Woman that works behind the counter is insane. They had bouquets out for sale and she claimed they weren't for sale. She tried to order me around to put one of the items back I didn't want, then yelled at randoms in the store to "get me" when I left the store with no items because I was tired of dealing with her attitude and decided not to purchase anything. The white haired woman behind the counter has some screws loose and shouldn't be working in a customer service job. Also why put out flowers to sale not to sell them. read more

My last visit to this place was very uncomfortable. The cashier was making racist remarks. He was telling me he would pay me to give him a massage because I was Chinese. It's really unprofessional and it was communication that was totally unsolicited. Even when I made it clear I wasn't interested in participating with that sort of interaction, he kept insisting by offering More and more money as if the amount was the issue. He clearly was being rude. I didn't feel safe. The intent turned almost sexual in nature and I literally just wanted to pay and get out. I ended up not buying what I came in for which is unfortunate. Wanted to buy a bag of chips and the worker tried to charge me an additional 50 cents. The price is written on the bag. She said its store policy to charge 50 cents for anything under 5$. I have no idea how they are able to pull this off without upsetting customers. Bye forever. read more

My go to lottery vendor. Blank lottery forms conveniently located near entrance with pen attached by chain. Good parking, near 99 cents store, and they sell other stuff like candy, fidget spinners, and racing forms. But, sometimes there are some sleazy things and people going on. read more

A lot of their products shouldn't even be on the shelf. On more than 3 ocassions, I've came in to see that the product I wanted was expired by years! I went it to buy a simple Snickers bar and it was expired (not produced) in July of 2017!! I guarantee you this place gets shut down on their next inspection. So dusty and unsanitary. Stopped by this store to get a quick snack. Gave the cashier a $20 bill my total was 3.96 and she gave me back $4 in change. She walked away and then I told her she owed me more than this because I gave her a 20. She gave me $10 more and as I started to walk away I realized she still owed me $2.04. She then gave me the last two dollars after multiple attempts at figuring this out. And although 4 cents isn't much, she rounded the price and didn't give me the change. Never coming back here again. I can only imagine how many people this woman has done this to. read more

I have been here and they have a wide selection of items to choose from.I think its one of the liquor stores i like to visit because they usually have everything in stock.Prices are maso/menos(so,so),not too expensive but not the cheapest.This place is not as bad as it may look. read more

The rude jerk will charge you Credit Card Convenience Fees when it is ILLEGAL to do so. My purchase was for a Debit Card and it was over $10.00 and he still charged me. He was very rude to about it when I questioned him. I reported him to Visa, my bank and to the Attorney General. So if you are in CA and 9 other states (look it up), remember they can't charge you a "convenience fee". read more

This is a very basic liquor store with a shady crowd. The food and snacks are mostly generic and unimpressive. The beer selection is decent. The people that frequent this store, besides me, are pretty poor and probably not reading this review, lol. read more

Gotta boost Simon's ratings here. Very nice guy and he runs a pretty tight ship. One of my pet peeves in these sort of stores is the lack of prices marked. At least the sale stuff in Tropic says so. Went in yesterday with my older daughter. We both got separate stuff. We both put our stuff on the counter but in separate piles. The cashier charged me for both. When I told him her stuff wasn't mine, he said why don't you just pay for it! Pissed off I raised my voice and he ended up finally refunding me the $4.50 he overcharged me. He proceeds to charge my daughter for the exact same things he refunded to me. But now it wasn't $4.50 it was $5.53! When I asked him why the price changed he said in broken English, 'IT IS EXPENSIVE' I had to just leave and not buy anything from there again.nor will I return there. read more
