    Earl Grey Blueberry Croffle

The bacon here was seriously delicious. I highly recommend getting a flight. I also really enjoyed the earl grey croffle. It was sweet but not overly sweet. The coconut coffee was okay. Not something I would get again for $10. I also got the rice dish with egg. It was okay. The slow roasted beef was the highlight.

Food was great, service exemplary from wait staff to the host and everyone in between. Nothing but great things to say about everyone staffing this place. Ambiance was nice. Brightly lit and well decorated this place is amazing when you first walk through that door. Parking is metered so while I was lucky to score a spot right in front it's not my jam to go to places not knowing I'm gonna get easy parking the way we did so that's my reason for the 1 star off let's just get that squared away. Ordered the latte although they have a slew of options for coffee and tea. I just wasnt adventurous to go for drinks with fruit in them and am not a big fan of matcha, though I hear actual matcha in Japan doesnt have the bitter after taste. After surveying the menu I went with the Francis. Glad I did. It came out piping hot and had just enough bacon on it not to be too much. The eggs were light, the cornbread-like roll was a little underwhelming and too hard for my liking. The potatoes were a nice touch that was the perfect amount of saltiness in flavor that included sweet potato as well. All in all a place I'd come back to if up for the parking situation.

We chose Sweet Maple for my daughter's birthday brunch because it looked cute, classy, and perfect for a group of girls. When we stopped by the day before, I specifically asked about kid-friendly options since the girls are extremely picky eaters. I was told they could accommodate them from the kids menu which had pancakes, eggs, fruit, and meat, which was perfect. Based on that, I made a reservation through Yelp (which required a credit card hold, I would be charge $15 per person if we canceled or made reservation changes). We arrived 10 minutes early and were seated quickly. The table setup was awkward--we had to move the table ourselves just to be able to sit down, then pull the table back towards us after we sat down. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill from there. Our server Kou P. did not come across as welcoming and seemed visibly annoyed when one of the kids asked for apple juice (which they didn't have) while the others ordered water. What was most shocking and honestly inappropriate for a place like this, was Kou's skirt. It was extremely revealing to the point where it made us uncomfortable. That alone made us consider leaving, but we stayed to avoid being charged the cancellation fee. As she walked, we can see her bottom cheeks, so she was wearing nothing underneath or it was very skimpy. I feel like she made a couple points to clean the bar table so she can be looked at as she was leaning over a bit. When it came time to order, things got even more frustrating. Despite being told the day before that accommodations could be made, Kou refused to allow the kids to order from the kids' menu because they were over the age limit. She questioned their ages directly and insisted they could only share the pancake order instead. This was very disappointing for the kids. We ended up ordering a couple stacks of pancakes, which were inconsistent (one had 6, another had 8), and items we were told would be included--like blueberry marmalade--never came out. The reason is because she said the kids are picky. So she only brought out syrup, butter, whipped cream and blueberries. Service overall was bad. Our server never checked in on us, and every time we needed something, we had to flag down other staff just to get her attention. Those staff members couldn't even bring out extra syrup for us. The food itself was just okay. Our main dishes were hot, but the "Millionaire's Bacon"--which the restaurant is known for--came out cold and tasted like something I easily make at home. Definitely not worth the hype or price. To top it off, a 20% gratuity was automatically added, which felt absolutely inappropriate for the level of service we received. This was a very disappointing experience, especially for what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration for my daughter and her friends. We will never come back here!!!!!!!

Sizzling Stonepot. This was good! Lots of flavor

Located near the Santa Monica pier. There were a few parking structures near by but the nearest one was closed so we parked at SP + parking and walked over. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating. The store was clean and nicely decorated. A very nice spot for brunch with friends. A lot of people were celebrating birthdays when we were there. I ordered the sizzling stone pot. It was great. Lots of flavor. The food all came out looking amazing. The pear juice was good as well.

A cute brunch spot within walking distance of Santa Monica beach. The interior is modern, bright, and cozy. The service was great. You do definitely pay for the prime location with the average entree being over $25. Nonetheless, I was intrigued by all the Korean inspired brunch offerings. I got the sizzling stone pot with tofu. The tofu was satisfyingly crispy and the all the different veggies brought nice texture and freshness to the dish. The main sauce combining everything together was sriracha, which was solid but I would have loved something a bit more interesting. To drink I had the fresh pear juice. It was light, not too sweet, and refreshing.

Omg!!!! I am dreaming of my next Sweet Maple meal! And vote to add a location in Santa Clarita (please, seriously though) The team, the menu, the thoughtful design, the joyous birthday song, complete with gold candles and tambourine KATE!!! You are a treasure; hope you have the best birthday too thank you for taking such great care of us The dishes are soooo inventive, fun, and beyond delicious... we need a new word for it, truly! Thank you to the owners, for bringing this destination to Santa Monica and sharing your love for great food and great times with us!

My experience of the reservations process about sweet maple was removed. If I paid the down payment for Sunday brunch, my review would still be visible. I wish I could leave a 5 star review about the food and take photos of the the different dishes I would order but I could not see myself paying to hold a table.

Came in on 2/14/26 and had to join the walk up list because (understandable given it was Valentine's Day) the wait wasn't even too bad. Had to wait about 15 min just to get seated. The hostess were very accommodating such as offering to sit at the bar area. After we got out table the service from our waitress was great given it was a full house. They do well under pressure! We ordered a michelada (9/10), maple espresso martini (10/10), Mexicali burger (9/10), short ribs pot (8/10) and I wish it came with another egg lol Original millionaires bacon (10/10) and star of the show!! We would come back again. They also validate the public parking nearby.

The line out the door is a gpod sign. It moved quickly, though and thank goodness! We liked this spot a lot. Lots of "fusion"-ish dishes on the menu. We shared the Korean chicken wings and a steamed egg skillet with chicken sausage, green onions and bacon. Both were nice nods to comfort Asian dishes. We really wanted to try the chicken and croffle and the French toast but both were HUGE portions and we would have needed a couple more folks to help us eat it all. The pear juice and berry lemonade were refreshing. I want to say the vibe is "elevated" brunch but at the same time, welcoming for girls time, buddies, families and a special treat. If you sit at the bar, you'll catch them making some signature coffee drinks with pretty cool flair. I think one drink included a smoked or burned cinnamon stick? It looked delicious.

    Still thinking about that bacon

You need to run to this place. It's so good. Line can be long but it's well worth the wait. We sat at the bar counter. At first we were going to sit outside but the car noise in the wind is quite a bit. We ordered the millionaire, bacon and holy cow. It's so so good. I got the egg souffle and I have to say it was like the best thing ever. I will definitely be back. There's street parking around which is metered. Bottomless Mimosa is a good deal.

    Sesame Einspanner
    Robert D.

We were seated quickly. The food came out ridiculously fast. But it was a little salty, the souflegg was a little overcooked and green on the edges, and the einspanner tasted off. My partners coffee never arrived. They ambiance is very nice, perhaps too upscale - I prefer the cozier vibe of the San Francisco location. Overall good experience just minor details that detract from the value for money at this pricey breakfast spot.

    Ale F.

The menu has lots of options and they have indoor outdoor dining. The decor is very cute and food came fast. It's pretty popular and service was good.

Sweet maple had the best espresso martini I've ever had. I said what I said ! The food was second to the espresso martini, we got a Francis soufflé and the Korean hot pot ribs. The best thing was the short ribs pot and the fresh fruit that came with the soufflé. The vibes were bright and sunny, a beautiful day and a busy spot for brunch. The waiters and waitresses were very fast and helpful. Overall, I see the hype behind this place and would be back for another espresso martini!

The scramble itself was very heavy on the spinach and light on the sun-dried tomatoes, which made for a not great texture and duller flavor. I did appreciate the bites with the creamy, tangy goat cheese. The toast was just ok and the strawberry jam it came with was very runny. I did enjoy the fresh greens on the side that were lightly dressed.

This is a messy dish for sure. You will get your hands dirty! Chorizo Benedict came out about 30 minutes after order. Not great honestly. Portion size was generous. The eggs were poached decently, still runny, but the chorizo itself was bland and rather dry. The potatoes were room temperature. The bread a bit too chewy. Not AT ALL spicy. Order at the counter, get a number, wait outside for the cashier to call your number and give you a table, then continue to wait for your food, which likely isn't fired until you're seated. Firing upon seating makes sense, of course, but what they're really doing is creating a wait list for tables but getting you to commit your money first so you don't leave if the wait becomes long. Hmmm. The decor of this relatively tiny spot is basically fast-food-plus. Your local Panera Bread probably provides more atmospheric panache. We were initially seated at a table where my chair was butted up against an unmovable stool bolted to the floor at the next table, so that whoever sat there would be practically engaged to me by the time breakfast was over. We were eventually moved, and so I didn't need to cheat on my wife over eggs, but whoever designed this nook must have been high. At least I hope they were high, because otherwise... ya know? My wife ordered the OG Oatmeal pancakes with cinnamon maple butter. These are paper thin pancakes in the Swedish style, and they were enjoyably tasty. Eggs served a la carte with them were, likewise, nicely prepared. I had wanted a traditional breakfast of eggs, meat, potatoes and toast, but they don't offer that as an option -- if you want it, you have to order each element of the dish a la carte, and doing quick addition in my head I figured that was crazy. So, I ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was far, far less successful than the pancakes. An over easy egg with a barely melted slice of cheddar and a thick slice of overcooked, nearly petrified "picnic ham" that was too charred to reveal what it's intended flavor was meant to be. This was topped by an excessive amount of mayonnaise and an "arugula relish" that was essentially an arugula mayonnaise. Together, this mayo duo was like an unctuous spackle, and pretty much killed the sandwich entirely. I removed the top bun, scraped as much of the mayo from the egg as I could, and ate the remainder with knife & fork, but the infusion of heavy mayonnaise flavor and texture was impossible to ignore, and I found the adventure very disappointing. As my wife said, "they're famous for the pancakes," and I agree those were tasty. But between the prices and the missteps, and the fact that a traditional egg breakfast must be ordered with each element a la carte (which is just annoying), I can't recommend this over the many other options along Montana.

All we really wanted was a good experience. The only direct request we had after speaking with Aaron was to have our bed re-made so we could nap before leaving. In fairness, we requested this from the a front desk attendant after they could not locate Aaron directly. However despite being assured that it would happen, it never did. Very unfortunate as we really wanted to like this property given the location. Other, albiet smaller issues included our lunch order being initially incorrect as there was a menu change but the chefs didn't know about it. Our server was very nice and apologetic. My wife was asked and requested a warm room for her spa service but it didn't happen. Also, someone walked in during the middle of her treatment looking for something. We had to walk around to find a server for the pool restaurant after waiting ~10 minutes for someone to arrive. With all of this, we would consider giving it another try namely because of the location and because everyone was courteous despite not delivering, but that would be a tough decision with other proven 5 star properties in the vicinity.

Oh my gosh! This place is absolutely wonderful! It's located in the hotel and we got reservations…read morebut there was a line for walk ins before 5. This place is charming and we got sat indoors overlooking the pool. It really felt like I was in another city somewhere. The servers and hosts were very attentive and very helpful answering any questions. Everything everyone ate look absolutely fantastic. Drinks: sunset spritz was a wonderful spin on the classic aperol but it had Vodka in it so it gave it an extra kick, but did not taste boozy. I also had the cucumber marg and our server asked me if I would like some Jalapeno slices in it and it really elevated the whole experience. Apps: the PEI mussels were beautifully arranged and the curry sauce that it in was very flavorful. I highly recommend this as a starter. The steak tartar was a whole show, the server walked out with a glass case that was ultra smoky, which they opened in front of you. It was a dinner and a show!! The tartar was very delicious. If you're a tartar fan, you have to get this. Wedge salad deserves it's only paragraph! It was huge, the pecans were a nice touch. I am not a fan of blue cheese dressing but it was not at all over powering. It was absolutely incredible. Mains: we ordered the branzino and these short ribs and both were cooked to perfection. The branzino had a perfect char to the skin and the server recommended the short ribs with mashed potatoes versus what it comes with which was shave carrots. The majority of the food and drinks were on special that ended 6 p m. If you do go I highly recommend going before 6. You can also valet your car and it's also discounted if you're there 2 hours or less. I will absolutely be coming back for happy hour again. Maybe even brunch!

We stayed at the Fairmont for a few days and ate breakfasts at the Fig restaurant every morning…read more The breakfasts were great. Pancakes and Waffles were served hot - something I don't take for granted these days. Eggs Benedict had perfectly poached eggs and the hollandaise sauce was on point. The smoked salmon and bagel was large enough to share. The best deal in the house is happy hour between 5 and 6 when a select menu is 1/2 price. We enjoyed the margharita pizza, pork meat balls, wedge salad, French onion soup (was a bit salty). Servers are efficient and helpful. Seating is inside and on the patio.
