What a relief from my other experience at the BevMo on Foothill in Pasadena. This one had 3 different gift card designs and good service. They were nice and very helpful. Not to mention just at a glance, this location had a better selection. The layout is better and there is a good selection of food/cheeses/gift wrap to complement the alcohol purchased. Come to this location..seriously instead. read more

BevMo! - Love Squirt - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Pasadena, California

Terrible. I was there last month after a hike. I brought a 6 pack of my favorite beer you cant find in Chicago, Widmer Heff, to the counter. I didn't have my license but had a picture of my passport. They refused to sell an overpriced 6 pack to a 55 year old man. Next day I went to Trader Joe's and gave them my business. Zero stars. read more

Pretty average BevMo in my opinion. They didn't have a great selection of whisky so I ended up going elsewhere to find what I was looking for. I was also browsing for quite some time and no one came up to ask if I needed help looking for something. The store was pretty empty and I had to walk through all the aisles to find an employee to ask them if they had a specific whisky. read more

They have such a huge variety, that I can wonder aimlessly from one aisle to the next. This particular location is my go to to purchase birthday, Christmas, etc, presents. They usually have unique and hard to find items here. Pricing is also very competitive, especially if you are BevMo member. You will definitely find me here during their 5 cents sale (for the second bottle). Not all brands are included, and I really wish they would consider putting Stella Rosa sometimes. I will buy so much more! Although, they a do have a very good selection of Malbec, Riesling, and sweet red wine. Parking can be complicated since the place is popular. Service is always great. You will definitely find someone that will be more than happy to help you. I am a little disappointed since they don't carry Nuvo anymore. Anywho, I think I'll manage to survive with the amazing selection that they have. read more

Inventory in beer and seltzer's lacking and staff today not very helpful or happy. First time coming to this BevMo and this happening. The staff at mission wine and spirits are consistently outstanding and inventory pretty good and prices fair and sometimes better. But the wine selection at BevMo is much better. read more

I went in at 8:41 pm on 12/21/21.. went in with a group of friends to purchase acouple of NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES and 1 ALCOHOL BERVAGE (1st and Foremost , I would NEVER purchase any alcoholic beverages for a minor(s).) Dean (the cashier) explained to us since one of my friends was a minor (who was 18 btw) we couldn't be sold the Alcoholic beverage , so we canceled out the Alcoholic beverage and proceeded with purchasing the NON ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES , only to be told by 1 associate , it's not permitted to sell us the drinks even though they're NOT alcohol. Mind you both me and my friend were both above the age of 25 , even when presented an I.D. so they can verify they still refused. We asked for the manager (Micheal was his name) seemed like he didn't want to be there AT ALL his attitude towards us and the issue at hand was completely RUDE!! We asked as to why they couldn't sell us the NON ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.. He said it was Bev-mo / go puff's policy not to... He continued stating that since the minor was with us he couldn't sell us drinks , EVEN after the fact that I told him WE DIDNT WANT ANY ALCOHOL, just the sodas and snacks... NOPE ! He asked me in a impolite way "would you like me to call me manager and ask?".. I replied , yes. He rolled his eyes , took out his phone and with a unpleasant attitude towards it all , calls his manager (Who's name was Tony) , ONLY to totally misconstrue the story at hand.. I ASK , Okay ... can you ask your manager(Tony) (who's on the phone) may we still purchase the sodas and snacks without the Alcohol.. the person on the phone asks..."are they over 21?" I said "I'm 27 ! " ...still said no ... REALLY ?!?!?! FOR ACOUPLE OF SODAS AND A CHOCOLATE BAR !?!? This was really unprofessional for both the person in charge and manager to act that way..I can understand the Alcoholic beverage and the minor being present , hence why I decided to cancel out the 1 Alcoholic beverage. But to not sell something that's NON ALCOHOLIC... IS quite ridiculous imo. That guy Micheal, WELL let's just say IF I wasn't in a nicer mood , he would've needed much more than a bandage.. The cashier Dean , im sorry for you having to work with a bunch of morons ! Micheal *COUGH ! Keep up that great attitude and most of all continue to stay HUMBLE ! read more

Nice selection of wines. Friendly staff. But time after time, the beer is SKUNKED. Beers have sell by dates and this store seems to like selling beers that are well past their expiration dates. I was waiting in line and a old gentleman told me what I was waiting in line for and I said I wanted to go inside the store so I can get a few things and he told me that I can't go inside and I looked at the sign couple times before I told him the sign says 1 person at a time and he said only for people that are paying and I started to argue with him saying that it dosent say that and he said well that's what it means and walked away I want to talk to a manager and tell them to make it more clear and how rude he treats his customers I would be mad too if I was old as him working at a place like that for my career read more

This is a pretty typical BevMo. Each store has a slightly different layout, but they all have a large selection of beer, wine, liquor, and liqueurs. My "go to" BevMo location. Their phone number is stored in my phone :) Sometimes it's a little hard to make the left turn into the place but it's pretty easy to get in and out of here. Very adequate parking. Never had trouble getting a spot. Cigars on the left as you walk in. Soda pop to the right. Great selection, good prices. They usually have what I want or need. They've been very helpful in locating & ordering hard to get items. They have a large selection of the little "airline size" liquor bottles. Staff is helpful, friendly & efficient. They always package and/or box up my purchases so it's easy to carry out. read more

My Yelp friend Michael P told me about Tito's vodka. He said it had no preservatives or added sugar. I was surprised to learn that other vodkas contained them in the first place. BevMo offers a wide selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. It also houses cheese, snack items, drink ware and other party items. Tito's vodka is $28.99 for 1.75 liter. Sky vodka was $20 for a 1.75 liter. Sign up f or frequent flyer is painless and instant. read more

My second time in The store this week bc I wanted to return a giant bottle I didn't end up using at a party. Problem was, I couldn't find the receipt anywhere! I was hoping for an exchange if I couldn't get a refund but after hearing about the receipt Katie the store manager went to her computer and looked it up (I remembered the date, time, amount). After a couple minutes of searching she hit gold and told me I could get a full refund. Props to her for putting the work in and helping me out. As for the store- it's not the biggest bevmo but the staff here is always asking if I need any help even if they're already working on some task. If they cant help or answer a question they'll direct me to someone who can. Great! read more

I went in to check out the hard cider and seltzer selection - I had seen that SMOOJ - a seltzer/smoothie bev that I had purchased elsewhere was available at the location on Arroyo. They didn't have Strawberry/Banana but they did have Pina colada so I picked it up as well as an Angry Strawberry cider - paid and left. When I got home I noticed the Best by date on the cider was May'22. Yesterday when I went to try the seltzer the Best by date was April'22. That means that both bev's I purchased in June were already past there best by dates. Be aware! read more

What can I say? I love me some BevMo! They have almost everything that you can dream about - either on hand or that they can order, or send you to a different location. They have a great selection of craft beers even the hard to find ones. Picked up some Firestone Double DBA Barreled Imperial Special Bitter 2014 and they had plentiful. The beer was truly the best I have ever had. It cannot compare to any IPAs. It's in a league all by itself. They carry seasonal beers and my favorites, "Knee Deep" Simtra and Ballast Point "Dorado" Wish Stone would allocate them some Russian River though. read more

Clean, well organized BevMo. They recently remodeled. Inside was a little different but I could barely tell. Huge selection of everything liquor related you can imagine. Parking lot is big. Turning left to leave can be a struggle. Be careful turning right because you could end up on the 110. Came in to do the 2-5 pm tasting but the price and deal went up. The tasting used to be $2 or free if you spend $10. Now its $5 or free if you spend $20. Still a pretty good deal but not what it used to be. read more

Close location to my hotel i stay at regularly every time i go down to the LA area (sheraton pasadena). Less than a mile and a half away. Super convenient. Granted it is a small store compared to some other BevMo's ive been to, or in comparison to some of the larger liquor stores I have in Vegas avail to me, but they did carry the wine i was looking for (yes they dont carry it in Vegas, had to get it in BevMo). Luckily it is one of those that is buy one, get second for 5 cents specials :D So picked up 6 bottles for $60 + tax. One thing i never heard of before though is that during checkout on my visit, the cashier told me they were saving boxes for those who were buying by the cases... Do they have a shortage of boxes or something? Luckily the cashier made an exception for me because i needed a box to hold the bottles for the drive back. Would be horrible to have wine bottles in a back, in the back of a SUV. What a nightmare that could turn into x_x read more

They may not have the cheapest liquor around, but they have what you're looking for, and at a decent price. This was my first time trying the Bev Mo wine tasting. It was really great. Can't believe how many wines (9, I believe it was today) we we allowed to sample for $2. Yes, I did say $2! Plus if you are there in the first two hours there is also cheese, crackers, and other tasty snacks to accompany the wines. What a great way to make sure you like what you buy. And it was a good thing, because there were quite a few that I didn't enjoy; however, the Renwood Zinfandel was delicious. What a nose! At $24.99 with a second bottle for 5 cents (just during this current 5 cent sale) it is a great deal! Can't wait until tonight to see if my friends enjoy this wine as much as I did. I'll definitely be returning to squeeze myself into that little tasting room for their next event. read more

It was recently renovated inside and I like the store upgrades. The tasting section is more noticeable now which is a good thing. It's not the cheapest place, but it's near my home and they like to send me coupons, which makes it easier to keep the bar stocked. The cider selection is decent which I appreciate. Bevmo is decent. In order to get better prices you have to sign up for their free membership, which is really no big deal. The reasons I'm only giving 3 stars are 1) the pricing, and 2) the selection. Most of their prices are pretty high, and even are comparable to liquor store prices. Kind of silly to go to a place that specializes in alcohol and not get a good price. I don't expect them to be at Costo-level prices because they don't have the same buying power, but should certainly be better than the liquor store down the street. Their wine is most certainly overpriced as well. I could overlook the price issue if they had a better selection. Their hard alcohol selection is good, and I can't complain about it especially since they have Russian Standard vodka. Gotta love it. I do, however, have a big problem with their beer selection. While it may look like they have a lot, most of it can be found in any supermarket, for the same price. Their "craft beer" selection is pretty weak too, although, they often have a few choices of local breweries, but not much. Makes a beer lover sad. The Whole Foods up the street actually has a WAY BETTER craft and imported beer selection and better prices. I've started shopping there for beer instead of Bevmo :( read more

thank you for taking your phone off the hook to avoid having to answer your phone. Had you answered the phone it would have saved me from driving across town only to find that you don't carry the product. Basically tried calling the store to see if they had a certain product in stock which a website showed they did. For a good half hour after pressing 0 their message was that they were on the other line. After awhile I tried calling again and didn't even get the voice prompt. Basically the line was busy. Get to the store and ask for said product which he tells me they don't carry anymore and the website is incorrect. Wouldn't it make sense to change it? So I see two employees standing around not busy. I ask cashier if they are having issues with their phone line. He said no but someone kept calling. Delivery prices are obscene. And everything shows up warm, even super common beers. I won't be ordering from them again.

Went to this BevMo for the convenience of having it near by...I can say that their customer service is below average.. I asked for help with finding a certain beer but they were clueless as to where it was, but yes they did carry it. Then I get in line with cashier, Dean, who did not ID anyone before me..but asks me for proof of age, ok flattering...but if you're going to enforce the policy make sure it is followed through on all customers. Don't pick and choose- I walked out of the store to my vehicle grab the Id- come back in and he makes me wait...never experienced a dry personality from other cashiers at BevMo (other locations). I came here to buy some alcohol for my husband's birthday party. The store is very clean and I was greeted as I walked in the store. Everything was fully stocked and organized. I was able to find exactly what I came in for with ease. I was helped promptly at the register. The person working at the register was very friendly. He rung me up quickly and even boxed up my items. He also talked to me about different whiskeys he has tried and made it seem like I was more than just another customer, which is always a nice gesture. I usually shop at the Whittier location but this one seems to be better organized and has much friendlier employees. I would definitely come here again for all my adult beverage needs! read more
