So basically, about 48 hours after making the Zoom appointment and significant time spent doing the check-in process their unpleasant & unapologetic admin staff called me and said my appointment had been cancelled because they don't do 'consults' online. What a stupid, unprofessional and incompetent manner of doing business. Seems their online booking system's first priority SHOULD be to determine whether a patient is elligible to use the system in the first place...? Complete waste of 2 days of my time. Also, Caduceus showed no regard, and actaully were disrespectul of my need to see a Cardiologist ASAP as my primary physician had instructed me to when he saw my test results. He also advised me to pay $250 in cash instead of billing the visit through my insurance, which made me uncomfortable. Because I was concerned about taking these medications without being certain they were necessary, I later consulted a dermatologist. The dermatologist diagnosed the condition as mosquito bites and advised me to use hydrocortisone cream. The bites healed within approximately three days with the topical treatment. I understand that medical opinions can differ, but I was very concerned that I had been prescribed oral antibiotics and steroids when the dermatologist determined that only a mild topical cream was needed. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this practitioner.

If you have a referral they'll take it from you but they normally already have it from the primary care or specialist doctor. Your wait time varies but mine took no more than 10 minutes. My first scan was quick as you undress and put on a gown and instructions were easy to follow. As for my second scan I was poked multiple times which irritated me but it got done and I was on my way. I thought overall they were efficient and I got out of there quickly. They have plenty of parking outside. If referred again I'd choose this location.

When I called back, the office was closed, so I had no way of knowing that my appointment had been canceled. This is very concerning. If you're going to cancel a patient's appointment, please leave a voicemail or send a text message. Patients shouldn't have to guess why they're being called, especially when they're fasting and driving to an early morning appointment. When I shared my concerns with the front desk, I expected some understanding. Instead, I was told that "most people prefer phone calls." That completely misses the point. My issue wasn't that they called. It was that no one spoke, no voicemail was left, and no text was sent. Even if I were in the minority, basic communication is still important. I wasted my morning, drove to the office unnecessarily, and fasted for no reason. I hope this office improves its communication so other patients don't have the same experience.

The only reason behind them doing so was to offer me the experience and service that I deserved. I went in today for my rescan & was greeted by the owner herself. What a wonderful person she is by the way! It looked like she had hired a few more people, which is great because this will minimize interruptions for the working tech. I was quickly taken back to the room and the scan began. Both the ultrasound technician and the owner were working together to get the best picture possible (again, I have an anterior placenta, so understandably it's difficult) they managed to get some really good pictures! The owner was very patient & she was genuinely interested in catching the baby's features in every picture she could capture. She always asked if I was ok or felt uncomfortable, It was a great experience from beginning to end. It was a pleasure coming back & the owner was thankful that we did and that we gave her the opportunity to regain our business. The fact that she went out of her way to make sure I had a perfect experience really shows how much she values her customers and her business. I respect and appreciate that. The latest cancellation came at the last minute, with staff telling me the radiologist had an emergency. My doctor was then given a different explanation: the machine was missing a coil and they were waiting for a part. These conflicting explanations have left me with very little confidence in their communication. Worse, I was told I had to rebook the appointment myself, and the next available appointment was three months away. Why is a patient whose biopsy has been cancelled twice by the facility sent to the back of the line? It has already been almost six months since my original referral without a biopsy. By the next available appointment, it will be almost eight months since I initially scheduled. This is a breast biopsy--not a routine appointment that can simply be pushed back repeatedly without concern for the patient waiting for answers. I understand that emergencies and equipment problems happen. What I cannot accept is being left to start the scheduling process over myself, with another three-month delay and no meaningful help securing an earlier appointment. Despite having PPO insurance, I am now considering paying out of pocket elsewhere just to get this done. The anxiety, frustration, and loss of trust this has caused are enormous. Patients awaiting a breast biopsy deserve clear communication, urgency, and support. My experience here has fallen far short of that.
