The noodles in a boiling cauldron of soup and tray filled with numerous toppings came out within 2 minutes. The portions were huge, and it was hearty and comforting. The soup itself was very flavorful, but the pork was very tough and somewhat dry. Overall, it was okay. It's good if you're craving soup or feeling under the weather and want something hearty. The employees are nice, but there seems to be an understaffing as we were waiting to be seated and had to find someone to pay the bill later on.

When we walked in and peeked at the dishes on the different tables, we knew we were in for an authentic treat. We ordered marinated cucumbers, garlic and string beans, pork chop and fried rice, beef lo mein, mince pork with noodles, crab meat steamed dumplings, truffle dumplings, and pork belly with quail eggs. Loved the steam dumplings, string beans, pork chops come with a dipping sauce, and minced pork noodles were super tasty. Cucumbers needed to be mixed to get the flavor from the bottom. Thai iced ice pro tip-ask for less ice. Definitely highly recommend.

Lots of light wood and just the right grey on the tile floors with murals of Chinese art that played with shadow and light. There was a bonsai tree in the corner surrounded by stone as if a small part of the garden found its way indoors. The servers were fun and looked like they were enjoying their work. in the rear of the restaurant there was what looked like a small pavilion. inside you could see through glass windows the entire kitchen and three chefs assembly line preparing the various succulent dumplings. We filled our table with plates trying a bit of a lot of options. We ordered the spicy cucumber salad, black wood ear mushrooms, pork and the shrimp and pork dumplings, sesame Dan Dan, and the braised pork belly with Thai teas. Now, that may sound like an awful amount of food for two people; but we had the intent of bringing left overs home for lunch tomorrow and wanted to try as many things on the menu as possible. If you want to try authentic Chinese foods and I'm not talking about that fried up over oiled and salted stuff they call Chinese at many places around here .... I definitely recommend you come try it out !!! Everything was outstanding. This is just the type of food that will be even better at noon tomorrow. Believe me.

In fact, when visiting Nepalese relatives both in Nepal and in various U.S. cities, we often have "momo making parties." So, we HAD TO try this restaurant when we discovered it in the food court of the Center Ithaca complex, just off the Ithaca Commons. For those who aren't familiar with momos, they're similar to Chinese dumplings or Korean mandu. Food. The server told us that he had just made fresh beef momos, so we ordered one plate (8 pieces, $11) and a plate of Chinese noodles with chicken and mixed vegetables ($12). Overall, we'd rate the food as 3/5, acceptable for a quick meal but not outstanding. The momos were of a nice size, but the outer shell was quite thick and doughy, and the filling lacked the complex spices (ginger, garlic, etc.) to which we were accustomed. They were served with a mass-produced spicy-looking red chili sauce that really wasn't too spicy. Traditionally, momo would've been served with a homemade tomato achar. The noodles dish featured lo mein noodles, tasty and plentiful teriyaki? chicken, and a few pieces of cabbage. We were disappointed that there weren't more vegetables, especially as our dish had far fewer vegetables than the promotional photo of the dish. Service. We visited the food court on a Wednesday afternoon around 1 pm. Upon approaching this restaurant's counter, we weren't sure if they were open as there were no staff in sight. We called out and the sole employee came to take our order and to prepare our food. Ambiance. The food court is in the inviting in the Ithaca Center. The area is light, airy, and clean -- with a nice variety of foods to choose from, such as Indian, Jamaican, Tibetan, Chinese, and more.

The momos were juicy and tender but could use a bit more flavor in the filling and/or sauce. The hapayaki rice dish was more oily, however, and had a spicy mayo-type sauce on top?
