The restaurant is located inside a hotel and does offer reasonably priced valet service. The restaurant itself is gorgeous! Beautiful on a sunny day. Outside dining tables have a partial view of the beach. There was also a live DJ playing upbeat music. Not too loud so you can still comfortably talk. Food wise, everything was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. I ordered the pancakes and chicken and loved it. The butter with it was incredible! I also tried a bite of the steak and eggs. This dish was also yummy! The "jumbo" crab cake was extremely tiny. The dishes all also had too many flavors that didn't pair well together. For instance, the seam bream was topped with overpowering bacon and raisins? Odd pairing. The Cauliflower steak was decent, but had a weird paste-tasting puree with it. For what you are paying, it just isn't worth it. We left everything unfinished. The fries were foo. I visited this restaurant after a morning running event hosted at the Promenade. This place was very nice and played off the beachy vibe very well with the modern coastal decor. My girlfriend's and I all ordered brunch items; a salmon club, fish tacos, and a burger. I originally was drawn toward the fish tacos because of a prior Yelp review but it wasn't on the actual menu. I've been wanting to dry more hotel restaurants/ bars lately and my girlfriend recommended we try this place cause she'd seen the drinks looked good on social media. We came on a Tuesday night so honestly it was super super dead but the vibes are so cute, almost like a Tulum vibe and it's very spacious and comfortable inside. You enter by going downstairs near the back of the hotel. We got about 5-6 drinks split between the 3 of us. I had the star of the sea and my friends the chai chai chai (w alcohol) and a matcha martini they made (which was sooo good). The drinks in my opinion weren't life changing but were decent. When we arrived, I was instantly amazed by everything from the decor, the ambiance, the color palette, and the overall design style, along with the views. Came with a friend for the first day of DineLA and specifically said we were here for the DineLA lunch to the maître d'. He gave us the Chef's prix fixe menu also $35. We assumed it was the DineLA menu and ordered the shrimp toast (ok), Caesar salad (delicious and refreshing!), salmon tostada which was beautifully plated, but looked more like a taco - still good, but we had expected a tostada, and mini pastry trio (they were ok). We overheard the couple behind us ask for the DineLA menu, but was told by their server it didn't start until tmrw. They decided to order from the menu rather than the Chef's prix fixe. That's when we compared menus and saw the difference (see attached). The DineLA menu had short rib tacos but no salad, crab cakes, a steak sandwich and apple turnover for dessert. It was a better menu also $35. The server explained that the restaurant thought the DineLA started tmrw and wasn't ready with the items today. The DineLA menu clearly said daily and dates were promoted. Well, too late now. We sat on the patio to catch a glimpse of the ocean on this beautiful day. I headed to Marelle on a weekday to try their Dina LA lunch menu. It is a beautiful restaurant with good food. However, their service surprised me. Dessert was served while I was still working on the entree, the check came before I touched the dessert, and when I turned to the dessert, it was not what I had ordered - instead of Apple Turnover, I was looking at some sort of brownie. No notice was given beforehand, no options were offered beforehand. It was not a pleasant feeling to be just given a random dish. Large slices of salmon were in the sandwich along with avocado, bacon, beefsteak tomatoes with a tarragon aioli. Very good. The Chicken jidori sandwich had a large, jucy piece of chicken with a crispy fry on the outside. A really nice bite. The snakeriver farms burger comes with caramelized onions and a white cheddar cheese. Shady cooked well and tasty. Overall, great ambiance, especially sitting outside, with good food as well. It's spacious with both outdoor and indoor seating. The design and details were all stunning. The service was friendly and very accommodating. I have to be so honest- I really wanted to love this place. We tried it when it was quite new so I'm hopeful it will get better! When we came we asked about the shell drink we had seen all over and they didn't have any because they had all broken. We tried the honey bee (the boys said it was just kind of lacking unfortunately, there wasn't a lot to it), La vie en rose (came with cute heart shaped glasses), and the out in the cosmos- both of those drinks were good but pricy for what you get. I enjoyed the hamachi crudo as a starter but the other 3 did not. We also had the chicken wings and we all enjoyed those probably the most out of everything! For our mains we all split the spaghettini, herb roasted chicken, and the steak. We asked for the steak medium rare and it came well done. The only good thing said about the meal was that the capers on the pasta were good- a compliment we all still laugh about today. It was a very expensive, underwhelming meal. Let me start this review off by saying a lot like everyone else I was seeing this place all over Instagram and how beautiful the interior aspect of everything looked. It was 100% my vibe and definitely added to the list of places to check out. My boyfriend and I went this past weekend and our experience overall was "ok". It's relatively easy to get to and we ended up just doing valet parking which worked out so we didn't have to try to find any parking on the street. We got to our reservation and we were seated right away. Again beautiful interior, beautiful furnishings overall the aesthetic of everything was spot on. Our server was very nice, but I would say a little less than attentive. He came by once to take our drink order & keep in mind that they have a special seashell glass cocktail that they do charge $10 just to drink from I was told. He then came by a second time to take our order. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and my boyfriend ordered the steak and eggs. I was expecting a little more since this is a Michelin rated chef however I felt the flavor was lacking in both dishes. It wasn't horrible but again I was just expecting a little bit more wow factor and I don't feel like we got that. The drinks were OK. I would say it's nothing extreme or extravagant and the food was just "ok". After our waiter brought out our food, we never saw him again. We sat there for maybe about 35 minutes or so after the meal and my boyfriend was wanting to order another drink, but he had never came back around to check on us to see if we needed anything. We ended up having to ask another employee to let our server know that we wanted the check . Although it was none of our business, we could hear the surrounding tables around us complaining that they hadn't received their food in over an hour, and they had been sitting there before we were seated. I'm not sure what was going on. Maybe they were just short staffed but you could over hear multiple tables complain. We proceeded to leave and again a beautiful walk-through of the grounds very close to the beach. You can actually see the beach from the outdoor seating area as well as the pool. Maybe since this is a new restaurant that just opened they don't have the staff yet to accommodate but then you would think they wouldn't open yet? I think that played into a lack of service indefinitely. Maybe in the future they will have more people to accommodate the volume. If you definitely want that picture for the gram I definitely would say check this place out but food wise and drink wise. I feel that there are some better options nearby. read more

I came here for a girl's night for dinner and drinks on a Saturday evening. We valeted ($11 for 4 hours) but there are public parking lots nearby with a short walk. The views and vibes are gorgeous. As soon as I sat down he looked at me and goes "just let me know when you're ready" he didn't offer a menu or introduce himself at all.
