I will never return here. Living 90 miles away I located a few bottles my favorite spirits at this location. I called and spoke to a clerk who was willing to hold 4 of the 6 bottles they had in stock for me. I explained that I would be arriving within the next 2 hours and they said it was fine. I showed up within an hour and I even called once on the road to double check inventory and location, all was good. I found one bottle on the shelf, when I asked the clerks about my reserved bottles, they beratingly told that they never hold any bottles, nor that they received any call. I had no choice but to leave. The Hollywood store had my bottles, and were most helpful. The Pasadena store needs customer service training and will never get my business again. read more

Hello BevMo! This is a great place to get all kinds of alcohol, especially the hard to find ones. Make sure you have your BevMo! card or enroll in it to get the better price. It is free to enroll in the program. read more

This Bevmo is located in a plaza with Staples and there is plenty of parking. Anyways, I came here for the 5 cent wine sale, since the other Bevmo near me (Glendora) was out of a certain white wine that my fiance wanted to try. Like any other Bevmo, there are a wide selection of wine, beer, etc. I love that the store is organized (my favorite section is the dessert wine area, what can I say? I love my sweets) and has a little blurb about each of the wines. Pricing here is pretty fair (although some wines can be purchased cheaper at say Costco or even at the super market or drug stores like CVS). Staff here is very friendly and helpful, especially if you are looking for a particular beverage or type of beverage. I love coming here especially during the 5 cent wine sales (happens a few times a year) though because you save a lot of money buying your wine this way (honestly, after searching for the cheapest price, no other place can beat it) and if you do not like what you purchased, they will accept your return no problem (since my fiance and I are trying out wines for our wedding, we were happy to return a few bottles that we did not like. Oh and fyi, Costco does not accept returns on wine... as we learned that the hard way). Oh and you can get 5% off your first wine order online and have it shipped to a store so you can pick up your order to avoid paying shipping, like we did here. We were able to get our order right away and have our boxes of wine carried out by an employee. Overall, had an excellent experience, as we always do when we shop at Bevmo (and you can also serve the internet on their free wifi) read more

After going all over the place (Targets) to get a particular wine, we still didn't have enough for a huge event. Going to Bevmo was a breath of fresh air. It was so beautifully organized, the staff was so gracious and knowledgeable about our wines. We were looking for a particular brand and a male staff member with glasses (who's name slips my mind) was awesome and found us the only box they had left somewhere in the store. He was studying to get his sommelier license and really knows his stuff. You can tell how passionate he is and made some great recommendations. You can even find his picture and name at certain "staff picks" labels around the store. I would love to go back for some wine tasting once my crazy summer schedule is over! Every Sat afternoon FYI. read more

When it comes to taking your money they will take it but as soon as you try to return something they make it a hassle and act as if it's an inconvenience to return something. They literally took 30 minutes to return a few items. They tried to bust a move saying oh we can't do return when it specifically says on their receipt that they accept returns. Even the manager on duty was saying we can take your return but you have to buy something. They literally want to steal your money. This is the worst BevMo in all of California. Brandon was taking his sweet as time. Should get fired. read more

I recently became of legal drinking age *yay?* Pretty much on my week of "being an adult" I stopped at BevMo, never having been in one (we don't have them at home). it's like Toys R Us for adults! They have everything you can think of, organized in a awesome, easy to navigate, floor of shelves. I pulled up a drink on my drink-mixer iphone app, and just found the ingredients. done. easy! Ask the staff for recommendation and just to chat! They're really cool! I asked for a drink in the glass case, and the lady was awesome, she told me what she thought of it, told me a story about the cocktail party she had it at, everyone I've met there is awesome, like getting alcohol advice from your best friend. and they have a lot of MINI versions of things! I got a mini of the Cotton Candy Liquour because I wasn't sure if that was such a good idea, but the mini was just as cute and pink in it's bottle as the big one, and now I know I'd be okay with committing to buying a whole bottle! My boyfriend also used the minis to see if he could tell the difference between all the different vodkas haha. read more

This place has a lot of stuff to choose from. It has a huge variety from beer to wine to tequila to root beer and all the random stuff that goes with them like nuts and glasses. Im not sure how the prices match up, but definitely cheaper than a bottle at the bar! (duh). They have BevMo! club card here. They have wine tasting on the weekends. There are a bunch of imported stuff too. I recommend Cuervo Tequila and Hefe Weiss Hefeweizen...(i dont like the pyramid one) read more

Best place to go for wines, spirits and SODAS! I love me some soda pop from a far away state. Bubblegum, blueberry, poison brand, vampyre blood, bawls, strawberry soda, and etc. Their prices on wines and spirits are 1-5 dollars less than rsvp but sometimes they have the 5 cent wine sale which will save you a lot only IF the wine you're looking for is opted for the promotion. I've never been able to really utilize the sale because my favs haven't been on sale. :/ Regardless, it's still a good deal. VERY nice selection of mini booze bottles too! Glass, plastic, and a couple in their own boxes. Makes a cute gift to give around the office during holidays :] read more

I've been going to this BevMo since they opened up awhile ago and I actually prefer this one over the Glendale BevMo even though its equidistance from my house. Staff is always ready to help and a major plus is that they have their own parking lot. They usually have all the dranks I want mang! Okay, enough of that ungrammatical nonsense. I do usually find what I want but there was one time I came in looking for a banana bread beer but they didnt have in the store only online. Other than that one time I still come here and I am sure to be back sometime during the holidays read more

I went to Bevmo for my wedding alcohol. When I heard about the 5 cent sale Bevmo was having for wine, I couldn't pass it up. I got 11 cases which included merlot, chardonnay, champagne, etc. The total came to $655, but would have been about $1100 without the deal. They didn't have 5 cent deals on hard alcohol and beer so I had to have my vendor take care of those items. The aisles are small and it's difficult to move your cart around them. Also, the people working there are so busy that they hardly have time to stop and answer questions. I'm not sure if they are even that well educated on the wine since I asked about several labels and they hadn't tried it. I guess it's more of a warehouse rather than your local cellar. Overall, the experience was great. We really saved so much money. read more

It's BevMo. They sell all things good and holy. What. Else. Is. There. Question mark. read more

I went to BevMo yesterday to pick up some wine for a Pre-Halloween party tomorrow and was impressed that I found a rare Cab-Tempranillo blend from the Navarra region. I'd looked for it at Whole Foods, no dice. I checked Trader Joe's, nope. And yet, as I was looking for a completely different wine (Rosenblum Syrah--amazing--the one whose label reads it has hints of Herbs de Provence It really does!! And, It's the only one I've ever tasted with that unique taste). It's $21.99 but totally worth it. Anyway, there it was: Vega-Sindoa 2005, Cab-Tempranillo from Navarra Spain. I'd tasted it with a close friend in NY last year at a great Mexican restaurant (whose name, sadly, I can't remember). It was wonderful!! I have to remember the name of that place now...the owner was amazing to us and let us "taste" several wines, most of which were from closed bottles--knowing that we were only going to buy one. That's customer service! Yay!! BevMo. I can now enjoy my NY inspired wine. P.S. FOUND IT! The name of that restaurant is Centrico and I just read my reviews & realized I did yelp about it. Whew!! read more

What can I say about BevMo!? I'm just glad is near my house because that makes it convenient for my last minute gift finding excursions. I'm actually not a big drinker since I'm slightly allergic to alcohol, however I love coming here to refill my bar and especially to get gifts for my staff. It's also convenient for my friends to be able to stop by and pick up some beers on the way over when I have a BBQ. They have a HUGE variety of alcohol from beer, wines, tequila, vodka, EVERYTHING. I also love getting their gift sets during Christmas to give as gifts. Price is definitely reasonable.. in fact probably the cheapest around for certain alcohols... cheaper than ralphs and vons.. but maybe not costco. They also have cigars and other things for your bar as well. Another bonus, the staff is friendly and helpful. read more

It should be called WineMo...because this place is good at wine and alcohol accessories. I was under the impression initially that they specialized in BEVERAGES in general, but for the most part it is just WINE, which I have yet to acquire that taste. Needless to say, there were no deals whatsoever with the hard liquor, and there really wasn't an impressive vodka/tequila section. I have seen liquor stores with a wider variety of the good stuff. I went there once and purchased their only Patron Platinum which was $210, and that is NOT a good price!!! It appears that supermarkets can have better prices for Liquor. If they had better prices, I would have given them one more star, and another star if they didn't just have lots of wines. read more

This review is not for the store, but rather for the rude and condescending gentleman that "helped me" yesterday: I went into BevMo with every intention of spending a hefty amount of money on a 30 year old bottle of Scotch as a gift. The man helping me, let's call him ScotchSnob, appraised me with doubt when I told him what I was looking for. He asked, "what kind of whiskey does your friend drink?" When I replied, he scoffed and put a $30.00 bottle of whiskey in my hands, telling me there's no way my friend could possibly appreciate the fine qualities of the $700 bottle I was planning to buy. ScotchSnob couldn't understand that the purpose of the gift was sentimental, and had everything to do with the bottle's age, rather than an ability to "appreciate" its contents. Needless to say, ScotchSnob shamed me into leaving without the bottle, and with a considerably heavier purse. Thanks, I guess. read more

Came in to buy 2 100.00 bottles of jack Daniels. Asked Carolina for help. She went to check in the back for the bottles... then helped 2 other people after me... then went to the register to check people out... Totally blew me off! Had to ask another employee for the bottles.. very frustrating.... Horrible customer service!! read more

Booze. If you like it then you'll like this Bevmo! You have cheese, pint glasses, wine glasses, shots, brandy snifters, martini glasses, martini shakers, a couple of wine aisles sorted by kind/region, a couple of liquor isles sorted by kind, and a couple of beer aisles sorted by country/region. Good selection of Belgian beers. The Euro selection is good too and I'm always glad when Stone has some of their limited release beers they won't hold you to a quantity -that is you can buy as much Double Bastard as you want (circa 10% ABV) and be the biggest drunkest curmudgeon ever! Most of the beer is outside the coolers so plan ahead if you need cold beer. If you're looking for really fine wine you'll have trouble finding it here since this caters to the low and mid-level wine price range and clientele. The sales on the liquor are generous. If you can't find Tanquerey NO. 10 on the shelves ask them for it because they stopped putting it on the shelves because people kept stealing it (at least this is what an employee told me). Good Sake selection too. Employees are okay. Buying a keg here is a pain in the ass and is pretty expensive (prepared to get sodomized on the deposit, my deposit was $30 more than the keg; who charges $50 for the shell? The thing is $12!) All in all a good alcohol warehouse. Closes at 9pm though so you have to think ahead... read more

I really like this BevMo. Not only is it on my way home from school (always a plus), it has an amazing selection of beers from around the world for a so-called chain liquor store. Their liquor selection, from what I can tell, is pretty solid. Their single malt offerings are a little on the skimpy side, but not bad considering all the other liquors they need to make space for. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint is about the wine section. It's well-laid out, but the wine selection (at least for the foreign wines) seems rather uninspired, not to mention expensive. Definitely better places to go for value foreign wines. Oh, and trying to navigate the store with a cart is a nightmare. I'm amazed that I haven't knocked over one of their precarious displays yet! read more

Kevin is a wonderful store manager. He's smart, knowledgeable and goes out of his way to make sure I get what wine I'm looking for. He knows each product inside out. He's truly the best!!! read more

I'd say the staff here is very knowledgeable of their products. They seem to know where everything is at. I must include the fact that if they don't carry what you are looking for (which is not often), they will refer you to a place that does. To me that makes all the difference in customer satisfaction. Only thing I am not big on is their rewards program, my information can never be found. I have since signed up for another one and haven't had any problems but it was a shame losing my points I had accumulated over an extended period of time. read more

I have always been mystified that people consider this to be a discount outlet for alcohol. At least when it comes to wine I find that their pricing is about 10-30% higher than most other retailers. One specific example is Rodney Strong Cab 2014 priced at $19 with the Bevmo card and $22 without. I regularly buy the exact same wine at Trader Joes and (gasp!!) CVS for $15 or about 18% cheaper. read more

I switched to Total Wine - although I used to love this BevMo store because it has great people - because they can't post my points to my BevMo rewards account during the pandemic. I'm spending more at this moment in time so it actually matters!! I inquired through the website and was told that is there is a delay right now and my points will be credited one day. Sorry, not good enough. It's been over a month!!! Bye bye BevMo . read more

Huge selection! Great prices! I'm gluten-sensitive so I'm tickled that they carry a good selection on gluten free beers. I absolutely recommend BevMo and if you're in the market for a gluten free beer try Omissions Lager (the yellow carton). Best gluten free beer ever! read more

Always good service at BevMo with a staff that makes some great recommendations. :)

It must be terribly difficult to get hired here because one of the key job requirements is that you must possess a higher than average incompetency level matched only by the size of your attitude. I should have known better than to expect actual knowledge of the products they sell, but I am pleasantly surprised that the employees here at least manage to tie their own shoelaces before heading out the door every morning. read more

First of all this place has a big parking lot. Second it a great place to gather before a party and work out the details of who is bringing what. They have rows and rows of wines, liquor, chips, sodas, ice, beer, cups, everything you need but the empty house to which you will bring this all too. The staff is very helpful, they will even show you how to Tap a Keg and help you load your car. read more

Lots of selection. I especially like the Belgium beer Rochefort 10!

I had four bottles of wine I wanted to purchase tonight. At one of the open registers a gentleman had a full cart, so I went to the other register where there was one person in front of me with a few items. The guy at the register did not tell me that he would close after the transaction in progress. However, when the person in front of me left the checkout guy told me that I'll be helped at the other register. He proceeded to take my basket to the register with the large order. There were several other employees emptying boxes, hanging around, but not helping with the registers. There must have been a problem with the large order; two clerks were scratching their heads trying the transaction to go through, all ignoring me completely. After waiting for another few minutes I left without buying anything. I felt this was very inefficient, discriminative and borderline sexist (being a woman shopper in a liquor store). Ladies, shop somewhere else unless you are ready to fill your cellar! read more
