Wow! Really wish this place was around when I was a student. It's phenomenal! Bowls are a little pricey for a fast casual spot (about $15 after tax) but they're delicious and very filling. You can get a preset one or build your own, which I opted to do. I got purple rice and japchae as my bases, half bulgogi and half chicken, a bunch of veg toppings including daikon, kimchi, broccoli, etc, and gochujang sauce. Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned well. I particularly liked the japchae. It was a very large portion - I was starving but otherwise could have stretched it to two meals. Will go back!

Build Your Own Bowl. Base is half purple rice, half Japchae.

Bibimbap is a Korean rice bowl with toppings, and this spot is inspired by that concept. I recommend their purple rice and their Japchae, and their shredded daikon is a MUST. Their interior has high chairs with some greenery. Service is as quick as you make it when you decide what bases and toppings you want. Tasty tasty bowls.

Prices are excellent for the amount of food you get. The place sits in a very cozy location walking distance from Cornell.

The menu itself is short and focused, while the interior of the restaurant features wallpaper with anthropomorphic animals, and large windows. I opted for the Burger, and my wife the Salmon. We also ordered the grilled dates and collard greens. I also decided on a Ginger Beer. They serve Goslings (since 1806), with all 47 grams of sugar, over ice and a lime. Highly recommended on the ginger beer flavor scale. The Burger came with a massive amount of their duck-fat fried fries, certainly more potato than burger. I also liked the burger with the added bacon. But my wife's Salmon was even tastier. It featured a nice hunk of fish, skin-on, crispy, and not some half-or-quarter fillet that other places might serve. Plus, it comes over a bed of green peas and canneli beans and green asparagus sauce on the bottom, and a small bed of frisée on top. The combination with the lemon cream leads to very satisfying bites. The grilled dates wrapped in bacon, with goat cheese, Marcona almonds, and honey were presented as a drumstick. The collard greens were nice, though on the saltier side. Seating here can be had inside or out. The bathrooms are located in the hallway next to the restaurant.

I was not a fan of the salmon mousse... far too salty and I wish it was paired with crisped bread or at least something other than Ritz crackers. I did, however, enjoy the presentation and taste of the macaroni au gratin. The square shape is very unique and I liked the cheese sauce. The lamb w gnocchi was also quite good. Pillowy and soft. The lamb was cooked well. Overall, I would maybe return. I enjoyed the macaroni au gratin as well as the lamb w gnocchi!

We decided on Bickering Twins, because can you go wrong with Mexican food and a margarita? Luckily we had no wait on a Friday evening at about 7pm. I was worried that since not many people were there it was a bad sign, but that was not the case. We were seated at a nice, sort of private high-top table near the door, which made it feel like we had privacy and our own little space. We ordered drinks, and I wimped out and went with a paloma instead of the tamarind maragarita. The paloma was great, but I'm still wondering whether I shouldn't have risked it. Our group of three decided to get chips & salsa (because why wouldn't you), and then we ordered three dishes to share. Our choices were as follows: Peruvian Ceviche, Birria Quesadilla and Chicken Enchiladas. First of all, the fact that they had ceviche and it was good just hands down made my day. It was good - I only wish there had been some corn kernels served with it. The birria quesadillas weren't what we had expected, but they were very flavorful and the juice was tasty. I Really enjoyed the enchiladas for the mix of flavors and textures. There were so many vegetables with our dishes and the sides of rice and beans were more than filling. My only complaint is that the rice was too much of a yellow rice - I prefer a white rice, but that's just personal preference. Even though we kept the menu at the table anticipating that we would want to order more, we ultimately were stuffed and the portions (while they looked small were actually quite filling!). Jose our server was kind and friendly. I would definitely come back as there are a variety of other meals I would try, and they have flights of Mezcal and Tequila that looked tempting. After a long hard day of hiking, this fabulous meal made the day. We returned to our hotel with sore legs, but our bellies full!

However, did love the elevated feel of a typical American bistro. We thought the service could've been more attentive, but improved as the evening progressed. Our waitress was super nice and was helpful in explaining the menu specials and answering any questions we had. Most notably on the menu, the NY strip was a perfect medium rare. We opted to get the 4 jumbo shrimp on the side, which we thought retained a nice snap when we bit into it. It was also well seasoned, while still displaying its freshness. The fries complemented the steak, but was too well done for our liking. Our other entree, the lobster mac and cheese, had a nice cheese pull. We liked the added roasted tomatoes in the baked mac and cheese, which gave it a necessary acidity that countered the creamy, cheesy roux. For our appetizer, we chose the meat and cheese board, which was really solid. Appreciated the waitress explaining the selection, as well as the addition of a sour cherry jam and pickles on the side. This gave us a lot of mix and match options (64 to be exact), and we also liked how it came with charred/toasted bread. Finally, we wrapped up with a chocolate peanut butter parfait and key lime pie. Both were really good (get both if possible, but we liked the latter more).

The filling of the boston cream donut taste like a vanilla snack pack pudding which I personally don't mind but still prefer non-vegan boston cream donut filling. Jelly and vanilla sprinkles were both yummy- no complaints! My favorite was the apple cider donut- the perfect crisp exterior and soft cakey moist interior. These were also warm! We also tried the Western which has vegan egg cheese and bacon on their house-made biscuit. Biscuit was delicious! I don't personally love vegan cheese, but rather enjoyed the smokey flavor of the bacon. Overall, I would definitely return, but would pass on the boston cream and get more of the apple cider donuts! I would probably also get another break fast sandwich.

I'm lactose intolerant and 2. 1 of us is vegetarian. This place checks all the boxes and we both can order without having to worry about anything. They also have wheat free options which is another plus. I got the breakfast wrap and it was probably one of the best wraps I've ever had. Definitely stepped out of my comfort zone trying it because I've only had the cheese on it but none of the other ingredients. I also got the strawberry mango smoothie with oat milk and it was the perfect match to my wrap. My friends had already eaten here and were raving about how good the cheese fries were and how I could actually eat them and they really were so good! Over all it was such a great experience and I love the diner vibes. The parking is a little iffy because it's in the same area of Dominos so it's a little limited but there's a parking garage around the corner and street parking is always an option. I have a new favorite place to eat where I can order and enjoy what I'm eating in peace.
