I was pleasantly surprised when Richelle Jensen immediately contacted me in response to my inquiry. She told me my project (a custom floor decal intended to go on an epoxy coated floor in my home brewery) would take about three weeks to proceed through design and production. I supplied the custom artwork to the design manager, Kim Heffernan; she added the brewery name in my specified font and returned the proof for my approval within two hours. The order was done in under two weeks (from first contact to completion), and the decal is outstanding. I was extremely impressed with the high quality and reasonable price. I came here based on the great yelp reviews and was excited to have my car in the hands of professionals. HOWEVER I was wrong. Everything was fine until I picked up my car. I was called late Afternoon to pick up my car. When I got there, no one walked me around my vehicle or explained anything or asked if I liked the work. I simply paid, and got my keys. Once I got home I found a big hole on the side of my car that I know was not there prior. I contacted them, no one has called me back after I said watch the cameras and check what was going on with my car all day. No call back, nothing, not sure what happened during this process but I'm very upset it was not handled correctly. read more

I needed an outdoor foam sign, an indoor wall sign, and a glass decal for my showroom in Anaheim. I called around to several signage businesses in the area. A few people came out, but I wasn't impressed by their quality or representatives. Then I met these guys. I placed a four figure order with Sunset on behalf of my company and I couldn't have asked for better service. These guys-- TJ Eschenbrenner specifically-- upholds the highest of business standards and offered me supreme, one-on-one customer service. He had answers to all my questions, recommended the most cost-effective options, and took a bunch of careful measurements. We continued to communicate over email. My company required a few months to clear the order, but TJ was always quick to respond if I inquired to alter it. I even happened to land a special and receive a 10% discount. He came out personally after the install to check it out, and noticed the color we had chosen didn't stick out as well as we had hoped. So he made me a completely new decal free of charge, installed next day. All three signs look incredible. So if you want amazing product, exceptional customer service, and a sick nasty high five I'd say go with Sunset. The company does a fantastic job at all of these things. I mean, unless the high five is just TJ's thing. I dunno, you'd have to ask him yourself. read more

My friend Joe who just recently started a business, wanted a banner made to display in front of his store. Since I had no idea where to start, I always go on yelp to find out. I found Sunset Signs and saw that my friend had been here so I asked her about it and she said they were great, I usually like to see 20 or more reviews on a place to get a wide view of opinions.. However, after talking with Joe and telling him what I found, he said lets go to the store and give it a shot. If we didn't like it, we could always leave. Once we got inside, we were greeted by the friendly staff. My friend explained to one of the workers what he needed and they could visualize what my friend was looking for. The Yorba Linda Sunrise Rotary Club needed our Annual Lobsterfest banners updated, Small street signs fabricated and large sponsorship signs created. Not only were they thorough and expedient, but the signs and banners turned out great! I began attempting to work with Sunset Signs on May 9th for an appointment to get an estimate. They were an hour late, after rescheduling 2 times. I have since paid the 50% deposit for the work. I have had to call their offices to ask about the progress every few days. I am currently still being put off by TJ for the installation. He has scheduled four separate appoinments and not shown up. This morning I called to ask where he was and was told, (again) he would not be able to get anyone out to install it and "I forgot to call you, sorry." I have been sitting here now for several hours waiting on him and his "installers." He was (again) supposed to be here at noon, and yet? No TJ or Sunset signs, no phone calls, etc. Extremely poor service. ***OK--So after writing to the owner, Tracy via his website, I was contacted right away. He apologized for the lack of communication and tardiness of the installers. He insisted he would make it right, and he did. The window vinyls were lacking a white outline needed to be more visible, and he re printed them that night and had installers here the very next day. He personally came out to meet me and check out the work, and was very professional and courteous. It seems he is a growing business as we are, and experiencing some growing pains along the way. This is something I can easily understand. I truly appreciate the effort to make things better, Tracy. And, I will call you first for our next sign and banners, because you definitely went out of your way to take care of us. Thanks! Update: (11/20/2014) With all the winds this past week, we had some issues with our monument sign being loose and almost falling out. I contacted TJ at Sunset signs, and he had a gentleman come out the same day to repair the problem, and I was not charged. Very appreciative for the very quick response and friendly service. NO! THINK TRIPLE TIME IF YOU WANT TO WORK WITH THEM I contacted them on December 20 for my new small retail store's sign. A lady at front called Eric but same time another person TJ come and order to Eric to go and bring his files from his table. I begin to explain but he didn't even pay attention or show me any catalog or sample to make choice. He just show me their companies sign on the wall and asked how is that? I said it's OK but can you show me other samples and information about materials. He take my papers and he said send your drawing to my email and he said he will call or text me. He didn't even spend 5 minutes with me. I wait for two weeks for him to call or Text. I texted him, called him but he didn't respond. Finally I text and said I will talk to his boss and he call me. But the way his talking was very rude. I said can you transfer my job to someone else you look too busy. He said another seller person will call. No body call me for one week until I reminded him again. Than Diego called ask my address. 3 times he give me appointment but he didn't come. He didn't even bother to text or call to inform me that he is not coming. Finally I called again and he said he will come next day. He come looked and take some information. I asked him did he bring any catalog to see he said he will text me. That day I make him talk to management to at least give them some information what kind of sign he will make. He get their email to ask. Next day I text and asked him but he didn't respond. After 2 days I texted him and asked him again. Finally he said he talked to the management and he will email or text me. Another 8 day pass no news. I don't know why they don't care my business. Is it too small or is it because I'm a Muslim business owner? But I don't care. Even if they will make me free I don't want their work. I don't work this kind of unprofessional and not serious companies. They waste my one month. Now I talked another company and my sign will be ready in one week. read more
