Wet solids breakfast sandwich. Key benefit is use real eggs as opposed to other airport options

As I write this, (6:00 am on the 21st of March ) the food service workers are watching videos on their phones with headphones and have food safety gloves on. However, handling my breakfast sandwich with the same gloves they are holding their phones with doesn't seem very sanitary to this costumer--gross! Customer service here at the BWI airport is NOT not is it CLEAN! read more

My flight was delayed 2.5hrs, lunchtime was looming and I was OVERJOYED to find that a Burger Joint had moved into the Southwest terminal since my last visit. I ordered a medium burger with no bun, fries and a soda. This meal was by far one of the better ones that I've had in an airport. Although the burger was more medium well than medium, I was pretty damn happy nonetheless. Note: they don't have the fancy make your own soda concoction here; they actually pour your cherry Coke or what-have-you behind the counter. read more

Wow - I can't believe I'm writing a restaurant review for a food place at an airport - but this place had amazing food! I ordered the burger "sliders" and the Salmon BLT, thinking that one or the other might be good enough to eat. Incredibly, both orders were fantastic! I'm not kidding! They actually asked me how I wanted the slider/burgers cooked. More importantly, the sliders came out 'rare' just as I ordered. The buns were fresh and the sauce was fantastic. I still can't believe how great they tasted. The Salmon BLT was huge with generous portions of salmon, bacon and all the fixings. It was perfectly prepared and totally delicious. I actually felt a bit stupid for having ordered both the sliders and the salmon BLT. Both orders far exceeded anything I could have expected. Even the service was "good to better," particularly for a food spot at a busy airport. There's no doubt I'll make a point of stopping back for another meal the next time I pass through BWI Airport! read more

Quick and good food had chicken tenders and fries. Had a m&m cookie which was ok. But super nice lady at counter and let me know the chicken tenders would take about 10 minutes. Was happy she told me and asked if that was ok. read more

Amazing food and great place to eat and be with friends. The pepper burger had my mom up the entire flight read more

BGR Burgers Grilled Right - Great food and company - Burgers Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

Worst customer service ever. A simple burger took 34 minutes. The staff is rude. Avoid this place

This is a very welcome new addition to the standard airport fare which started off our vacation on a really good note. I enjoyed a cooked to order grilled high quality pre-maid patty on a high end bun with all of the toppings I requested. One order of fresh cut and fried french fries can feed a family, so we shared one order and we all enjoyed our burgers. We caught the smell of grilling meat and immediately found this restaurant. I can't blame the restaurant that the tables were dirty since it was in a main area surrounded by restaurants such as subway, a pizza place, and other dining options. The most enjoyable part of our meal was free entertainment, a guy came up to us ranting and raving about "they expect $8 for a burger" to us while we were clearly enjoying our $7 burgers. The man wore a light blue button down shirt and matching shorts that were obviously at least 40 years old, poorly maintained, and made with the lowest quality of fabric every available. He also sported a hip pack (where do you find them anywhere now-it's 2013, not 1987). He then ranted at us after looking at the menu at the pizza place "They expect $4 for a slice of pizza." We calmly ignored him as he went into similar rants after checking the prices of all of the restaurants and leaving utterly outraged. We laughed freely and loudly after he stormed out of the restaurant area in an outrage that made us worry about his health-mental and physical. My husband guessed that our entertainer was not one to spend money "frivolously' on things such as a vacation, and guessed that he might be visiting the area to check on an ill relative. I hope this chain expands into the Baltimore suburbs, it appears to be a DC restaurant. read more

Not only are their burgers outrageously delicious, especially for airport grub, but Esther is hands down the sweetest employee in all of BWI! Her smiling face alone is enough to make me come back every time I pass through here. read more

Always get the breakfast combo when I stop through BWI on a morning flight. Always friendly service, fresh and pretty fast food. The Breakfast sandwich is a nice size and they give you plenty of tots. I love this place. read more

I ordered a double cheese burger. my cheeseburger was tasty but was not roadworthy in the slightest. I must admit that a smile came to my face when I saw that crinkly, greasy, brown paper bag in all its glory. I knew then that it would be a great burger. make sure however that youhave some time before your flight. The burgers are worth it but you won't be eating this on the plane, lest you wish to have grease stains all over your pants at the end of your Mile High meal. read more

A solid meh. At$8 the veggie burger is fine but not $8 fine. $5 for a breakfast sandwich is not a good deal and it is meh as well. Why must you forsake me Baltimore airport :( read more

The veggie burger is delicious. Very unique. Has brown rice, black beans, molasses and oats. Very well made. This was our first time eating at the burger joint and we would definitely do it again. We are big fans of smash burger and it seems fairly similar although the veggie burgers are very different. read more

BGR Burgers Grilled Right - Veggie burger! - Burgers Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

Thumbs up for the most part. I ordered the sliders and gold standard fries. The fries were really decent and the burgers were full of flavor. They come with pickles, onions and a special sauce. The price for all of that and a bottle of water is $13 and some change. A little pricey, but I got four sliders and a Five-Guys-quantity fries. Friendly staff too. read more

Really good for an airport restaurant. Although a little pricey, short-staffed and a long wait (it was around dinner time), the employees were still friendly and seemed on top of things, and the veggie burger was legit one of the best I've ever had (although a bit crumbly). Good fries too. There's not a ton of seating in the little food court area, but there are rocking chairs nearby where you can sit in front of a window and watch the planes go by. read more

The hamburger is solid, particularly for an airport burger joint, but what sets this location apart is the service. I know, I know, but how many times have you had rude or at best robotlike service a the airport (yeah, I'm talking about BWI Pie 5 among others)? So shoutout to the staff at the BWI BGR - The Burger Joint for being friendly, helpful and turning out a good burger. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for weeks now! I stopped here on my way to Fort Lauderdale. I was starving and being a vegetarian my options are always limited in airports. I ordered the veggie burger and after a past encounter with an airport restaurant I always ask if they scrape the grill before making the veggie burger. The last time they didn't(not here)....let's just say it was an extremely rough flight. This time the guy came out and asked if I was ok waiting a couple extra minutes so he could clean the grill, he made sure my burger was made right and I super appreciate that! I wish I would have got his name so I could put it on here! Great experience and I would definitely go back if I'm in the area. read more

After waiting in line and watching others who has been waiting longer than me leave, I got to the counter and the clerk said she'd be right back. 5 minutes later another clerk comes out looking like she was miserable and mean, which proceed to be true. She took my burger order and then cursed under her breath when I ordered a milkshake that she apparently had to make. Food was okay but likely not worth the slow service and mean demeaner of the employees. Don't do it! read more

Best airport burger I've had in a long time. Slightly greasy, real cheddar cheese, and the double was much larger than I expected.

Very good Ahi Tuna burger. It was juicy and tasted fresh. Hot dogs are dry as the Sahara.

I like BGR. This is the one in BWI and actually has a somewhat smaller menu than other ones. It's still good just don't expect all the masterpieces or the monthly specials. They do tend to have some pretty friendly employees at the counter which is no small thing for an airport. read more

Great burger selection and the portion size was impressive. My wife and I ate the Wellington and weren't disappointed. Truffle oil was a little strong, but the other flavors made up for it. About a 10 min wait for food. read more

I have had negative experiences with BGR in the past and I wouldn't pick their burgers over any of the mid-level local chains or independent restaurants. However, for breakfast at BWI, this place has been the best I've experienced. $6-7 is pricey for a breakfast sandwich with meat, but its airport dining so the price can't really be discussed in relationship to a normal scale. The "steak" egg and cheese is a burger - surprise, surprise. Jk! I actually was happy with that, it was what I wanted; I was worried that it might actually be a piece of steak when I walked up and saw the menu. I'm assuming the only two cooking options are burnt and raw since I asked for medium well and it came out a crispy well with a char I've never experienced before on a burger that I paid money for. But despite all of that, it managed to be delicious. They use fresh eggs, and I've always liked their sesame seed buns. The workers here are especially courteous too, and not just for airport food service (which in my experience tends to be negligent and snippy). What I wish I could change: lettuce and tomato on breakfast sandwiches (may be possible, I didn't ask), and a non-American cheese option (also may be possible but didn't offer options and I didn't think about it until I got my sandwich). Overall, new breakfast favorite at BWI. read more

My review would be 3 stars if this wasn't in an airport. Service was ok but they weren't busy-- however the food was great! I ordered a burger wrapped in lettuce and it was the best airport burger I've ever had. The fries were a huge portion and while overpriced like all airport food, it was a great choice for lunch. read more

Not typical airport food. This BGR is across from Gate B6 inside BWI, but the same great burgers as are the other locations. Full menu that looks pretty much the same as the other BGR's. Great real grilled burgers! Besides French fries, they have sweet potato fries, onion rings and grilled asparagus. All good stuff. I waited less than 5 minutes for my order during a busy rush. read more

Better than the rest at the airport, but still airport food. Burgers are OK, a little overcooked but not bad. They do have beer.

Great food and service. I got a grilled chicken in a lettuce wrap and it was fantastic! Highly recommend.

Mediocre in every way, from the burger, to the service, to the wait times. Typical airport fare.

I recently tried the veggie burger with the works and wrapped in lettuce and was pretty disappointed. This burger is very, very sweet, not at all savory. It also crumbled apart quickly and had to be ate with a fork. Definitely would not order again. read more

Of the four employees I saw, three were talking to their friends. When I got my breakfast sandwich it was stone cold. Thanks but no thanks!

At here while at BWI. It's in the Southwest Airlines terminal. So, I ordered the veggie burger and loved it. It was amazing. I asked the cashier, which she thought was better, fries, or onion rings... she said onion rings, so I tried them... What a greasy, ball of unhealthiness... they were not even crispy, they were so oily they were soggy, I even gagged... I threw them out. Next time I come here, I would come for just the veggie burger. They don't know how to deep fry.. read more

Solid cooked to order burger. Worth the wait. About 7 minutes. Much better than all the fast food options. Friendly service. Recommended to travelers at BWI. Breakfast options in the morning as well. read more

Get the garlic fries!! But absolutely nothing else. The burgers sucked, the meat is way overcooked. I'm not sure why they both asking how you would like it done. The toppings are almost nonexistent, so it's basically just a huge slab of overcooked meat in a huge potato bun. read more

See all

I stopped here with my friend during a layover. The Wellington, tuna and sweet potato fries were all delicious.

Approached counter at 9:15pm and all 3 employees were in the back cooking area. One of them was moving something and told me that they were only cooking sides, no burgers. if the closing time is 10pm why are we cleaning up and not taking care of clients? read more

This is definitely not the place to stop while traveling through BWI, especially if you have a tight connection. I waited for 15 mins to get a Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich to be given a cold bun with bacon and egg. During the wait for our food, all of us heard the staff yelling and screaming at each other over something. Needless to say, executive management and/or owners need to get involved. read more

I'd give this place a 4 or 5, their burgers are so good. But i am talking some of the worst customer service I have EVER seen. Staff is extremely rude. I think they're all on a prison release program. All of them seem just pissed to be at work. I've been here several times and it's always the same. One night there was one lady doing everything. Other nights, several people doing nothing and one doing it all. Just worthless staff read more
