Pros: Right off the freeway Decent prices Helpful staff Cons: Some shady customers when we were there. Can be a hassle to get out of parking lot. read more

I just arrived and there was a message on the door - Be back in 10 minutes. I was buying Lottery tickets for our office pool so I didn't want to wait and went next door to 7-11 to buy them. When I went back to the store a few customers were waiting outside to go in. I wanted a Beat Box or BuzzBall and ended up with an orange flavored Beat Box. Check the prices first because I didn't realize until later that maybe I was overcharged. read more

$7.33 a buzzball!!!!! No joke! And he said he waved the $1.00 credit card fee.... Wow. Never returning here..... charged me 2 seperate transactions for 2 buzz balls!!!! Wow. $14.66 for 2 buzzballz read more

All i have to say is, the place nice and all. I give them that, but the prices for a drink is tad more compared to other liquor store or spot. Example, a buzz ball. Average 4 to 5 bucks . Here was 7 bucks ish. My fault should have checked when they had scanned etc. read more

The two stars are for exorbitant pricing. I know things are going up but $44.00 for a case of Modelo beer! The other issue is, nothing in their cases have pricing which is crazy. I figured the case would be 25-30 comparing to other places but $44.00?!?!?! Wow. I told the cashier, so much?? she responded "i know "....... read more

The bitch ass cashier stole money Saturday March 2, 2024! I paid $5 cash for 2 powerballs. She charged 2, gave me one. Reap what you sow...

Love y'all with my whole heart. I go here after school everyday to get a drink and I've become a regular and I don't regret it. People are sweet and you guys always have what I need in stock. read more

I don't feel welcome here. This place isn't the most welcoming liquor store - odd right? I've never had issues else where but I got a really bad vibe here as if I was an intruder walking in. I just wanted to ask a couple of questions about their overpriced selection and I was met some pretentious replies. Maybe the man just rubbed me the wrong way but that's a definite no go for me. First impressions are important and this one totally blew it. I'm usually fine paying a little over but this place is way above the premium. Weller's, Blanton's, and etc are way above the retail price - $100+ on both. I understand pricing it $10-15 more, but $110-$120 for Weller's? No way. $100 for Blanton's? I literally found Blanton's at three different retailers for MSRP. If you think you're getting a good deal here, you're wrong. I can't support businesses who hoard at these prices. I understand they are hard to come by, but not impossible to get. This isn't Pappy. I really have no reason to go back and give it another shot. Good luck. read more

Nice place.. This mini mall has been in renovation for a couple years.. Love the view of the dumpster in front of the building... Just...sooooo appealing... I'm fat...and...sooo the aisles are verreee small... I don't wanna go down the tight wine aisles... I'll knock all the bottles on the floor with my tummy... I needed some Halls cough drops... Jug & Jigger - the outside of a liquor store - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - West Covina, California

All liquor stores should have whimsical names like this. For a regular-old liquor store, this place has a great beer selection. A wide variety of Belgian beers, a good representation of California's best, and a good smattering of other American and European choices. The mark-up is a touch high, so for a big haul it makes more sense to go elsewhere, but for a bottle or three, the gas saved travelling out to Total Wine probably more than makes up the difference. read more

This place is awesome! They have a ton of selection of craft beers, pale ales, domestic and imports! Yes, they're a bit on the pricey side but if you're a cheap ass then go next door to 7-11 and buy yourself some Bud Light. There's a $1.00 transaction fee for debit only so use credit- it's no charge! read more

Jug & Jigger - Yum - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - West Covina, California

The Jug & Jigger is a great liquor store in West Covina. It is located next to the 10 east entrance of the freeway, in a little remodeled strip mall. If you are like me and are looking for a great selection of micro brews, look no further. This place has it all and the prices are decent. They carry sky scraper, new belgium, lost coast, alaska, new belgium, flying dog, anderson valley, dogfish head, nectar, firestone walker, to name a few. The jug & Jigger also has single 22oz bottles of beer if you are looking for something different to sip back on. The staff here are courteous and leave you alone until you are ready to check out. In other words, you are allowed to peruse the selections without any hassle. If you are looking for something in particular just go ahead and ask them and they will help you. I love that they put a price sticker on every bottle, six pack, and twelve pack. I am not left to wonder how much things are. read more

I love this place...They have almost everything for your drinking needs!! Plus they always have the BEST MUSIC playing in the background. I'm going to miss this store when I move... read more

This store has a ton of options drinks , snacks ,tobacco items etc! Best prices around!! One of my items was messed up and Ron returned it no questions asked and gave me a new one ! If your going to buy any of those items come to him for his business ! You won't be let down! I'd rather give my business to a mom and pop shop like this that has great customer service ! Good job !!! read more

This was my second time coming to this place. I usually buy my drinks at the grocery store out of convenience but both times I have come here I get great service. The first time they gave me a gift set at the same price of just the bottle. The second time the guy working was super helpful in helping me pick out a new bourbon to try. read more

Oh shee wassup my jigger! Ron has the best selection in town he is knowledgeable and professional. At first I wasn't so sure about this place, but he turned me into a real Jigger lover!! read more

This is a convenient little liquor store right by my house. They have some pretty good prices and a huge wine selection, which is always good! I did not get a chance to buy what I wanted because they were out of it but the cashier was rely sweet and he apologized. They also have a variety of snacks and other knick knacks. read more

Incredible craft beer selection. A lot of stone special release Stone stuff that you can rarely find (even at the Stone company store in Pasadena). The clincher for me was one random bottle of 2009 green flash barleywine for $5.79. Insanely rare to find 3-4 yr old bottle of barelywine on the shelf anywhere, much less with the original price tag on it. read more

Love their selection of beers. The white guy (sorry don't know his name) is very helpful in finding what you need and would even special order beers for you if he can. If you're buying craft beer expect to pay for a craft beer and don't bitch and moan about it. If your complaining about a $8 or $10 beer maybe you shouldn't even be buying craft beer. They carry a lot of stuff bevmo don't so I don't mind paying a little extra for beer that's harder to find. Craft beer drinkers come and check this place out and cheap beer drinkers buy your fizzy yellow drink at the corner store. read more

This is seriously the nicest, cleanest, and most friendly liquor store I have ever been to in my entire life. Most liquor stores are grimy...except this one. I appreciate that this store is ALWAYS clean and stocked with a variety of alcohol, mixers, and snacks. Thank you for being awesome! read more

Ron is awesome! So helpful and fun to talk to. He knows his stuff. Good selection of wine and beer. Great location right off the 10 freeway. Definitely love this small business much more than the big chain stores like BevMo. I appreciate Ron and his dedication to service and providing a variety of choices of all kinds of liquor and snacks. :) read more

Nice service! Good selection and reasonable prices. I had a good conversation with one of the employees...I think maybe an owner. Nice guy, and shared some good thoughts on beer, as I will go out of my way for a good one or to get my hands on some hard to find Dogfish Head! Thanks! read more

It's has great selection of beer, the staff are helpful and friendly. If I can't find a beer or beer I'm looking for they have order it for me. And there beer is cold not like bevmo. read more

Good craft beer selection. I was looking for a chocolate stout and the guy who worked there was quit friendly and helpful. Its worth a trip to see whats available if you are in the area since they offer wine liquor and cigars as well. read more

This place has a decent selection of beer. I like that.. However, their prices seem to be out of line. I may have to compare the prices against those of BevMo and Total Wine. Not bad, if you are in a hurry and don't mind paying a little more for expediency. read more

Don't get me started on how convenient it is to have a corner store that sells all kinds of good local (and not so local) craft beer right next to an 85 degrees bakery. I stopped by here a lot when i'm in town and everyone who works here is cool and likes to make recommendations. read more

I always come here for their craft beer selection. You really can't beat the variety of beer here. The staff is really cool and friendly. They know their beer and alcohol. By far the best liquor store in the area. read more

This liqour store has a lot of microbrews and specialty beers. It also has three racks of wines and cocktail supplies. It is great for a quick stop and I enjoy going here when I need a quick drink. read more

This place has a pretty good selection of craft beer and wines, along with all of the standard hard liquors. Their craft beer selection is better than most stores, and the wine selection seems pretty extensive(I don't drink wine, but judging by the amount of bottles they have it seems like there is a good selection). This, however, is the only reason I bothered to give them 2 stars. I tend to choose liquor stores at random since I like to see what craft beers they have and try new things. I have been here a few times, every other month or so. The problem I have with this place is that every time I go, the beer is expired and I never realize it until I get home and crack it open. This has happened a few times and I finally got fed up and decided to write this. The date on the bottle was from 8 months ago; and that's a best by date, not a production date. All in all I don't plan on coming back here. It's quite a disappointment to get home and be ready to enjoy a nice crisp beer and have it be old and stale. read more

Stopped by this place on the way home from work. The guy that was working wasn't helpful at all. Didn't know much about anything except how to push the buttons on the register and give people free booze. I do like the fact that they are selling "sky high" edibles . 1 star for that. No recommendation needed. Other than that i most likely will be stopping at a different liquor store on the way home from work from now on. read more

Very convenient and accessible place right off the freeway . They have a great selection a decent prices. Beer, wine, liquor and even a nice little humidor. I go for the craft beers. Very nice I would recommend this spot to anyone. read more

Love the fact that they carry a lot different type of Beers and close to my home is also a plus.

it's the first one so how could it be bad? the answer is, it can't. this one is slightly closer than jug and jigger #2 , literally right off the exit on the 10. this place has slighty more of a selection of beer than than #2. the main difference between the two seems to be that #2 is more focused on alcohol, while #1 is a liquore store with a huge selection of beers. either one is good. when i can't find what i'm looking for i know they'll probably have it at the other one, less than 5 mins. away. i love this place and i still take at least 10 mins. trying to decide on what to drink next. boo ya! first to review both jug and jiggers! read more

If you're into craft beer do not come here for good beers. Everything that is sought after is wayyyy over priced. I mean 3 to 5 dollars over priced. Very disappointing as they had a fairly decent selection, which is the only reason it gets two stars... read more
