I love BevMo because their selection is second to only good specialty wine shops. However, I've never been that impressed with thier prices. The 5 cent sale does soften the blow when you want to buy a ton of wine. And Hubby loves the beer selection because it's hard to find the craft beers he loves. You know what my dream come true would be? Locked inside Bev Mo, eating all the munchies and cheeses and drinking one glass of every bottle. Woo hooooooo! read more

This review is specifically about the BevMo Saturday wine tasting they have from 1pm - 4pm. For $2, Bevmo allows you to try 5-6 great tasting wines - and even revisit any special wines you love. Andrew, our wine connoisseur for the duration of the tasting, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There was no pressure to buy any bottle of wine, but they had such excellent choices that I ended up grabbing a bottle anyway. Finding $2 for 6 tastings is not a bad deal, even for "bad wines" (same price as two buck chuck!!!) read more

My best friend and his sister took me here once and I fell in love with this store. They have everything you can think of! I took my bf here once and he just enjoyed the store. They have whatever you're looking for and the prices are cheaper compare to most liquor stores. Love love love this store! read more

Smaller BevMo location, but they are well stocked. Lots of cool sodas to choose from along with beer, hard alcohol, snacks, and wine. The location may not be the easiest to find parking, but worth it if you're looking for a decent craft beer. Customer service was okay, but not amazing. If you're looking for a certain drink that you can't do without, give BevMo a try. read more

I went here today to check out the different kinds of beer they had here in the States, but was sad to not see a drink i was looking for. I bought something similar to it (Peach flavor beer). The store itself is quite big and carried loads of cool different alcoholic drinks. I saw a bong shaped vodka bottle that would be a really good present lol. The price of the drinks aren't cheap, but since it's rare to find different kinds of imported beer i suppose it'll do. There needs to be more BevMos around!! read more

Honestly, this place is sure handy if one doesn't want to visit a divey liquor store to get drinks for a party. I like coming here because not only is the wine affordable, the selection is awesome. Although I prefer going to my local wine shop (since it is independently owned), I come to BevMo! for the 5 cent wine sale. My friend and I were here last week and I walked out with a bottle of Syrah, Gewurztraminer, and an Asti Moscato for under 40 bucks. I could spend hours here because there is such a nice selection and it's fun! read more

A tad bit overated, but it is the closest one to me (I think maybe Brea a little more). But I have to be honest in saying I like the one in Rancho Cucamonga the best, they seemed to have more selections there & up the street is a Total Wine - another good place w/more selections to choose from too.. read more

Came here looking for my wine and found an awesome wine bottle cleaner for just $5. I like this place. I just wish that the price on international stuff was cheaper. I know it's international but it is not that much ! read more

They usually have everything I'm looking for at this location. Most of the staff is knowledgeable & the prices are decent. (I usually buy based on what's on sale, lol). The parking lot is of decent size (never hard to find a spot) & they share with another business - Office Max? (obviously I don't pay attention to what's there). I still have yet to be there when they have the tastings in the back :[ The one time I was there for it, it was only a few minutes until they were supposed to stop serving, but they still turned me away. :/ Really? read more

Used to be fine but not worth going anymore. Less choices than before and so many bottles are now locked up in cabinets. Why lock up cheap liquor (not even top shelf) so customers spend extra time waiting around for someone to unlock? Too inconvenient and not enough product offerings for shopping here. Staff was friendly. read more

They are doing pick up only, you can't shop in the store. Total Wine down the street has a better selection and let's you shop for yourself. I walked toward the store and before I even realized this the girl exclaimed if I could please put my mask on, I was not even close to her yet and had started asking if it was pick up only. Don't worry I don't need my mask because I'm not shopping at a store with such rude customer service, even once all this nonsense lifts. read more

I had a printed copy of a wine that I was looking for and Andrew checked the computer for inventory. Unfortunately, BevMo did not carry this wine (Sans Liege, The Offering) but Andrew suggested Orin Swift's D 66 based on my pick. This was a funny coincidence because the wine that I was looking for was recommended to me based on me liking Orin Swift's Palermo. I ended up buying Palermo on this trip as well. We also got some 5 cent deals since we're having a gathering at our house. Not on this trip but we also come here for their great selection of beers, tequila, rum, & vodka. read more

They make it so hard to shop during this epidemic. You must have a reservation and they can change it at will. I've wasted so much time picking out the different wines only to be told that they cannot fill it for some reason. I'm done. No more bevmo for me. I'll be supporting local wine shops from now on. read more

Great customer service and love the tastings! For a small donation that they give to charity you can learn about a new wine or two. Travis did an excellent job! read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would ! Came in looking for some El Tesoro Reposado, we didn't see it in the shelves so we decided to ask for some assistance, 1. no one even bothered to ask if we needed anything since the beginning so here we go asking finally someone comes up they say they don't have it and that he's gonna check in the back we turn around to look more stuff and when we look the employee is literally restocking shelves after just telling us he's looking in the back.... Every employee just kept passing by and looking at us weird still not offering any type of help, we decided to put our stuff back ( some mini bottles we had gotten ) and as I hand them over to the employee and told her she could put these back she looked at me like I was crazy.. mad dogged me too to and didn't say anything at all and just looked away... service here is terrible everyone looks like they hate being there even if they're getting paid to do it... and as you can see from past reviews this isn't the first time the whole location and staff is f- terrible !! Rosemead location is wayyyy better ! read more

Clueless and Careless!! I went early this morning; I believe I was the only one in the store. I asked the guy behind the counter where the champagne was. He did not know so he looks in a book and points me to the back of the store. Wrong, I finally find it on the side of the store. When I am checking out I ask where the disinfectant is. He says they are out and made no effort to look for more. Can you image how many hands are touching items in the store before buying? So, he was not just clueless he was also careless. read more

Came here on 10/12/22 with a few min to spare before closing (Needed a bottle of blue label for a bday). Noticed the door was locked and so I knocked since I saw customers inside. Worker approached the window and asked if I was a delivery guy. I said no, that I just need 1 bottle. He said the were closed, it was 8:59 by the time he got there. No empathy or anything. Worst service ever. read more

I LOVE BEVMO! They have such a huge selection of beer, wine, and other types of alcohol. If you're looking for a specific alcohol, they most likely have it here. If you're not sure what you want, BevMo is still a great place to go. I'm not super educated in types of alcohol (what's good vs. not good), so BevMo is great because it's super organized. I love walking down their aisles and looking at all the cool and unique options they have. They have some great stuff that I usually can't find at a normal supermarket. Also, the workers there are really friendly and helpful if you ever have any questions. In addition to their wonderful selection, their prices are pretty reasonable too. Make sure to join ClubBev! (it's free to join) for discounts! read more

Omg this store sucks ass! I've orders from them sooo many times you could probably call me a functioning alcoholic. I've ordered delivery and pick up, had someone pick up for me, including my sister and my husband. Most of the time they never have the order ready by the time I get there, my order tends to be large so ok I cut them slack. Today I placed a 300$ order online. Delivery was not available so my sister went to pick up the order which has happened many times in the past, the order was payed for and she shows ID and picks it up. Today she was told that she needed to provide the credit card used to place the purchase... umm what? The deliver people (complete strangers) pick up the order all the time!!! And my sister and husband have also picked up my orders multiple times. Today they turned my sister away and said they need both the credit card used to make the purchase and the matching ID! What???!!! New policy? Either that or the store has been fucking up for the last 2yrs. So ridiculous. Never shopping here again. read more

I remember when this place used to be a toy store. Or was it a hobby store? I think it was a hobby store. You know, the kind of hobby store where you can buy a model rocket for you to burn your finger firing it off or get a RC car and torment the neighbors cat.... not that I ever did that because I never had an RC car. Model rockets on the other hand... I never burned myself though. Anyway.... the hobby store closed down and one day when I was walking by the store front on my way to Staples (which shares the building) I notice the liquor/business to sell liquor sign on the window. I stopped and saw "Beverages & More". I don't remember if I was familiar with BevMo back then, but I definitely am now. It's 4:45 PM Friday night. I'm about to leave for Culver City to supposedly meet up with JQ for pre-Royal/T Elite Holiday Party drinks and/or appetizers. And I needed to bring something. Well, I didn't NEED to, but I wanted to. I decided wine would one of the easiest things to get. And this BevMo is just up the street from the start of the 110, which is what I needed to take on my way to Culver City. I've been here several times before for gifts or whenever I needed (or wanted) to get some wine. I even came here one time when I was looking for some small glasses for a dessert parfait I was making for a party, but everything was too big. Anyway, typically the safest wine to get when you don't know the potential receiver's preferences, a cabernet sauvignon is pretty safe. And with a $10 "limit" set by the CMs, I knew that wouldn't be a problem. BevMo offers a lot of the high end wines, but they also have a ton of wines for less than $20 and even less than $10. I walked in and immediately went for the cabs. It took me a few minutes but I found a cab (I forgot the winery) that was a gold medal winner from Wine Spectator magazine for $7.49. I also picked up a gift bag, paid and was on my way. The staff is friendly but more times than not, you have to go look and ask for help instead of them periodically offering as they make their rounds. Well, pretty much everybody seems to be always doing something. There doesn't seem to be a moment where they have "down time". I'm not sure if it's every weekend or select weekends, but on Saturdays they have small wine tastings of a featured winery for a few bucks. I actually haven't done one of those. They also have a lot of domestic and imported beers, liquor and spirits, as well as snacks, nuts and chips. It's practically a one stop shop for all of your drinking/entertaining needs if you are not looking for a particular beer or wine. read more

Well, came here to get some alcohol. This place is awesome... I mean who doesn't like a store filled with alcohol... all the wine and beer? Haha. The staff is super helpful and are quick to help. I even had some questions pertaining to a particular vodka (espresso vodka) and suggestions of what could be used with it other than a shot by itself or kahlua. So, I was pleasantly surprised by the suggestions and whatnot. Whenever I need to buy stuff, this is my first choice since the selection is enormous! You might not know what you're looking for, but you'll definitely find it and more here! read more

Thank you Bevmo for wasting my f@cking time today. God this is what is so wrong with corporate America and the like. The only reason I came here was because I had found out that they sold a very old school beer named "Olympia" here. I found out from there website. Now I live in El Monte and this is the only Bevmo near me. So I called and of course the first time they hung up on me. So I called again, this time they transferred me to the "Beer Department" and they said yeah we have it. So off I went to pick up a twelve pack of Olympia Beer to give to a friend of mine as a gift. Of course when I got there "NO OLYMPIA BEER" Yeah they looked around for it and said they were sorry. This place has shit piled to the f@cking ceiling. Maybe it's the 5cent wine sale crap. Either way this is exactly why this wino would NEVER EVER buy wine from a corporation like this. They probably don't know shit from shynola about 90% of the stuff in there store not to mention the way they purchase and store the products on the shelves is questionable at best. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Spend the extra freakin $2.00 buck you would of saved and buy from a reputable Wine Merchant. No "Cheers" Today I would rather throw my glass at them. read more

Bev Mo is the: "oh crud I forgot I am having a party type of place". They have everything from glassware to snacks, wine beer, soda, liquor, cheese, etc etc. Its a party haver's olne stop paradise. But it has no soul. Its literally like a staples. The people who work there don't know anything and are prolly to young to drink. But such is life. The Soda selection is amazing. Lots of varied and interesting craft rewed soda. The beer selection is good, some bottles of things I'd not seen anywhere else in a long time. All in all a cool place to stock up. But not someplace you wanna spend time in checking out. Parking at this location is plentiful. read more

My own personal Narnia... It's like a candy store for Alcoho-Licks...(I'm not I swear..I had to calm down on drinking when I was 13) When Trader Joe's comes up short...I come here for my wine fixins... ((pay attention))) $ 1-5 Wine Tasting on Saturdays from 1-4pm It's not a typo...last saturday I paid $1 for 6 wines...3 whites (prosecco, sauv blanc, (? forgot the other one), malbec, syrah, bordeaux... Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable...sometimes you have to flag one of em down towards you...but they will take their time in helping you find what you need. They do offer high end wines $$$...but I find that some of the wines under $10 ((GET A BEVMO CARD)) are pretty darn good...plus if you're unsure ..they have little cards that pretty much give a little back ground info on the wine..also...you can ask the staff for recommendations... I'm pretty sure, some of you know what bevmo is like...Only reason why I'm really writing this review is...$1-5 WINE TASTING..starts at 1pm...and if you think that's too early for wine...well...just think..its 5pm somewhere... read more

I did a drive by yesterday - wondering if I should pick up some wine for a dinner coming up at Ruth Chris next weekend...but then I stopped myself. My wine fridge is over 1/2 full with stuff we picked up in Napa as well as my bidding with online wine auction sites (Jarvis, Paul Hobbs, Buccella, etc). I continued past it without stopping - trying to prevent myself from friendly interaction with the Bevmo employees - preventing myself from spending more money on yummy goodies inside. *waving* See you soon after I drink some of the wines in my fridge at home! read more

My bf has gotten really into IPA's lately and was talking about how he had tried the Knuckle Sandwich a few weeks ago. Thus, we went on the hunt to find some nice India Pale Ales.. Make that a double. Now, walking into the store made me sorta nervous cuz they had racks on racks on racks of wine and I was scared I might bump into one with my big ol purse lol luckily no accident! Found my way to the beer section and they had a whole aisle designated for IPA's of all kinds! I love how they have the manufacturers notes (hops, bitter, malt, yadayada) on the price label which makes it so much easier to figure out which one to get AND tells you if it's DOUBLE IPA which is what I'm looking for! I even found a triple! What!?? Left here a happy customer with 3 different bottles of dbl IPA's. The only con I see here is that some of the hard liquor is priceyyyy! I know other places who sell it (Hennessy for example) for almost half of what they had tagged it here. read more

Why should you check out Beverages & More? 1. You're going to need a fully stocked bar at home if you're going to entertain Yelpers. 2. Beer Chips are the new Pork Rinds? 3. 5cent Wine Sale (I'm looking at you, KC O.) 4. Extensive number of bottled rootbeers to try. 5. A large and plentiful selection of all types of party-inducing alcohol to choose from. 6. Cheese with your wine. 7. Faygo. 8. Sparkling wine if like drunk bubbles and don't like tannins. Whatever the reason, BevMo's gonna help you out to keep the good times rolling. Drinks and nibbles. Rewards Card. Decent parking lot. Generally friendly employees. I approve. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with BevMo. I love that they have a good selection of alcohol. I mean, c'mon, they'd have to.. or else it would be false advertising... though, honestly, I've never paid attention to the "more" they might have in there. Their prices are decent and if you tell them you can get a certain wine/liquor, etc... for cheaper at (name other liquor store), they'll match the price. I hate that it feels dirty/dingy. It really does. It's kinda dark and musty and... just well.. not a great SHOPPING experience. The one thing I absolutely ADORE about BevMo is that you can place an order online and they'll have it waiting for you when you get there. There's a seperate pick-up area, so you don't have to wait in line, and they bring it out to your car for you! This is an especially useful service if you have to order several cases of wine for an event/party/or general drunken debauchery. They're also exceptionally helpful on the phone, when I needed a recommendation for a great wine, but not too pricey, for said event. I will continue to go to BevMo for events/parties, etc., especially when I can just place my order online, run in and pick it up, and not have to actually SHOP in the dingyness. Otherwise, for my personal alcohol consumption needs, I'll go elsewhere. read more

The staff is super nice and always willing to help you finding what you need to get. I've always loved the service I've received every time I actually asked for it. Make sure you sign up for a BevMo card if you don't have one to rack up points. Also, if you're there with a few friends, in order for the check out process to be faster and for them not to card ALL of you, just have one person handle the alcohol and the paying. They have a huge parking lot, so parking should be a cinche. read more

It seems that whenever I'm trying to escape from or get into Pasadena using the 110, I sort of have to stop by this BevMo! I can't actually remember when the last time I actually bought some alcohol here. Though I did once find a rare sight of some bootlegger's knuckle sandwich in one of their first release of it. So hey, there's that rare gem. Over all, this one is decent sized, they have a good selection of craft beer while also having all the staples that any kegger needs. I do like their selection of bourbons and whiskey and for a brief time they had a good soda selection. Not sure what exactly happened to all those. The prices, well they're usually pretty consistent and every now and then you'll find that one rare sale priced item like the Oktoberfest beer can in its own liter glass for a solid 8 bucks or so. Yeah, that was a good day. I have had issues with my Bevmo card here whenever I've tried to buy anything in that it never recognizes me as being me or even having a card. I dunno. Also, their hours are god awful. What sort of self respecting place that sells alcohol closes at around 9 every day? And Sundays is the worse. Oh well, it'll get you where you need to go at a decent price and good selection. Also near the 110, so your quick get away is easy... that is if Pasadena P.D. didn't put up a DUI check point here like they normally do. Fuckin' putos. read more

BevMo is already in my good graces because they sell 42 Below vodka. I can pirouette down the vodka aisle and pluck it from the shelf as if i was carefully picking fruit from a tree. they also sell every flavor vodka and had smirnoff on special (im mixing with it. don't judge me). Also, when you are in a rush to get to say, a friend's gathering, its always good to have plenty of beer that is already chilled (Trader Joe's lets me down horribly on this front). prices are aiight. they have all the mixers you need there as well. the store was clean, and the staff was pleasant (i didn't need any assistance so i cannot say if they are knowledgeable or not). its a store dedicated to booze - thats like 15 different kinds of awesome!! They have jumped on the member/club card band-wagon but at least here after you spend a certain amount you get a discount off your next purchase. Throw a couple parties and you'll rack up the coupons in no time. read more

Oh BevMo.. I do love you so. This location is a little smaller than most BevMos that I've been to, so the selection isn't quite as good - but it's still BevMo, so you'll likely find whatever your heart desires. I was on my way home from visiting friends and stopped by this location because of its super convenient spot on Arroyo right near the 110 freeway. Parking is in a decent sized lot, so yay for that. Besides the smaller size, the reason I gave this BeMo 4 stars instead of 5 is that they only had two people working there (at least, I only saw two people the whole time I was there), and there was a constant stream of customers so it was really difficult for them to be able to help out people on the floor. When I did get help from one of the employees, she was super nice and was enthusiastic and helpful with suggestions for alcohol for my upcoming party - so props for that! If you live in Pasadena, this BeMo will definitely fit your needs - woo alcohol! read more

My go to place when I need something to bring to birthdays, anniversaries, holiday parties etc. Who doesn't like some alcohol! Nice and clean location. Convenient parking out front as well.
