They took the time to explain the entire process to me in detail before starting, which really helped ease my nerves since it was my first MRI. The technologist checked in with me throughout the exam, made sure I was comfortable, and explained what to expect at each step instead of rushing through it. The office was clean, organized, and ran on time, which I really appreciated. You can tell the staff knows what they're doing and actually cares about patient comfort, not just getting people in and out. My MRI report was sent to me less than 24 hours after my exam and I walked out with a CD. Wasted gas, the cost of finding a babysitter and quite frankly the confidence that this place even HAS RADIOLOGISTS ON STAFF. She needed an ultrasound back in February done, had the appointment set for this place and no one here checks anything prior to the appointment except for maybe the DAY of! Got a call in the morning saying they needed an authorization from my clients insurance before doing the ultrasound. Okay why wasn't this checked prior?! The dr who ordered the ultrasound had made sure this is a place that takes her insurance and would be covered and to just call and make an appointment. Ultimately, had to reschedule. The day OF the rescheduled appointment, there was an issue with her insurance and them not being able to find the insurance info when they had all the info plus the authorization! Took 2-3 hours before they finally did her ultrasound. Fast forward to June, she has a CT scan ordered from her drs so we decided to give this place a shot again, given it's only 5 min away from us. Had everything prepared and ready, day of, same thing all over again. They needed her insurance info, had to provide it all over again even though it was all inputted in before and prior plus with authorization. Hour later they said need to reschedule due to her having a reaction to iodine. Again why wasn't this discussed or told prior?! So we reschedule and get the meds she needed to take prior to the appointment and literally as we park, I get a call saying it needs to be rescheduled due to the orders not matching the authorization. HOW?! Why was this not checked before let alone how was this not even addressed on the first appointment?! Got a call back from them a week later asking to schedule and that everything is good (even though I told them I'd call them to schedule once I heard back from her urologist and insurance. Which insurance confirmed they never got anything regarding an order change. So whatever happened there, I have no idea) so I called wave imaging again to confirm that orders and authorization matched and they said yes. So here we are to today and made it all the way to the scan bed and the radiologist says, "for safety reasons, it's best for her to go to a hospital to get this done that way a nurse can help hold her arm and keep it straight." The technician off the bat didn't seem confident at all and neither did the radiologist. Note my client has dementia and can follow directions so long as you speak loud enough. But they were concerned she couldn't keep her arm straight during the whole duration, which I get but if all they wanted was a "nurse to hold her arm" one of them could've easily done it and even I said I could do it! They still refused! Two reschedules, twice my client had to take medication, and essentially three times was my client turned away all because everyone here are absolutely incompetent and don't know wtf they're doing. I'm an administrator at a board and care and help oversee and advocate for all of my clients care needs, on-top of my own health needs. I have never experienced this kind of service and unprofessionalism. Go elsewhere!

I went in to get an X-ray and the technician was friendly, helpful, and a Veteran. The quality of care seemed good and he was very empathetic to the pain I was experiencing. When the X-ray results were sent to my doctor's office the results were ready to understand. Being an informed patient I wanted a copy of the images so my doctor told me to contact Medizen to obtain them directly. I called and that's where the lack of service began. It took over 4 minutes to answer my call and I was told to come in, show my ID and they'd burn a CD for me. Instead of possibly obtaining my information first to begin the process they just brushed me off. I went in to get the CD ordered and instead of allowing me to explain why I was there, I was told to sign in. I offered that I wasn't there for imagine, but for records pull and was brushed off again and told to sign in by the heavy set Hispanic front desk assistant. The second lady that helped me was kind and efficient, but hung into my Driver's License after verifying my ID. I didn't get it back until my CD of images was ready. Overall, this could have been a 4 or 5 start experience had the first lady attended to me properly instead of brushing me off. A simple show of appreciation would have avoided this negative review. It isn't about having to sign it, it is about providing good customer service from start to finish. I get that you want to track your service count, but finish we're people too and not just a number.

Luckily, my score was 0 (perfect) five years ago, and it was time for a recheck. This time, I was referred to Imaging Partners in Orange. I called to schedule an appointment and Elyssa was so friendly and helpful. They had a cancellation and were able to book me only two days out. She took all of my prerequisite information quickly and sent me a link to complete some paperwork online ahead of time. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and was impressed by their very modern and clean facility. Check-in was a breeze since I completed the forms online ahead of time. I only waited about five minutes and was called back. My tech Khan was very friendly and made everything a breeze. I laid on the bed feet first and he put a few heart electrodes on my chest. The bed raises and slides you into the center of the CT machine. It was not claustrophobic at all, and the CT machine spinning made very little noise. An automated voice instructs you to hold your breath twice for about five seconds, and then again twice for about 15 seconds as the bed slowly moves back and forth through the ring taking images. The process only took about five minutes, and I was in and out of the office in about fifteen minutes. I took the test on a Friday afternoon and the results will be sent to my doctor and posted in their online portal for me to view on Monday. Insurance usually doesn't cover this test, and the cash price was only $200. I had a great experience here, and will look forward to coming back in five years.

The dude who runs the MRI machine was also very chill. This place was pretty small, so it was, therefore, pretty mellow (not too busy). They were very flexible with scheduling and were able to get me scheduled for a time that was convenient for me. The office seemed very clean and comfortable. Also, their MRI machine is one of the open-type MRIs, and not one of those tube shaped, coffin-like MRI machines that everyone hates, so that was awesome. They accidentally overcharged me by $50, but apologized for the mistake and were very prompt on handling the refund. It only took about a week for them to get it processed and credited to my card; No hassles whatsoever. They even called afterward to follow up and make sure that I'd gotten the credit. This place easily earns the five stars!
