The food here was actually really good, but unfortunately the overall experience made it hard to see myself coming back. I tried the viral mango sticky rice sundae and it was definitely the highlight. The mango passionfruit puree was so flavorful, and I loved it with the coconut soft serve and the crunchy coconut flakes added a nice textural element. It was super delicious, although $10 felt pretty expensive for a dessert. We also got the chicken sandwich, which was good. I really liked the sweet sesame buns and honey mustard sauce, although I wish there had been a little more sauce. Unfortunately, the service and atmosphere were the bigger issue for me. The restaurant was extremely chaotic and everyone was packed tightly together, with screaming kids running around and tons of dogs, so it didn't really feel like a relaxing place to enjoy a meal. The staff was also pretty rude and repeatedly asked whether we had ordered, eventually threatening to kick us out because we didn't have a table number, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. Overall, the food was good, but between the prices, atmosphere, and service, I wouldn't go back.
This spot is the most adorable food hall I've ever seen. The interior was super cute + I loved the vibes. When I found out that the sundae was dairy-free, I was a bit skeptical. I'm very happy to report that I was WRONG!! If you didn't tell me anything, I would think that it was made with dairy. Texture-wise, the soft serve is extremely light. The sticky rice had a weird texture, but the mango chunks were delicious. The entire middle was filled with passionfruit syrup, which was yummy, BUT it can get too sweet very fast. The brownie on the chocolate sundae was GOOD. The cookie was a bit tough to bite though. Depending on the time you arrive, parking can be a bit difficult. They are busier on the weekends, so we had to park on the street (1 hour max!!) There is a parking lot with very limited spaces, but if you can manage to snag a spot, you get 90 minutes free! A really unique multi vendor dining hall that is especially a great call for a quick and casual lunch. There is a parking lot attached on the side of the restaurant that offer offers validated parking. They don't have false waiter service instead you order at the kiosk in front, grab a number, and then they bring it to your table. As mentioned, there are many different vendors under one kitchen, so you can really have a mixing match of many different types of cuisine. They have indoor and outdoor seating and inside a surprisingly large larger than it looks from the outside. For this visit, I chose from the Mediterranean option and got the steak plate. It was honestly a great call for lunch and the portion size was just enough to fill you without overfilling you. We also tried the fried chicken sandwich from the other establishment and that too was really nice. Overall, this is a great option for lunch and I can see why it's really popular.

Absolutely love this place! The vodka pasta and chicken Caesar wrap were phenomenal. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. The only downside is that you have to order first and then find a seat, and the line can get pretty long on the weekends. That being said, the food is completely worth the wait. And the mango sticky rice ice cream is on another level. It's genuinely one of my favorite ice creams in the world and something I would come back for on its own. The ambiance is super cute too, great for a lunch out with the girls. Already looking forward to my next visit!
Loved trying this new place in Brentwood! I had no idea what to expect when walking in. I stood in a line, thankfully was not long enough that I was outside so was able to stay cool on this hot day. I had no idea that you order from a kiosk. I quickly pulled up the menus online - yes plural! Many different restaurants in this 1 spot. There were newbies outside which I now know you grab to decide while you're in line what you want. I decided to get the chicken teriyaki bowl. They do make sure to stop you from ordering at the kiosk until there's an available table to sit at. This is why the line can get long. So once ordered we were shown to a table and we placed our number so the servers know where to deliver your food. The wait wasn't long at all. You are provided cups and water when you sit. I enjoyed the bowl i got. However, I paid extra for spicy and the "spicy" sauce I got wasn't spicy at all, and I paid extra for that. The other negative I'd say is the plastic they use. All sauces came in little plastic containers. I think if you are dining at the location they should figure something else out.
Stopped by Neighborly around 3pm on a Sunday and it was still packed. There was a decent line and the dining room was full, so it definitely seems like a popular spot. I was only grabbing takeout, but it wasn't very clear where to order and I ended up waiting in the dine-in line for a while. Thankfully, a friendly employee pointed me in the right direction. **Pro tip: there's a separate takeout kiosk next to the bathroom. I picked up the Mango Sticky Rice Saturdae from Mixtape. It was tart, refreshing, and much lighter than a traditional dairy ice cream. It captures the flavors of mango sticky rice in a fun way and makes for a great summer treat!
This is the best food hall I've been to yet! I like that they seat you once you order, so no one is fighting for tables, and if you want dessert or drinks, they'll also take your order at your table. The meats from mini kabob are really tender, and pair well with the dips and sauces. And the mango sticky rice saturdae from Mix Tape is so good, and I can't believe it's dairy free! Also our server was so nice, friendly, and attentive!
Food Halls/Ghost kitchen dining halls have been popping up throughout LA the past few years. I feel majority of them end up being a cool idea but end up failing due to lack of quality control or something is just missing. Neighborly seems to fill those missing gaps. The food quality is just a good as the service and decor. Its a good place for a casual lunch of dinner with a small group of friends or solo dining. Prices were not cheap but reasonable for the area and quality. There were about 5 different ghost kitchens with options varying from soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, Mediterranean, and Italian. The fried chicken sliders and tomato soup hit the right spot after a long day of running around the city. A must try are the soft serve options to end with a sweet treat. There was a small parking lot next to chase bank where they offer free 90min parking with validation. Otherwise parking didnt seem to be a problem during not peak hours. Will be back!
Be ready to wait for a table! You're not allowed to grab a table until you've placed your order - there's a wait to place your order as well. We felt a little bad hovering over other diners in between ordering and receiving our food, in hopes of getting a table before our food arrived. The vibes are elevated dining hall. The pizza was very tasty! It was supremely messy so we had to track down napkins multiple time. I have heard mixed reviews about the different sandwich options, but I can definitely recommend the deep dish pizza.
I've been to both locations and each are so good! Today, I finally dined in the brentwood location and honestly every time I go, it gets even better. All the food is so good from Gabys Cooking, the sandwiches are amazing to the Mediterranean is on point! We tried the df soft serve ice cream-it was so good! I only found out it was DF until I looked it up. Can't wait to come back and try the pizza!
I have been a big fan of the original Westlake location, so I was thrilled to come visit the Brentwood location! The food was just as good, and the marketplace is way bigger and I was so impressed! The staff was still just as friendly as the ones at the Westlake location, and the area is so cute. There is plenty of seating inside and outside of the location, and there's even free parking in the parking lot adjacent to the restaurant (with 90 minutes of free validation!!). I hope this is a go to place for folks looking for healthy options and for groups of people who want to eat together, but want to experience different foods!! My favorite place to order is from What's Gaby Cooking -- but I know that if my friends are looking for other options, they could get a kabob from Mini Kabob or a pizza!! I can't wait to bring more people here!! Apparently they're opening another location in studio city too - yay!
Beautiful brand new cafe type restaurant in Brentwood. No frill and easy set up where you walk in order on kiosks and get a number. The staff will bring food to your table. The sandwiches and pastas were delicious! Also such a vibe with natural wines, the bar seats and outdoor seatings. Strawberry Sunday was just ok so can skip this lol Will def be back to try more dishes!! What a great spot for the Brentwood neighborhood!!

The food was great! The service and the workers were horrible. We had to wait 30 minutes for one person's food when everyone else's came almost immediately. The workers all had quite an attitude as well. The vibe is cute inside but they need to retrain their staff everyone from the "host" where you order, to the food runners, etc. read more
* avoid if your party is less than 3 * Service: We waited 40 minutes to dine in, next in line to order, only to be told there were no tables for parties smaller than 3. A party of 5 behind us was pulled ahead to order and sit first, and the rest of us were basically told to order takeout if we didn't want to keep waiting. A different woman, who I assume was the owner, noticed we were upset and helped find us a table after we had already stepped out of line. By then, the party of 2 in front of us and the party of 3 behind us had both been seated, while the girl managing the line avoided eye contact and kept walking away. Once seated, service was still lacking. No one checked on us, our water pitcher stayed empty, and we had to flag someone down just to get the dessert we ordered. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and frustrating. Food: The food was actually really good, we ordered the Mama Alva's favorite plate and the prosciutto & burrata sandwich both were delicious. We also ordered strawberry graham sundae which was mediocre given what we saw online/menu. Parking: also a nightmare. They have complimentary 90 min parking in a tiny lot or surrounding street parking. read more
I absolutely love the concept of this spot--the variety is incredible and there's truly a little bit of everything. Our party of two shared the Chicken Tender Box, Mamma Alva's Favorite Plate, and the Sesame Ginger Teriyaki Bowl. The portions are so generous that our order could have easily fed four people. Chicken Tenders: Perfectly hot and crispy--try all the dipping sauces. Mamma Alva's Plate: The protein was seasoned to perfection and packed with flavor. Sesame Ginger Bowl: I especially loved the rice. The service is seamless: order at the kiosk, grab a table, and the food arrives shortly after. The staff is attentive (shoutout for the proactive water refills!) and the vibe is great. Tip on Parking: Parking in the area is terrible, but don't stress--they have a dedicated lot at Chase Bank. Just keep an eye out for the signs or settle for street parking if you get lucky! read more
I've now been back to Neighborly two more times since my original review. One more for dine in on a busier Saturday afternoon and once for take out. Food remains insanely delicious. I'm so happy to have it in the neighborhood! One note is that I wish there was less plastic especially for dine-in. Love the water on the table but can we please have reusable glassware? The amount of waste a restaurant creates especially with this sort of turnover is huge. I know it creates more dishes but I feel guilty drinking water from plastic that is single use. Dips and sauces could also be in small ramekins. We all need to do our part. :) read more

Wooow I'm obsessed with this place! The ambiance is very modern and communal. The service is quick which I appreciate and the food is amazing! Teriyaki chicken bowl -5/5 this was the best teriyaki bowl I'd ever had!! The rice is flavorful, the sauce is perfect, and the chicken and mixed veggies were delicious! Pizza -3/5 I got the cheese pizza and I wasn't the biggest fan bc the crust is dry and there's barely any marina sauce and too much cheese. read more

When I heard a new Neighborly location was opening closer than the Westlake Village spot, I was genuinely excited. Founded in the heart of Westlake Village, Neighborly is a curated kitchen and marketplace designed for the way modern families actually eat. The concept is simple but smart: one central kitchen powering multiple "eateries," so everyone in your group can order exactly what they're craving, all in a single order. The current lineup of "neighbors" includes: *MixTape by Questlove (all gluten-free / mostly non-dairy; chicken burgers, sandwiches, and tenders) *What's Gaby Cooking (everyday California fare) *Palermo Pizza Club (pizza and pasta) *Mini Kabob (fresh Mediterranean grill) On this visit, my friends and I ordered a mix across a few menus: From What's Gaby Cooking: *Chinese Chicken Crunch Salad-roasted chicken breast, avocado, romaine & little gem blend, shaved cabbage, shredded carrots, mango, cilantro, crispy farro, candied almonds, wontons, and sesame seeds with a miso peanut vinaigrette. *Sesame Ginger Teriyaki Bowl-with teriyaki chicken, green beans, Asian quick cucumbers, ginger, kale, marinated mushrooms, herbed rice, crispy farro, and sesame seeds, plus a side of spicy teriyaki sauce. From Palermo Pizza Club: *Rigatoni Alla Vodka -- Pasqualina's original vodka sauce with prosciutto, white wine, and Calabrian chili flakes, finished with stracciatella, parmesan, basil, and parsley. From Mini Kabob: *Crispy Falafel-homemade and perfectly crisp, served with tzatziki mast and chipotle toum aioli. Parking is a bit limited as they share a small lot next to a bank, but there's usually plenty of free residential street parking nearby. Overall, Neighborly is great for a group dining experience. I went to try this place. Nobody greeted me. I walked around and I could not find anything that looked appetizing or that was healthy or vegan. There was sugary ice cream. It was busy. It was chaotic. It is not a place I will ever go back to you here's a picture of some of the items. I think they did have avocado toast so there was one vegan item but for self serve and Brentwood I thought it should have some healthy options. It did not look good to me. I left and walked down the street for better options. read more
So happy to have Mini Kabob on my side of town! The Neighborly just opened this weekend and not only is it a great Westside location in Brentwood, but they even have free 90 minute validated parking at the bank next door! Ordering online was easy, and for a space sharing several food options with different vendors, it feels like an upscale boutique shop which just happens to serve a few well curated menus for people who want more than the usual fast casual offerings. I ordered all my favorites from the original Glendale location, chicken, steak, falafel, extra garlic toum. I got a few items like the ancient grains and Chipotle toum that I loved as well. As always, every protein was tender and succulent, all the herbs were varied and fresh, the hummus was as smooth as silk, and the falafel may be the best in the county. Service was friendly and efficient, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by everyone and all were very helpful in explaining the options and getting me my online order. This will definitely be on my regular rotation of spots! read more
Went to the new Neighborly location in Brentwood for lunch today. I had a chicken sandwich. You order on a computer screen. There are many options to add or subtract things so you can order exactly what you want. The sandwich was very good as well as being very well behaved. Unlike the chicken sandwiches in some places, the chicken stayed between the two pieces of the bun and didn't try to slip out. It also didn't drip all over like some chicken sandwiches do. Plenty of napkins came with the sandwich, so if it did drip there wouldn't be any problems. There are a vast number of things to choose from as well as a number of things you can take home with you. There are lots of cookies and candy. Although I ate there, many people were getting their food to go. read more

Overall very positive experience! Nice restaurant where you can order from 4 different places. There are not enough ordering screens so the line to order was quite long. Everyone working there was very nice and friendly. Food came out at a reasonable speed. We got a falafel plate from mini kabob that was amazing, a burrito bowel with mushrooms that was also pretty good and a Margherita pizza with arugula that was okay. The pizza was really heavy and cheesy and a slice was enough. A fun spot to check out! read more

I've been really looking forward to trying this place as I always see really long lines. Maybe my expectations were too high but this place is just mid. Quality of food depends on what you order. The wait from when you place an order to when it arrives was crazy long. Cheeseburger wrap was pretty good and creative. Spicy fried chicken sandwich was legit bad. Bland and ratio to the breading to meat was way off, like 2/3 of the patty was breading. Decor was nice and and staff was friendly. 2.5/5 for chicken sandwich, most cafeterias and fast food places have better options. 4/5 for cheeseburger wrap. 1/5 for the kitchen service from order to ready. 4/5 for waitstaff. 4/5 for vibes. 3/5 overall. read more
I simply can't say enough good things about neighborly! We have been here a half dozen times since they're opening and they are always consistent. The staff is so friendly, so upbeat and helpful! I love the variety on their menu, everything is phenomenal! The attention to detail and care they put into each order is well worth it! Prices are fair, considering the quality, we have never had an issue here. I love how well they pack everything to go, but there is also plenty of indoor as well as outdoor tables to dine in. Hey neighbor, so glad you're here! Neighborly is one of the newest welcome additions to Brentwood, and easily one of my new favorite restaurants in West LA! Think elevated but casual food hall and mini market, with 4 different restaurants inside the same space to choose from. The fare is pretty diverse, ranging from pizza, pasta, sandwiches, kabobs, and even soft serve and wine. My favorite item was Thomas' Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which came with three sliders featuring a crispy, perfectly fried chicken cutlet, light crispy lettuce, delicately fluffy sesame encrusted bread, and the most delicious honey Dijon sauce. I also love how they have self-seated indoor and outdoor options after ordering via a kiosk, but still intimate, very friendly service that brought out water, plates, and your order to you. Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the Brentwood area for one of the best elevated food hall concepts I've been to! we've come here 8 times since opening and it's always been bomb. we've had gaby's, mini kabob and mixtape and all 3 are amazing. the miso salmon bowl at gabby's is incredible! it makes goop kitchen taste bad because it's all so yummy. read more

Food was amazing, we ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a regular classic chicken sandwich, to finish off we had to get the mango sticky rice and strawberry graham cracker desserts! 10/10! So good! Everyone was so nice and welcoming! We met the nicest manager from the Westlake Location (we think his name is Matt), he was so helpful! We highly recommend! read more
