This place was packed for Harry Potter trivia on a Friday! The staff made room for us at the bar and we had the emperor milkshake slushee and Orin's blessing. Both were delicious. I appreciate the staff squeezing us in and being so attentive even with the crowd. They were also doing decent take home business while we were there, I'm so glad to see people supporting a local business.

I came here with a group for our monthly euchre get together, which means we reserve several tables for a few hours. They were very accommodating and gave us a corner all to ourselves with enough room for our group. I don't usually drink cider or mead, so I sampled a few until I settled on one I liked. It was the punk lemonade, I got the 10 oz size, and while I still didn't 'love' it, it was good enough to drink for the night. The interior is a bit stark, but it was fine for our gathering. No food, but they let you bring in your own, so we ordered pizza and some of us brought snacks to share. The waitstaff came around a lot to check on us, so points for that. The place was virtually empty though, except for us, so maybe that's why! We had fun posing with the Danny Devito cutout. Perhaps they should (or maybe they do) rotate celebrities every month. We always collect $5 from everyone to tip the waitstaff extra well, when we tried to give it to the staff they said they don't accept tips! So they said they would give it to a charity. Nice touch. I hope the staff is well compensated though.

We came here on a whim while waiting to pick up pizza elsewhere and ended up having a great time! We were the only ones inside for a little bit but the decor was so fun and eclectic and the music was good, we loved it and would go back for sure when we next go to Detroit!

We once a upon a time tried one of their bottles of mead from a bottle shop so I made plans to come here if we were ever in the Detroit area. I do not regret making our plans work so we were able to come here while they were open (Wed-Sun only). We came in the last hour before they closed one night and they still served us which was much appreciated after not finding places to eat as it was too late and most places have closed. While we couldn't find places to eat, we managed to make it here before they closed and had two flights. The bartender was very nice and knew the mead and ciders very well. She offered us tastes if we wanted, and has very good taste because I loved everything she recommended to us. In fact, we came back the day after to try the rest of the menu that wasn't part of the flights. They allow you to bring in food so we brought in two Detroit style pizzas to eat while drinking. We walked away with a howler, and 3-4 4 packs of various meads and ciders. Our favorites include, not in any particular order - Punk Lemonade Cider, New Wave Lemonade Mead, Slice of Life, The Dude's Rug.

A large menu of creative products spanning mead, cider, beer, smoothies, and more. The interior is comfortable for both groups and single people. I just wish they had an outdoor garden area.

Had an amazing time going to this meadery. The beers were sweet and delicious. They had a very large variety and also rotating beers per season. My friend and I got a fight and we tried multiple IPA's, stouts, and slushies! Service was great too! Loved the conversation with the bartender! It's a very local meadery. The meadery design was very wooden with seating in the bar, high tables, outdoor and lower tables . It is a more lived in place with an older charm.

We had a fundraiser for work here, and they were amazing to work with! Great drinks and great waitstaff. The owners are also very easy going and helpful. It's a must try if you like cider and mead.

Sadly I hadn't heard of this place until I recently bought a 4-pack at a local liquor store in Jackson. It happened to be a 4-pack of the Punk Lemonade. All things seemed to be aligning as I was planning on making a trip to Ferndale for something else and decided to add this place to the mix. All of the meads/ciders had nice flavors and of course I had some favorites. Flights seem to be the best way to go or rather get as many 5 ounces as you want to find what tickles your fancy. I wasn't a huge fan of the slushy's. The flavor profile didn't translate very well for me this route. You can get just 5 oz as well for those to see if like them. The atmosphere was chill and nice. Definitely worth checking out if you want to find some nice meads.

Mead mead mead meeeeeead! This place is pretty awesome. There was a total nerd vibe going on! Being from Seattle originally, it has that going for it. All of the drinks we sampled were fantastic. I even liked one with coconut. I HATE COCONUT! My wife was surprised at how much I liked it. Cyser of the Lambs is my favorite. I could drink a gallon of that. Thanks so much for being a new destination each time we come to Michigan.

Very chill and laid back atmosphere, kinda like hanging out and drinking in the basement of your coolest friend. And that's what the bartenders are like, your coolest friend. The flights here are exceptional because of the amazing variety and unique flavors offered. If your not a fan of mead or cider they usually have one beer on tap. I think the prices are very reasonable. Aside from the many selections on draft they also have crowlers and a small retail area to take bottles home. Some of the ciders that are aged in the burbon barrels have a pretty high abv so make sure to keep that in mind. I love this place and am thrilled that so many stores and restaurants now have B Nektar but really nothing beats going here to hang out for a while and trying a flight of their newest flavors!

Also, please know that since mead is actually honey wine, the mead pricing leans more toward wine pricing, rather than beer.

Walking in, the black and gold nuances strike you immediately and sitting at the bar, watching each drink being made is really quite fun. Their cocktail menu is absolutely spectacular. What a wide range of choices with all the major types of liquor available in one form or another. My bartender developed the program and she was super knowledgeable about it. I didn't try any of the food, so I can't comment on that, but for a pre or post dinner cocktail, I can definitely say this was an awesome spot to come out to.

Just one burger option and limited toppings. Server was very nice but didn't write down the order, and when it came my burger was missing the cheese and onion. I wasn't sure if they would take it back or what so I didn't eat anymore and it took her a decent amount of time to come and check on us after we got our food. I let her know what was missing and she said it was her fault and asked if I wanted it fixed. I said yeah and she went and got a cold piece of cheese and slice of onion and put it on a plate and gave to me to put on my own burger. I'd expected a little bit better service and I'm certainly not someone who demands top tier service from every spot. Fries were crispy but needed some parm or an aioli sauce to dip in. Also minor note but I had some fries left on my plate and when she came to collect plates I had food in my mouth so I couldn't say anything but she took the plate and my fries! They should always ask if there's any food left on the plate. Burger was decent overall, but definitely nothing special. Environment was cool and I'm sure they have got some other delicious items on the menu but for the price paid and service received, I'd go somewhere else next time.
