Odd amount to call about, but I was out of town and didn't call back right away. The next day I answered a call (that turned out to be from them) asking for someone else entirely. Assuming the number was possibly spam, I googled the number, saw it was Trove, and then emailed them directly, saying I understood I owed 33 cents and asking for an invoice. They corrected me. I actually owed $33, not 33 cents, they couldn't send an invoice by email, and wanted me to call and give my card info over the phone instead. After everything already off with this (the wrong number call, the 33-cent voicemail, no email invoicing), I didn't feel comfortable reading my card number to someone over the phone. I offered to stop by in person instead, and asked in advance if they could have a receipt ready showing my original 33 cent charge, so I wouldn't be making the trip for nothing. I rearranged my lunch break to make this happen and showed up as planned. No receipt. They said they'd emailed it, but I'd specifically asked for a printed copy, the least they could do given this was their error to begin with. That request took several days notice and still didn't happen. Their printer was "acting up," so I got no receipt for the original charge and none for the new $33 charge, either! An error on their end turned into a special trip, wasted time on my lunch break, and still no paperwork to show for any of it. Disappointing customer service, especially when the customer is the one who has to burn their own time fixing your mistake. Edited to add, following their reply: I was never contesting the dollar amount being charged. I was happy to pay for what I purchased. I stated that they asked me to call in my card over the phone. I addressed why I was uncomfortable with doing that, and had asked for a way to provide payment electronically. When that option was not available I offered to come in. My disappointment is that despite their error, the wrong amount owed left on my voicemail, a random "wrong number" phone call from them, and inability to accept payment over something like square invoicing / Venmo / etc., all I asked for was a printed receipt. If someone has to make time to come in and fix your error, it's the least you could have done. I'm now even more disappointed in them after this response.

My wedding is in October, and I came in with my fiancé specifically looking for a cute, short white dress for my second look. I remembered this store had a wedding section, so naturally I expected the staff to be helpful and understanding when I explained that I was a bride shopping for my wedding. Instead, I was completely dismissed and treated like I was an inconvenience. I found a dress I liked and was trying to find a size that might fit me when one of the sales associates approached me. Rather than actually listening to what I was looking for or acknowledging that I was a bride, she sent me across the store to a different dressing room. Because wedding dresses require clips, the associate helping me contacted the wedding section over the walkie to ask for clips. Nobody bothered to respond. She eventually had to walk across the store herself to ask, she came back to tell me they were brining it over and then after waiting another 5 min she was told that all of the clips were being used. At this point, I had already been waiting 15 minutes just to be able to try the dress properly and show my fiancé what it looked like. I finally told the associate that I just wanted to take the dress off because I was having an awful experience. And then it somehow got even worse. As my fiancé and I were WALKING OUT, the store manager had multiple employees following us out of the store. The way we were treated was absolutely humiliating and completely unnecessary. We were treated as though we were criminals or some kind of threat when we had literally walked into the store as a couple trying to shop for a wedding outfit. There was zero customer service, zero communication, and absolutely no effort to make a bride feel welcome. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and genuinely shocked by how poorly we were treated.

Also sizes aren't often the full scale or range available (if you're petite you're generally in luck). Pickup of online orders in store is pretty convenient. Employees are generally friendly but understandably that's harder during the big sales as you definitely get lots of people returning things from online purchases and it becomes a madhouse. Clothing has gotten more expensive over time and you can see that for sure in the Zara prices. I've tended to wait now for their semi annual sales for any pieces because I can add some good items for better prices, especially if you go towards the end of the sale with more markdowns. Hit and miss on sizing but depending on what you're prioritizing for saving money or needing something quick!

It wasn't super busy nor crowded which is great sometimes because congestion of people traffic may make our dining and shopping experience a bit hard to handle. We got to see the Disney+ Hulu Throwbacks Mini Mall Pop Up showcased in the huge courtyard. It brought back some nostalgia. Neat retro activity! We hit the food court first since we were starving. I spoke with supervisor and she argued that every place you order from does not refund the shipping charge. I order online all the time from many different stores and always have gotten full refund back. This place needs to state a $15 charge will be deducted for your return, not $5!!!!!! Very unhappy! In addition, the reason for the return was because I found the exact sweater at Macys for 50% off. The supervisor said all she could do was a price check if I sent her the ad from Macys but still would not be refunded the $15. Poor customer service.
