She even got me warm blankets because I'm always so cold. When it was done she helped me up and told me that my Dr will have the results back STAT. She made me feel comfortable and is phenomenal at her job. I sincerely hope that Maddy will be recognized and get the registration that she deserves. If there were more stars to give I'd give them all. That's how comfortable and kind she made me feel in a not so comfortable time.

Today when I went in for my MRI, the check-in process was very quick and easy, and I was seated…read morecomfortably. However, when the MRI technician came to take me into the room and set up the machine, she seemed very careless and not very attentive. She briefly asked what kind of music I wanted, then closed the door and left. I asked how long the procedure would take, and I was told fifteen minutes. Once it started, the noise from the machine was extremely loud and suddenly caused me to develop a headache. I simply endured it for the full fifteen minutes. When it was finished and another staff member came in to open the machine and help me out, I mentioned what happened. He told me that next time I should ask for earplugs. I responded that I hope there won't be a next time soon, as this is not something I experience regularly. In my opinion, patients should be reminded in advance that the noise can be very loud and that ear protection is available. This discomfort could easily be prevented. I feel the staff need to be a bit more attentive and considerate, rather than just treating it as a routine task and moving on. Patients deserve more care and awareness.

That's really important for a front desk person to be, when the patient is having a procedure like an MRI or a CT. Well done! She was wonderful. KIM, the technician was terrific, and actually a lot of fun, which made me relax for my MRI. She is a seasoned pro and made everything run smoothly. I was so grateful for that! Impressive. All in all there is NOW a terrific team in this location at 3300 West Coast Highway, Newport Beach. There has been much improvement since I was there last in 2019. Also, of course, the beautiful appearance of the place, like a spa, helps greatly to provide a soothing atmosphere. So yes, I absolutely recommend this WAVE Location. It's also a nice short walk from the parking lot which counts when you are suffering. One thing to remember: they DO offer what is called an "open MRI" which can accommodate bigger or more claustrophobic people. However, it does not mean there is a ton of room above your face, I was surprised to find out. I think THAT particular type of machine is called a "Wide Bore" and I do not know if this parent company has that kind of machine anywhere near me. So it was still fairly claustrophobic for me,although not as much as if it were not "an open MRI". Kim did an impressive job of making me as comfortable as possible. I do think that this is a very good and well run facility and that hopefully people who discover it will see how earnest the people at this location are. (I did receive a call from the general call center trying to book my appointment, but I could barely understand the gentleman. Seems like that may need some attention from this company.)

Amazing experience from beginning to the end…read more Need an affordable MRI quick to diagnose unexplained problem. You will almost certainly never get it from your insurance company or will have to wait weeks while referral back and forth. HTC imaging just solve this whole issue. The pricing is very affordable with the amount of scan and result that you got. The peace of mind after the thorough scan of your body is priceless. Appointment was easily made. The great owner Sean was able to put me in in 2 days. And he was so caring and personally assuring throughout the whole process. Identifying possible problems right after. The MRI experience is not as scary as I thought. He assured me in every process and you are not going to stuck inside for hours. He let you came out and back in periodically. The ultrasound process is as amazing as the MRI. This is not the first time I did ultrasound. But he knows exactly where and what to look for and show me exactly what my body is doing at the same time. We got a short consultation right after the scan and a detailed board certified report a few days later. Also, all imaging will be given to you in a flash drive. Amazing service. The only thing is it's a little hard to look for. Remember you are looking for a trailer in a parking marked with Siemens. (See my picture). It's next to the medical building. Will recommend this to anyone who need a comprehensive scan and care for your own body more than your insurance company

Pricing was also very affordable compared to a lot of other imaging centers, which I appreciated. The only downside was the image quality. When I later went in for surgery, my doctor mentioned that the MRI imaging quality was not very good, which makes me think they may be using an older machine or older equipment. That said, the staff experience was excellent and the gentleman helping me was extremely kind and professional. If you're looking for a lower-cost MRI option and a smooth experience, this place works well. But if you specifically need the highest-quality imaging for something serious or surgical, you may want to consider a facility with newer equipment.

The MRI was so small that I could not get in without hitting my elbows. There was no instruction and it was almost unbearable. I believe this was a very antiquated MRI machine. I also had a CAT scan and a personal were far more accommodating. I've had many many MRIs, and this is by far the worst experience I've had.

The expert anesthesiologist was Dr Catherine Xia and sedation was administered. The extraordinary compassionate nursing team was Keran L, Jessica T and Katie K. I woke up hearing them talking around me. I was kept for another couple of hours for the cement to solidify. I felt a mild pain on the way home with my husband. The pain gradually went away. I was wearing a back support just because I felt secure. I followed the orders diligently and didn't carry stuff or do any work in the house. On the 23rd, I called our ER doctor-daughter in Rush University Hospital, Chicago, and shared the experience with her. She was surprised, concerned, and sad that she couldn't be with me. I told her that I was in good hands and I had daughters and sons working at Hoag Hospital taking excellent care of me while she was doing the same for patients in the Rush Hospital, where she was working. Talking to our daughter gave me strength to drive to the nearby store to get a few groceries. On the 24th, I removed the plaster and had a shower. Yesterday, on the 25th, our neuroradiologist-son called me and asked how I was doing and whether I had any pain. I thanked him for his call and told him not to worry about me, and I was doing well. Today is Thursday. This event happened exactly one week ago. Dr Mesipam, I was a total stranger to you when you decided to perform the meticulous surgery on me. You explained to me the risks. However, I didn't have any problem in totally trusting you and your dexterous skills, as if you are my own son. The office staff, facility, and medical providers have repeatedly exceeded my expectations, and I credit this clinic with helping me through several serious health episodes, including UTIs that nearly progressed to sepsis. This is why I chose them as my family practice. During this recent visit, I had been traveling frequently and experiencing health concerns, so I came in for a preventative care visit/checkup. I met with Dr. Khan (Dr.K), who was exceptional...Insightful, thorough, attentive, and proactive. He ordered appropriate tests, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt supported and understood. He asked that I return the next morning for fasted bloodwork, which I did. When I returned, I requested a brief consultation to ask a follow-up question I had forgotten during my initial visit. The front desk kindly informed me that only a Nurse Practitioner was available. In my history with Nurse Practitioners, they have been just as helpful and knowledgeable to address my questions and concerns as MDs. I have a great respect for all medical professionals, whether MD, DO, NP, PA, etc. I was more than comfortable meeting with any medical provider available as my primary care provider. However, my experience with the NP I met, Vanessa, was the complete opposite of the standard I've come to appreciate here. She spent less than 10 minutes with me, was dismissive and condescending, and showed no interest in my symptoms, concerns, or medical history. She asked no clarifying questions and offered no meaningful assessment. It was the least professional interaction I've ever had at this clinic, and one of the worst I've experienced in the U.S. medical system overall. For anyone seeking thoughtful, intentional, and high-quality care at this practice, I strongly recommend seeing any provider other than NP Vanessa. This practice does not offer appointments, so I would advise just calling the front desk staff who are exceedingly helpful and lovely, and ask how to avoid coming in on a day where the NP Vanessa is working. I would suggest you seek care from anyone else at this establishment, if you hope to engage with a medical provider that is willing, attentive, thoughtful, and caring. Aside from my one terrible experience, every other interaction I've had at Irvine Urgent Care has been excellent. Had my first brain MRI here. God bless Moses, who took such amazing care of me. I was able to use foam earplugs, and then Moses gave me headphones and an eye mask. He asked what kind of music I wanted and I said "something happy" and his selection for me was perfect. He constantly spoke to me through the headphones, letting me know what to expect, and how many more minutes, and checking on me. I arrived at around 7:10am and was out the door by 7:50am. Fountain Valley is open til 8, which is super convenient for people who can't make it by 5. Since my husband was already pre-registered and he had checked in online, this location was a breeze. Only one lady was working, she was handling the check in desk and performing the X-rays, and she did an amazing job at dealing with it all. My husband was seen within 10 mins of being there, and once his X-rays were done, we received his disc to take to his ortho within about 5 minutes. I will say it was sort of confusing cause there is no sign on the building, or on the directory, but we figured out it is inside of the Urgent Care. They could do a better job with signage for sure. Overall though, no complaints about this location!
