a burger this good and a beer that ok was only $10. Where you going to find that kind of happiness for such an inexpensive price nowadays? No idea. Excited to check this off the list for burger spots and even more excited to come back again.

It was clean and well cared for inside. Super comfy environment and great people inside.

The perfect "dive bar" does exists! It's on 10 mile in Hazel Park, and it's called Kozy's. Great food, especially the Kozy burger and the tater tots, but I was surprised at how awesome the wraps were as well. Great beer specials, a friendly staff and atmosphere, and a super well maintained shuffle board table all make for the perfect place to hang out. We had a blast here, it wasn't loud or dirty inside, but it had that feeling like your favorite pair of worn in jeans. Can't wait to come back again!

A blast from the past, but a great place nonetheless. Friendly staff, cold beer, and good food. It's just a small place that offers good conversation and an eclectic crowd to enjoy. This place is hard to get into on the weekends, when everything is open. So I suggest a weekday afternoon a good burger and a cold beer.

Awesome place. Same setup as playoff sports bar and grill but with nice people instead of old angry geasers.

Heard about the award winning burger "The Kat Burger" in the Detroit Press and no doubt it's one on the best.

Walking in, the black and gold nuances strike you immediately and sitting at the bar, watching each drink being made is really quite fun. Their cocktail menu is absolutely spectacular. What a wide range of choices with all the major types of liquor available in one form or another. My bartender developed the program and she was super knowledgeable about it. I didn't try any of the food, so I can't comment on that, but for a pre or post dinner cocktail, I can definitely say this was an awesome spot to come out to.

As we followed our greeter to our table I kept screaming in my mind "no no no no no not that table no!" and she sat us at a table in full blasting sun. Nevermind the fact that there was a whole shaded section in the back part of the patio area. The rest of my group said it was fine and a beam of sun slowly bore a hole through my chest. Drink orders were up. I ordered a fabulous cross between a Moscow Mule and a Mojito. A+++ for the drinks. Mine was loaded with fresh mint from their garden. Same grade for our waitress who explained the drinks in detail and ended with "ugh- are you sure you want to sit at this table straight in the sun?" The other two said it was fine. I was ready to move, but was out voted. She continued to check in regularly and brought extra water. Most items on the menu were hot. I considered the fish, but we all landed on appetizers and we would just bounce from place to place for bites and drinks. We ordered the charcuterie board and the lavender lemon whip with bread and cucumbers for the 3 of us. The charcuterie board was the large version and had minimal offerings. It wasn't full and pretty. It was little piles of each thing on a board. This one definitely wasn't making it into Better Homes and Gardens magazine. There was a little pile of mixed nuts, a little pile of lose green grapes, a little pile of lose red grapes - not all grapes pristine or large and none were on the vine. There were 3 little piles of cubed cheese and 2 types of sliced sausage and sliced pepperoni. There were 8 crackers that were wheat thin size. This matters because we had some onion jam on the board and a nice serving of mustard. There really wasn't anything to put them on except for the 8 little crackers. That part was weird. These weren't elevated offerings. I could have picked up any of these at Walmart. They were not elevated quality either. We also got a lavender lemon infused whip which was their answer to tzatziki sauce. It was excellent but again, we were given so much of the sauce without a bunch to put it on. The cucumbers were sliced lengthways and there was a lovely bread that tasted like sourdough. There was 6 pieces of bread, and these were not particularly large pieces. A lot more would have been needed to use all of the sauce they gave. The proportions were off. All together the bill was over $100 for the 3 drinks and appetizers. If I ever did go back I won't order food based on what I experienced. There are too many other great options within walking distance.
