We came for their DineLA lunch menu which was $45 for 3 courses and we were so glad we did! All food and drinks were very tasty. The fuggazetta pizza was unique with a dough that was so pillowy and soft that was perfect with against bite of the onions and tang of the olives. The french onion soup was rich and cozy with the perfect cheese pull. The chicken sandwich was juicy with a bit of a kick which went well with the refreshing slaw. The pasta was solid -- a standard, textbook bolognese. The only miss for me was the olive oil cake which while nice and moist was a little too heavy on the olive oil flavor so it tasted a bit like you were eating a foccaccia with cream. Restaurant insisted on a $105 cancelation for for a party of 3 while my child was sick - told me to just bring the sick child to the restaurant. Person on the phone said there was no owner or manager on site, and that the owner refused to waive the fee even though they would clearly be able to fill the spot with another guest. read more

We had the Margherita pizza although it was more like 4" than the 6" the menu claimed, French onion soup (I've had French onion soup at other places where it was filled to the brim with a crust on top, and this had less, but enough.), New Zealand salmon was light and delicious the way I wanted it - thanks to our server who asked how we wanted our salmon cooked, Grandma's chocolate cake, and olive oil cake to top our 3-course meal. I don't like Mondays, because that is one day that Bianca is closed. But as soon as they are open for the week, this place is absolutely THE place! Bianca is our go-to for everything, local bakery, café, meeting spot, and caterer all in one. The vibe is warm and inviting, and I especially love watching the bakers in action through the open window. Federico is always there bright and early, and no request ever feels too small, his hospitality like a good neighbor really stands out. My go-to order? Iced matcha latte, Margherita pizza, Fuggazetta pizza, a fresh loaf of bread, chocolate croissant, honey croissant... and honestly, more chocolate croissants. We loved it so much that we asked Bianca to cater (again!) for a school event, and they absolutely delivered. Our guests were genuinely excited, there were audible gasps seeing the spread. It truly felt like we shared a little bit of Bianca's magic with everyone that day. We love supporting local businesses, and this is one we'll keep coming back to. This is the second time I've had lunch at Bianca and I will say it is for sure not the last time. The first time I had lunch it was good but nothing that was too over or under whelming. Today Bianca was firing on all cylinders. Our server Brian was fantastic. He had good recommendations especially when I asked for the dessert choice. I'll come back to that. Today everything was on point. The service, top notch. Brian coursed our meal perfectly and checked in on us to see when we needed more time with something or if we needed our table cleared. The weather was so nice and maybe that added to the overall ambiance behind the hedge wall. I felt like everyone in and outside of the restaurant was enjoying their time. We shared the Tartare De Thon, very clean and refreshing. Using the lettuce cup instead of the bread was nice. We also shared the delicious burrata and peach salad. The freshest peach and creamiest burrata. A must get if you ask me. Brilliantly plated with lettuce cups to assist and a little kiss of a cherry tomato. Our main dishes were the Milanese and the Branzino. The branzino was shown table side then taken back for deboning. The flavor within that dish was to die for. A slight squeeze of lemon and muah chefs kiss. The Milanese looked great and was presented with a sunny side up egg on top. The mashed potatoes that came with it were nicely done. I asked Brian between three dessert, crème brûlée, cheesecake and the olive oil cake. He recommended the Cheesecake and I have to say I cannot Imagine that any desert could be better. It was light and creamy and perfectly sized to finish off a great meal. I was going to give the review four stars using a mix of my first and second times here. This is the sister restaurant to Madeo and more easily accessible to with their bakery and lunch menus. They were very friendly with their regulars. The appetizers: onion soup was okay. The fugazetta pizza was pretty good. The gnocchi was the star dish. The pillowy soft gnocchi in the tomato sauce with a hint of basil was delicious. The rigatoni was very good, but I kept going back and stealing gnocchi from my husband's bowl. The chocolate cake was good and very generous sized slice. Lemon tart was refreshing and light. The pastries at Bianca are delicious. The drinks are good sometimes. They were open for lunch on Christmas Eve so I tried a sit down meal. The tomato soup was good but not better than Panera or Urbane. The Burrata salad cheese was good but pretty small for the price. The Platform area is expensive, I'm sure the rent is as well. Stopped by in culver city for brunch as other places were full and had a long wait time. Bianca is such a nice restaurant with a lot of sunlight that makes it really nice to sit and have a nice chat with your friends for a long time. Ordered the sandwiches (steak and ahi tuna) and they were very tasty! Came with a side of salad and was really filling. Also ordered their cappuccino as they offer coffee and that was really tasty as well. Definitely will be back here when I'm in Culver City for brunch. Reservations are recommended and paid parking is available at their garage. There are nearby shops and coffee places that you can visit near the restaurant. Went for lunch on a Friday for my daughter's birthday. Upon arrival, parking is easy and getting to the restaurant from the attached parking structure, no problem but they do not validate. It was $10, so not too bad. All the food ordered was delicious-no complaints. Service was excellent, the hostess was very rude and sour faced, but everyone has a bad day, right? We tried not to take it personally. I had the espresso martini-twice-and my daughter had the lychee martini but had the server ask the bartender to substitute the added cranberry juice with elderflower which is what should go in the drink. I had the grilled salmon over a bed of rucola, fennel, romaine, and grape tomatoes, with a delicious lemon vinaigrette. Good and no surprises. The gorgeously designed venue got me hooked the first step I made into the door. Located at the heart of Culver City, it added the growing list to places to dine at The Platform at Culver. You could sense the fusion of classic and contemporary French touch in the ambiance, which I totally admired. All servers were extremely friendly and helpful, from greeting at the entrance, helping us finding seats ASAP, and helping us making order decisions. We went for Sunday brunch and started with their Croque Madame, which was mind-blowing. Yeah it might sound like pretty simple common brunch dish, but theirs certainly worth the price tag. Portion was filling, the bechamel sauce and cheese were flavorful and generous, the meat stuffing (prosciutto if I recalled correctly) was high quality, and the sunny side was perfectly runny. Being in French resto, we surely didn't wanna skip the pastries and cakes. We could hardly decide if to order the ricotta cheesecake tart or the almond and fig crostata. The server mentioned that the first was more popular and there we were ended up ordering both, and we didn't regret. They were both good in their own ways, and it would really depend on preference. The ricotta cheesecake served right balance of creamy and light texture, and came with nice crust. Whereas the almond and fig tart had delightful buttery tart and royal almond and fig blend. They did have tons other pastries and cakes on the showcase to try, not to mention their dessert menu as well. I'm pretty sure the cake was spoilt as it tasted like sweaty dirty socks! I was so shocked such a nice place with such beautiful pastries could make something that tastes so rancid!!!!! The cookie was good and unfortunately the only thing that was edible. The danish tasted really old as well. The latte was excellent, probably one of the highlights. I also really enjoyed the Cacciucco. The broth was rich and flavorful. The Bolognese, though, was just okay. I had been looking forward to the veal bolognese, but it didn't quite live up to expectations. We ended up spending about $70 per person. Thanks to my Yelp friend Tora introducing me to Bianca!. She said there's this awesome restaurant she wanted to try. They have a take out window called LA Finestra, which sells their pizzas, bread, and sandwiches only open on Wednesdays. Aside from buying the takeout, we ate at the restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal. Those who know me know I am a snob when it comes to my French and Italian cuisine, especially with the sweets and pastries. This place did not disappoint!
