This year we have added their landscape service to our yard and unfortunately the results have not been great. We are now using a third. maybe 4th service agent as the turnover at Peservation Landscape Service. When we ask any question they immediately call their manager which is a bit concerning. It was a large tree with a very wide trunk, which was hollow at a part of it. The owner came out to look at it and talk to me about the removal. The crew showed up on time and knew what they were doing! Because there is not much space between homes, they had to use a crane to pick up the pieces of the tree and the crane to take these parts safely over our home. The equipment to grind the stump also had to be taken over the home. Safety was excellent, communication was excellent, value was good, and everyone was professional. I will use this company again. I highly recommend them!

One of their arborists came out and reviewed the tree and recommended removal and was beyond saving. I was sad to see it have to go, but it was going to be danger soon as the disease progressed. They even gave me recommendations on replacement trees that would be more hardy in the future. They made it out the same day to quote and cut it down. It took them about an hour to take down a 30 foot tall maple tree. They also ground down the stump. The area was cleaned up and the mulch spread out. I was very satisfied with their service and the crew. I've got their business card now in my fridge for future needs.

We did some research and had True Tree Masters come out to give us a bid. Steve, the owner I believe, came out. We liked him so much we didn't bother getting other quotes and hired them the next day. They were able to start the next day, which was great! The crew was early both days, and they are knowledgeable and careful in their work. Sometimes it is stressful hiring a company, because you always talk to one person at first, and you agree on all kinds of things, but the people doing the work don't always know all the things you needed done. Do not fear here: Steve was on-site both days to supervise and help out his crew! That was very nice to see! The workers did an amazing job and you can see they enjoy their work. We also very much appreciated that they take away all branches. They used a big wood chipper on site to chop up everything and take it away. That was a big deal for us as well and we were super happy for that! I wasn't happy with the service I received. JD tree service sent someone out to estimate trimming…read more4 big trees, and bracing one (lifting a limb to a support beam to allow improved garage access). The estimate was higher than I hoped, but I agreed. They did a basic tree trim, and did not complete the job as agreed, specifically bracing a the heavy limb. Further, they expected full payment. I paid, as life is too short to argue these things. If they didn't want to perform the limb brace work, they should have told at the time of estimate. These guys are probably fine for basic trimming, but be clear on what you're getting. I've switched to a tree service from East Dallas that seems more expert at handling big trees. They do cable and brace work, and the cost per tree, of trimming, was the same. No other complaints with the trimming, but no question they could have handled it better in so many ways. At a minimum they should back up their estimates, or reach you that day if they are in over their heads. I Won't be back.
