BevMo is like a treasure hunt for the best and most interesting beverages. Anytime I pretend I'm a mixologist, this is the place I go to. I go in knowing only the ingredients I need, and come out feeling like a connoisseur, like I'm that high end bartender in the back who makes his own mixers. It's the place where you can get a $200 bottle of whisky or a box of cheap wine. They carry just about everything, have knowledgeable staff, and I've yet to get a bottle I did not finish. read more

I came in here to check out what kind of tequila they sold. I wanted to experience the same quality and variety I did like when I visited Jalisco, Colima, and Mexico City, but sadly I was disappointed. They have various selections of tequila. But the prices are very high. For those of us that collect tequilas like the finest wines in Napa Valley, paying high prices is part of the game. I normally do not go to Bev Mo but I thought I would give it a try. I visited the one in Covina buy the Target and Walmart. My brother had bought wine there on one of his visits to this Bev Mo and wanted me to pick more of the same kind up. As I entered, I saw the wine display to the right so I proceeded to go get the wine. I did not find it so I asked the clerk who was stocking the wine if there was more. She looked around and said, "I don't see any". I then asked if there were any other wines like the one I was looking for. She then says hmmm...I don't know. I then proceeded to ask another clerk who was also in the wine section, and he said, "I don't know". And this is why I do not shop at Bev Mo. I've gone to another place (i won't mention the name) but they also sell wine along with every other type of alcohol you can think of, and they are ALWAYS so knowledgeable & helpful. Not only do they know their wines but their whiskeys and probably everything else in the store. I then asked for pomegranate juice and again, now a different clerk said I don't think we sell that. Well I go look in the juice isle and low and behold there it is! The only thing good about this store was the woman at the check out. I used to order frequently from GoPuff, my last two orders in a row I made one night never arrived at my doorstep. After several attempts to get a refund, customer service just kept saying it was marked as "delivered" and couldn't do anything about it. They obviously dropped the orders at the wrong house, I had asked several times for photo proof of the deliveries which they could not provide. Shady and unfortunate, considering I've been using this service for almost two years at that point. Never again will I use GoPuff or will have anything to do with BevMo anymore. read more

We needed some champagne, some Moscato, some beer, some cabs, and most importantly Chambord for my 4 year old's birthday party... Yeah, I know, I know, it's his party but the adults had to have fun, too. While the price of the beer was slighy more expensive than say Walmart, it was oh so convenient to order everything online and have it waiting for me at a pick up time I chose. I got there just as they were opening and showed my confirmation email and ID, and I got a cart loaded with my order. It couldn't have been any easier. The only thing is, if you want a specific wine, like my wife did, you have to place your online order more than 24 hours in advance. But for in stock, top shelf liquors, there's no easier way to shop...unless they deliver... Oh wait, they do, but you pay! Man is it expensive... SMH read more

For starters, Bevmo's pricing is always higher than Total Wine's but fortunately they price match...or so I thought. I'd appreciated the policy until today when a manager claimed they could only match within a 30 mile radius & we were only 12 miles from the comparison store in question, same exact bottle & in stock. June 27, 2014 This place is just like the one in the Walnut/Industry area's Bevmo! Since this one is way closer to me, I would just come to this Bevmo. Anyway let's REVIEW! They have a similar selection of beer, hard liquor, wine and sodas/carbonated beverages. However I do wish yet have a bigger selection of liquors in small bottles since it's easier to carry compared to huge/massive bottles. I do request more Stella mini wine bottles from all Bevmos out there. If any Bevmo management is reading this, please take it into consideration. Stella aficionados like I would appreciate it.
