Technicians in the back on their phones and other techs just sitting around until we walked in. Not busy at all. Loved the interior and the huge wall of nail Polish color selections, but it stops there. We told the lady multiple times that we just wanted regular nail polish, but either she's hard of hearing or tuned is out. Maybe it was a gimmick to get us to spend more money, and pretend that she didn't hear us. Anyways, we finally sat down and got our nails painted. The lady that did mine was named Daisy I think, and she made my cuticles bleed, but did a more accurate job than my sisters... The owner of the salon, her name is Rainbow, and while she was friendly and talkative, seemed to brag about her salon, and it was such a turn off to me, to be honest...she was too chatty, and her service and quality in her nail technicians did not deliver... My sister's nail tech did the sloppy multi-coat job where you can clearly see the first, second and third layer and lines near the cuticle line...instead of doing it correctly, she left visible uneven polish lines on her nails... We weren't too happy with our experience here so we probably won't be returning...call it high standard, being picky, it's hard to find decent nail salons and techs these days. They do over referral incentives on Wednesday and Thursday and have a rewards program for earning points which is nice...

Cuticle trimming wasn't a trim, it was ripping. She didn't close the toll hardly at all and instead ripped the skin off which hurt SO BAD. When I said ow the lady said sorry and just stopped clipping instead of doing it properly. My pedicure lasted a total of 17 minutes, most of the time was spent painting. She hardly scrubbed my feet even though, ya know, the whole point of a pedicure is to get softer feet. Yeah my toes were painted fine but I could have done that myself AND the polish was old and thick. I came to get a decent pedicure, scrubbed feet, and cuticles clipped. Two weeks ago I got a full set with shellac and pedi done at Fancy Nails (by the way amazing), and my set is still looking fresh, so I wanted a manicure and color change with a deluxe pedicure. The lady started my pedicure by removing the nail polish and clipping my toe nails. She proceeded to clean under my nails, but with the wrong tool. She ended up stabbing my big toe underneath my nail bed, and instead of sanitizing it with alcohol she just dipped my foot in the water twice and continued asking me about what color I wanted. At this point, I didn't want her doing my pedicure and decided to leave. I should not be aware and knowledgeable of a nail techs' process and procedures more than them. My toe hurts, and it still bleeding. I'm rating them a two because they were still clean and in a good area, but the quality and skills of just the basic nail care is not up to par.

On the other hand, the female receptionist is very professional and pleasantly welcoming. 2. The nail technician who was assigned to provide services to me was surprisingly rude to me. She almost made me to want to walk out of the salon or never come back to this place. - I told her that I wanted to do an almond shape, French-tip manicure just like my co-worker had. After I showed her a photo on my phone, she began to say "Tay có chị không được thon dài, nên em chỉ có thể làm vậy thôi, chứ không được như vậy" "Em chỉ có thể làm hết sức" For your information, my real nails on that day were pretty long; she just needed to shape them exactly like the photos, which I don't think is a challenge at all for any licensed nail technician like herself. She made me feel ... bad about the looks of my hand. I don't think I need to have long, beautiful, perfect hands in order to deserve her services. Correct? - Then I started to tell her about my experience with a UV light I purchased from Target to use at home. I want to pay you for the services, just like how you paid the toll road company to drive pleasantly on their toll road systems. Does that make any sense? We pay to receive services; there is nothing wrong with that. Why am I getting such an unwelcoming attitude from a technician who doesn't want to do her job for me? I hope she understands this: Providing services to a Vietnamese person, someone who looks like you and who came from the same hometown as you did, does not make you inferior to anyone else. You provide the service I need, and I will pay you. We all need to make money and spend money to get what we need. I need my boss to pay me so that I can pay her for the services I cannot do myself. If she doesn't feel inferior providing services to a white female lady, why would she feel "uncomfortable" providing service to me? Are we the same kind, the same ethnicity, supposed to feel any "less" than any other ethnicity existing in this country? If you don't support your own kind, who would support you? If you cannot respect your own kind, who would respect you? Regarding the services she provided, it has been 7 days since Sept 13, and my nails have not chipped at all, no matter how many times I have washed my hands. And this is exactly why we need to come to a professional nail salon for treatment. We want durable nail services. Thank you for the remarkable service and skills she provided. However, fix your attitude and understand your importance to avoid hurting your customers' feelings when you could have made their days and yours better.
