We had a pleasant experience with BGM Signs & Lighting. Bob is extremely efficient and has all the tools needed for the job. He is friendly but he is driven!. Bob does not mess around !!! He got things done for us in a very important high-profile Job off Melrose and helped advise some of our helpers on how to properly finish certain aspects of the project. He has a lot of insight, which I assume is from many years of electrical and sign work experience. He was an important part of the team in a highly complex, multi-contractor enviorment and we highly recommend him for any electrical or sign job you may need. He is an experienced tradesman that brings a lot of value and experience to any project he is involved in both on installation and planning side. read more

Our business Career Academy of Beauty is located on a busy street in Garden Grove and has been using BGM signs for over 25 years. They have seen us through location changes, sign restoration and sign updates over many years and has never let us down. Bob works locally and will come out to your location and talk to you personally and will send a detailed estimate of the work to be done or of the new signs you may need. He was extremely reliable and honest and super nice to deal with. We are very glad to have been able to do business with Bob for such a long time and highly recommend him. read more

Bob is perfect, repaired very quick and the price is very fair! He explained very clear, comfortable communication as a Chinese.

Bob was a great communicator and helped us understand how to best upgrade our on site signage. Very helpful and informative.

Been working with Bob a long time, he is amazing, well priced, and I can always rely on him to be honest even if I don't want to hear it.

Unfortunately the reviews claiming that Bob is very friendly, professional, and gave a good price are not what my experience was with him. He gave me a quoted price but upon arrival, it seemed like the job was a bit more complex. He had to leave due to access issues but arrived back later after we gained access to the room he needed, and he (understandably) said the job would be more than the quoted price and he would have to charge hourly. I was fine with that, but at the end he tried to charge 2 hours more than the actual work he did. He initially arrived at around 1pm and even after leaving and coming back, he finished the work at 4:30pm. He did at most 3 hours of work but was trying to charge for 5. I ended up paying him for 4 hours of work. Even then, I was willing to use him again because I will admit, he is responsive. But after asking for a quote and asking if he has any wiggle room (did not push, just asked), he responded brashly to find someone else and that I tried to do this to him last time. What?? Last time I actually overpaid but I did not want to argue and just paid it out. Unfortunately the guy is a bit rude and unprofessional, and beware that he might overcharge you. read more

My new sign stopped working just 4 months after having it put up (It was made and installed by another company that won't return my call anymore). I called Bob and he was out at my office in 2-3 days. He took a look at it and seemed to know what was wrong right away. He was extremely professional and finished a pretty big job within 1.5 days. He has a really nice truck with a lift that made the job easier. If you want to work with a professional and super nice guy call Bob! I am confident that my sign was repaired professionally and that it won't have any further electrical problems. He also gave me a really fair price. Thank you Bob!! read more

The sign for my business went kaput about 10 days ago. You want to go through a frustrating experience? Try finding a sign company to come out to your business a few days before Christmas. So I go through yelp and google to try to find someone, anyone to come out. I called 3-4 companies and Bob from BGM was the only one who answered my call. I sent him an e-mail with the issue, a couple of pictures, and he was able to give me an estimate via e-mail. It was a very reasonable quote and I asked him when he could schedule me. Now I'm thinking, it's right before Christmas and New Year's, so I would not have been surprised if he would have told me 2 or 3 weeks. Lo and behold he tells me that he will be at my business in the second or third business day after Christmas. Holy Batman! Getting my sign fixed during the Holiday's. Sign me up!! Here's the absolute best part. So I'm expecting him on Wednesday (New Years Eve) since he told me it would be the second OR third business day after Christmas. So what happens, he calls me a day early and says he would be there in 30 minutes. Bob shows up, does his magic and bada bing bada boom, I have a sign that lights up again. The work was done in a quality matter, he gave me some options, and actually saved me some money by doing some investigating and discovering that a wire shorted out and that he didn't have to change out most of the LED bulbs in my sign. All in all it was a great experience. Mind you, I would much rather not having to spend any money on a sign, but Bob saved the day for a very reasonable amount of money. Thanks Bob!! read more

I noticed my business light signage was out on a weekend. Sent out an email asking for an estimate. Provided him a photo of my sign, addresss etc..Got a a response the same day and had it fixed promptly that week! At a very reasonable fee! Where else would you go? Call Bob now. read more

Our business has been using BGM for about 6 years now. Bob has been our "go to guy" and he has always done an outstanding job. He is reliable and honest and we wouldn't consider using another company to work on our signs. I run a restaurant in Cerritos and Bob together with Ernie from The Sign Factory really saved us this holiday season. The lighting on our exterior signage went out during a period of heavy rain on one of our most important days of the season. Bob was extremely responsive and was able to partially diagnose the problem via email and text. They came out the same day, in the rain! and were able to get us back up and running at a very reasonable price. Thanks guys! read more

Just two days ago, BGM Signs / Bob Wahlsteen Installed my sign (State Farm) and window graphics at my business building. I was simply amazed, because the whole process (measuring, designing, manufacturing & installation) took about a month and the price was about half of what a national vendor had quoted (and four months after I put in my order, this national vendor lost my file). Needless to say I am very happy with the whole job & I highly recommend BGM signs to any one. Bob Walsteen Keeps his word & completes the project in less than he estimates. I am happily rating BGM Signs a 5 star. Jeff Morgan of Jeff P Morgan Insurance Agency Inc. Phone#562 595-6969.
