Nice liquor store but if you're paying with your card the guy will just add random charges to your card, he did it to me twice and I caught on the second time when I added everything together. Just be careful... Charges $0.69 to use your card but when you add up the prices of the drinks which I did when I bought it came out to over 1.50 more. I also like Drive In Liquor Store. I used to shop here sometimes back in the days when I lived in Monrovia. They have good selection of beers, wines, liquors. I like the food in here too, Other than alcohol. People are always lined up for lottery tickets too. They are not far from the racetrack. I was forced to use the kiosk to buy the lottery tickets. I don't play often so I am not too familiar with the machine. I put in $40 for 20 Powerball tickets. The machine printed out the ticket, I grabbed it, and left. I checked the numbers while I was in my car and realized that there were only 10 tickets printed. That's when I realized that the kiosk printed two separate sheets of 10s. I went back in to check, but didn't find my other tickets. Someone behind me took it. I guess you can say it is my fault for not checking before leaving, but this could've been avoid had the owner helped me. There was a line and I didn't want to hold people up. I've bought tickets at the counter in the prior month without issue. I will be going to a different merchant in the future. read more

Great guy! Came in found a wine bottle for a gift for a friend and store clerk gave me a gift bag and add a bow on the bottle. I was in and out of there in less than 5 minutes. Super fast customer service. Wish I had more time to check out more of the selections. Looked like they had a great wine selection. I'll be back when I'm in this neighborhood again. This liquor store is on my route home from work. I stop there whenever I'm low on cold ones and I don't want to go too far out of my way. They have a decent selection of beer in the cold case. They have the usual suspects, along with quite a few microbrews, including Stone and Speakeasy. The clerk actually went out of his way to show me some Speakeasy Double Daddy four packs he'd just unloaded in the backroom. That was nice of him. He takes the time to notice his customers' beer preferences. This is the kind of liquor store where you'll find the guy behind the cash register sneaking a smoke and daring you with a droopy-eyed stare to say something about it. Yeah, my kind of place. The prices are what you'd expect at any corner liquor store. If you want a bargain, you'll have to go to BevMo. Sidenote: Why is THAT GUY always hanging around in front of EVERY liquor store? Purchased a bottle of liquor at this store, used my debit card. I have never used my debit card at any other place than grocery stores, home depot, etc. The guy took my card, had it for a few seconds, returned it to me. I could not see what he did with my card because I was looking at the pin pad, punching in my pin#. The next afternoon, I receive an alert from my bank that someone made a purchase online. It was not me. The clerk at this liquor store was the only person besides me that had my card in their hands and had the opportunity to see the security # on the back of my card. BEWARE! DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD HERE. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY A CRIMINAL IS WORKING HERE TAKING YOUR CARD INFORMATION AND MAKING FRAUDULENT CHARGES. My bank said that liquor stores are one of the places this type of criminal activity happens because it is too easy for them to get your card number and security # on back of card. read more

Ample amount of parking but the person who helped me out was rude. I went in looking for a calling card for my mom to call to Asia. He made it seem like I couldn't pronounce "Asia." I was born here and I have absolutely no Asian accent but he was really rude to me saying where where where when I clearly said Asia and then elaborated on the specific country. read more

This was the scariest liquor store I have been too. The store owner was objectifying and I was actually scared he was going to abuse me. He was the biggest ass and it was the worst service I have ever received. He accused us of having fake ID's because they were out of state. He then basically threatened to throw me out and followed me to the car. We raced to unlock my car and drive away as fast as possible. I was actually fearing my safety. Do not go here unless accompanied by police. He also had a scary face. Women, do no go here unaccompanied. Screw the patriarchy. read more
