I went in to get an X-ray and the technician was friendly, helpful, and a Veteran. The quality of care seemed good and he was very empathetic to the pain I was experiencing. When the X-ray results were sent to my doctor's office the results were ready to understand. Being an informed patient I wanted a copy of the images so my doctor told me to contact Medizen to obtain them directly. I called and that's where the lack of service began. It took over 4 minutes to answer my call and I was told to come in, show my ID and they'd burn a CD for me. Instead of possibly obtaining my information first to begin the process they just brushed me off. I went in to get the CD ordered and instead of allowing me to explain why I was there, I was told to sign in. I offered that I wasn't there for imagine, but for records pull and was brushed off again and told to sign in by the heavy set Hispanic front desk assistant. The second lady that helped me was kind and efficient, but hung into my Driver's License after verifying my ID. I didn't get it back until my CD of images was ready. Overall, this could have been a 4 or 5 start experience had the first lady attended to me properly instead of brushing me off. A simple show of appreciation would have avoided this negative review. It isn't about having to sign it, it is about providing good customer service from start to finish. I get that you want to track your service count, but finish we're people too and not just a number.

I think there were moments I felt glimmers of possible kindness when I try hard to give grace since he's working with my sister who needs extra care. However, the man is mostly impatient and comes off impolite. The healthcare system here just really is awful as a country, so it translates to many of these places too. The process of scheduling an appt. wasn't bad in that I was able to get an appt. the same day for my sister. Sandra, who assisted me over the phone was patient and professional. And there was another associate in the front with a pink Strawberry Shortcake sweater who was helpful and kind. These locations are mostly filled with bothered and impatient energy unfortunately, and that's terrible considering people are there for health reasons and it would nice if the company and their associates at least pretended to care by having patience and professionalism.

Fountain Valley is open til 8, which is super convenient for people who can't make it by 5. Since my husband was already pre-registered and he had checked in online, this location was a breeze. Only one lady was working, she was handling the check in desk and performing the X-rays, and she did an amazing job at dealing with it all. My husband was seen within 10 mins of being there, and once his X-rays were done, we received his disc to take to his ortho within about 5 minutes. I will say it was sort of confusing cause there is no sign on the building, or on the directory, but we figured out it is inside of the Urgent Care. They could do a better job with signage for sure. Overall though, no complaints about this location!

I did have an appointment and came early to sign paperwork etc…read more *The building they're located in needs LARGE NUMBERS ON TOP to be able to find it quickly VS driving around which is maddening. *The lobby isn't big enough for appropriate social distancing when I see the number of people seated there. The front office staff was busy handling incoming patients reporting in, answering phones, and computer work. They were very nice and professional when I reported in. My ultrasound technician was Kelly and she is *MARVELLOUS*! Kelly was very professional and so very kind. She explained what she was doing which helped me to relax as I was nervous. The room was nice, quiet, and dark that I nearly fell asleep lol. The procedure was done quickly and the next thing I know I'm in the main building lobby filling in a yelp review for them. I'm very satisfied with my visit and I do recommend Newport Imaging (for ultrasounds) Hopefully Kelly will be working the day you need to go in.

Making appointment is not an easy process. When I called the phone number listed for this facility,…read morethe voice recording states that I cannot make appt on the phone and must sign on to their website. So I noticed that on the doctors order there is a QR code that I can scan to make appt. If my 86 year old dad had to make his own appt I know for sure that he'll be lost and will most likely find another place to go to get his X-ray. As I sat in the waiting room, I learned that two other patients had difficulty making appt as well. Even the receptionist agreed that the appt making process is bad. The appt process needs to be more user friendly, especially for senior patients. Once in the office, the receptionist did not acknowledge us standing in line and asked us to sign in as she was talking to another patient about their dogs. After five minutes, another patient in the waiting room notified us instead. When the sign-in clipboard was passed back to the line the patient behind us grabbed it first and signed in before us. When I notified that inconsiderate patient, she started yelling at me rudely. Although the receptionist was aware of the situation she did not help us who was there first. We have appt at 12:50 (we came at 12:35) and was finally seen at 1:13. I will not use this facility again!!!

Amazing experience from beginning to the end…read more Need an affordable MRI quick to diagnose unexplained problem. You will almost certainly never get it from your insurance company or will have to wait weeks while referral back and forth. HTC imaging just solve this whole issue. The pricing is very affordable with the amount of scan and result that you got. The peace of mind after the thorough scan of your body is priceless. Appointment was easily made. The great owner Sean was able to put me in in 2 days. And he was so caring and personally assuring throughout the whole process. Identifying possible problems right after. The MRI experience is not as scary as I thought. He assured me in every process and you are not going to stuck inside for hours. He let you came out and back in periodically. The ultrasound process is as amazing as the MRI. This is not the first time I did ultrasound. But he knows exactly where and what to look for and show me exactly what my body is doing at the same time. We got a short consultation right after the scan and a detailed board certified report a few days later. Also, all imaging will be given to you in a flash drive. Amazing service. The only thing is it's a little hard to look for. Remember you are looking for a trailer in a parking marked with Siemens. (See my picture). It's next to the medical building. Pricing was also very affordable compared to a lot of other imaging centers, which I appreciated. The only downside was the image quality. When I later went in for surgery, my doctor mentioned that the MRI imaging quality was not very good, which makes me think they may be using an older machine or older equipment. That said, the staff experience was excellent and the gentleman helping me was extremely kind and professional. If you're looking for a lower-cost MRI option and a smooth experience, this place works well. But if you specifically need the highest-quality imaging for something serious or surgical, you may want to consider a facility with newer equipment.

If you aren't familiar, a dexa scan tells you your weight, body composition including visceral organ fat, bone density, and lean body mass. It is the most accurate way to measure progress if you are trying to increase lean muscle or bone density. I go to the Irvine mobile spot and they have been on time for one and running 10 minutes behind on my second. They communicated the time they were running behind. You get your results within a few minutes of completion. I highly recommend it.
