They are very slow service, I called for appointment and wait for long time no one answer only machine.

I went in today for an ultrasound. I did have an appointment and came early to sign paperwork etc. *The building they're located in needs LARGE NUMBERS ON TOP to be able to find it quickly VS driving around which is maddening. *The lobby isn't big enough for appropriate social distancing when I see the number of people seated there. The front office staff was busy handling incoming patients reporting in, answering phones, and computer work. They were very nice and professional when I reported in. My ultrasound technician was Kelly and she is *MARVELLOUS*! Kelly was very professional and so very kind. She explained what she was doing which helped me to relax as I was nervous. The room was nice, quiet, and dark that I nearly fell asleep lol. The procedure was done quickly and the next thing I know I'm in the main building lobby filling in a yelp review for them. I'm very satisfied with my visit and I do recommend Newport Imaging (for ultrasounds) Hopefully Kelly will be working the day you need to go in. read more

Zero star. Don't use this Newhope imaging center. Staff and the manager Leh Marcus are very rude and unprofessional. They will hang up the phones when you call to give your negative feedbacks and no way you can call them back because they just never pick up your phone calls since they know your number. Good lucks in calling them. They have zero respect for patiet privacy at the front desk. They just left my DL, medical ID, and medical history forms exposed to other patients. It was HIPAA violation. When I called to give my feedbacks with the administrative manager, Leh Marcus, she said just go somewhere next time, then disconnected the phone. Really bad and disrespectful customer services from top to bottom because they think they will never be fired from Tenet Health. read more

Note this has nothing to do with the ultrasound tech, but the facility's policies. I went in for a 20 week anatomy ultrasound for my baby. I was not allowed to see my child even after measurements were taken and I was not able to bring home photos. I have had this ultrasound done with my previous pregnancy and I was able to watch the whole time and receive numerous pictures. As a former ultrasound tech, I find this location to be very cold and disheartening. I feel as if I am forced to spend my own money for a private ultrasound just to see my child when this should never be the case. read more

Do NOT use this clinic. They hide the fact that they are NOT contracted with your insurance, and then bill you for thousands in illegal "surprise" billing several months later from a previously undisclosed affiliate. They refuse to accept as payment rates that are contracted for others, insisting on their "rack rate" highly inflated fees. They should not be in business, and their corporate parent Tenet refuses to respond, even when sending the issue to their compliance department, which is a requirement for health care entities. read more

Poor service. Have been trying to make an appt for two weeks can't get past the hold button. Sometimes they don't even answer with their business name, send me straight to hold and don't pick up, not even after 15 minutes. Have your Dr find a different diagnostic center if you can. read more

This place is the worst when it comes to money. I had no issues with the staff that helped me with my MRI. But they tried to charge me $466.14 when my copay was only $45. They said if I did not want to pay the full $466.17, I could pay 80% of that which was $93.23. On top of that, they sent me several bills requiring me to pay my $45 copay AGAIN. It's been six months and I still cannot get them to refund me the $48.23 that I overpaid to them. Their billing department is the worst and they are some of the most unhelpful people I have ever spoken with. They have no issues taking your money from you but God forbid they have to give it back. read more

- Locale Destination - It's on Newhope St and Mt Hermann St in Fountain Valley. It's in the business /office place. All the buildings were all in white and looked alike. The building (#17815) has lots of offices and each office is located in alphabetical orders (A to S I believe). This place is #S - at the corner of the building. The signs for the whole building are super small and white. Plenty of parking. The place looked small from outside, but inside was kinda big. You check in and fill out the form for the first-timer. The staff were friendly. The decor is simple and clean. It's a medical clinic - what else do you expect?! ;p I've suffered from pains on lower back for over 3 months - probably due to the muscle spasms. My X-ray was fine. So I was sent here for MRI. ******** For the first timer on MRI ******** - No metal on your body (no bra), but ok to wear clothing during the scan :) They let you take off your clothing with metal (belt, bra etc.) at the dressing room. You bring your stuff with you and leave it by the MRI machine. - You might not like it if you were "Claustrophobic" I'm not a fan of elevator nor small & cramped places. I was ok because my head was out (maybe due to my "lower back" scan?!. I'm not a doctor, so I don't know) from the tube, listening to music with a headphone and I could talk to the staff during scanning. I'm not fat, yet not skinny. The tube was pretty tight - even for me. I wouldn't like it if I had to be in the tube (from head to toe) for the 15 minutes or so. - You need to stay "still" during it For the better results. Try to hold still as much as you can. - They'll give you the scans and CD quite soon. - Conqueror's Deduction - I hope you don't need to do this, but it was very quick and painless procedures. read more

I am a medical assistant and had to call this location to request for an MRI report for a patient in office. When the lady answered the phone she asked me what I needed and I told her and then she proceeds to say we already faxed it over to the provider would you like for me to do it again and I said "yes, but can you...." and she said okay bye and hung up in my face! I was going to ask her to fax it to our office fax number. I then called back because I found that extremely rude and I still needed the information. When she answered she was rude yet again. I then told her I found it very rude that you hung up on my face in the middle of my sentence, she then proceeds to say VERY rudely "is there something I can help you with" ignoring literally everything I just said. I then tell her she can be nicer and get some better customer service. She asked me my name and I told her I'm not telling her and then asked for her name. She said it was Rosemary but idk if I believe that. So whomever was working and answering phone calls on FRIDAY 7/24/2020 around 1-2 pm NEEDS BETTER TRAINING!! I won't say don't come to this location due to this one person but Newhope imaging please be mindful of the people you are hiring and make sure they provide the necessary customer service that is EXPECTED!!! This place is only good for simple x-ray procedures. If you needed complex tests such as MRI or CT, think elsewhere. I brought in MRI results from diff facility for them to do comparisons when conduct my MRI. They made copies for their record but on their poorly written report, they stated that they didn't have anything to compare with. When reading over the result, it's total garbage. As if, "here, I did the test. This is the overview result." The result lacks details and care. Also, when doing the MRI, instead of providing earplugs to block out the loud machine noises, they give you headphones with loud radio music to drown out the noises. Not only did you have to endure loud machine noises but also loud music; going to end up deaf either way. Very disappointed when looking over useless MRI result. Should've stuck with other facility for MRI. At least they have old results to make comparisons read more

I went in for an MRI for my knee today. I was very impressed with the COVID precautions the center took for the safety of their staff and patients. Shannon, the radiology technician was extremely kind and understanding. She talked me through the MRI, and eased my nerves. She made the experience as comfortable as possible. read more

After many years of superlative service, they finally slipped. I made an appointment and called back immediately and DEFINITELY changed it with the lady who made it originally, When I arrived today, the appointment time had NOT been changed - wasted my time and miles. If you use them, INSIST on some kind of appointment confirmation or record the call so you can play it back if they screw it up like mine. I will use them again if they adopt an on-line appointment system - like they should have years ago. The staff and equipment is fine, but computer software is better at making appointments - can't be distracted. read more

Unorganized scheduling. My mother arrived as scheduled with their office staff and was told she had no appointment. Come to find out it was an office error after calling them to find out why she wasn't being seen after I personally made the appointment. Then on the rescheduled visit she waited for almost 2hrs because they happened to be behind schedule. Complete disregard for people's time and their office manager really needs a performance review to correct their scheduling issues. read more

Office staff is very disorganized. I went in just to make an appointment. It took over 10 minutes before someone asked what I needed. My paperwork was taken and then I was asked to take a seat. After almost an additional 30 minutes passed, I requested my paperwork be returned and left with no appointment. read more

Service here is very lacking. It seems that they overbook their appointments and then just tell their patients to wait for over an hour to get even a simple x-Ray. Doctor wanted to get a copy of the X-ray on a CD. Technician said it would take 5 minutes, but it actually took more than 30 minutes to get the CD. If you are too busy, then just tell me it will take 30 minutes. Don't say 5. read more

I am a physician and very demanding when it comes to the quality of the care I receive. I was referred her by my oral surgeon for an MRI. I have been to several other facilities over the years so I am able to compare. I called at 8:15 on a Friday morning and was able to get a same day appointment. The parking and access are excellent, I was able to park right outside the entrance. The staff was EXTREMELY pleasant and courteous, as well as efficient. The wait time was minimal, The MRI tech was ready for me before I finished the paper work. I have a high deductible and was paying cash for the procedure. The prices are the best I have seen ANYWHERE. This will definitely be a new referral location for my practice. read more

I have been to this location multiple times for imaging work for my mother. While I have no issues with the medical staff performing the actual imaging, I must confess that the front office staff is awful. They are brusque bordering on rude. With three people working the front desk yesterday, one was on the phone, one left the desk to destinations unknown, & the third announced loudly that she was leaving for lunch. Not such a big deal except that there were several patients, my mother included, waiting to be checked in & no one paid any attention to us. I wish that these people would realize that first impressions mean a great deal and they provide those impressions. Please wake up and remember that you are the face of your office. read more

This is by far THE WORST facility that I've ever been! Customer service is awful from front desk to billing department. I have a big co-pay with my insurance and knowing that, I decided to call to different imaging centers to ask for a quote. I specifically asked the value of a ultrasound which I provided the code gave by the doctor to know the value that I'd pay and for a trasvaginal US to know availability of pregnancy I'd be charged $150 before insurance co-pays. Because my doctor office was charging me $200, even though it would be faster through them, I decided to save up money and schedule with Newhope. Getting there, the front desk person told me that my name couldn't be found on the system and that I probably got the wrong place, I kept saying I scheduled the correct place, showed the number that I called and a 2nd front desk person saw that I was indeed scheduled and the first receptionist was wrong, even though never said sorry and just asked me to leave the place because I probably had booked it wrongly. The Facility is awful, super simple compared with others, which I thought it was ok back them because of the price. They have only a small screen that only the thecnician look at and don't provide you with any update, even the simplest one, by saying that she wasn't a doctor and couldn't tell us anything. The other places that I went have 2 screens, one bigger that the mother can see while laying there. The technicians also are able to provide better info. After a couple of months, the bill came charging me the astounding amount of $295!!! I called the bill center and talked to a person called Ashley who said they provided an "estimation" --- doubled the price! She kept trying to confuse the issues and didn't help at all even been a bit sarcastic or just not helpful at all as probably following a wrong policy of the company. I'll call my insurance and go ahead with this matter because it is unscrupulously wrong and fraudulently mislead patients to pay less and after charge way more for their poor services. read more

I've been coming here for imaging for years. It's a very efficient, clean facility and my technologist today named Thao was very sweet and helpful. They also have a special parking area for the Newhope Imaging Center (it's in the midst of a fairly large medical center ). Highly recommend! read more

Terrible service! I went in for a foot x-ray, and after 2 visits, they still couldn't accomplish this simple task. The first visit, they told me that their systems were down and couldn't tell me what my insurance would cover, but I still had to sign the financial responsibility forms. I was told "Don't worry, we will just bill you." I said "absolutely not", they actually wanted to hook me into x-rays before working out my insurance coverage. Then I was penalized for even questioning them by being told it will be a long wait while they contact my insurance company. I decided to come back when they got their act together, but to no avail. I was penalized again by being told I had a long wait ahead of me, I chose to go elsewhere. They are extremely unprofessional, I will make sure my insurance company doesn't waste a dime on this outfit. read more

Front desk staff are unfriendly and unprofessional. Made MRI appointment for last Thursday. Showed up on time. Checked in and waited, checked with desk after 30 mins for update...told they were getting setup. After an hour they called us to say we were scheduled for the wrong type of MRI, and that they couldn't do it. We had to reschedule. Rescheduled right then for a week later qt 1030. Front desk staff wrote 1030 clearly on the appointment slip. Showed up 15 mins early and checked in. 30 min after appointment time I went to ask for an update again. Told our appointment is at 1130 not 1030. I had to have them pull up the sheet that they wrote in that says 1030, they did, then they all started conversing about some other kind of procedure that needed to be done first (I have no idea what it was). Then they let me know they were just now setting up the room at 1100. So I asked again, was our appointment at 1030 or 1130? Answer 1030, but they're system doesn't show the front desk people everything scheduled. Makes no sense and all the while I'm being talked to like am an idiot for asking because they're "system" shows the appointment at 1130. I have no confidence in an accurate MRI now. During my 2 hours of waiting in the waiting room, I listened to multiple problems all of which were brushed aside by the staff. Unprofessional. Educate your front desk staff. read more

No one wants to have to go get a CAT scan....but if you do, Newhope Imaging is the place. The Front Desk people were polite and helpful. I arrived a little early and they took me in earlier than my appointment. What makes this a stellar experience is the person that took care of me through the process- Cynthia . She is wonderful! So far, not so good. Made an appt. over the phone for this last Monday for an MRI. The lady I spoke too took all my info, insurance and doctor orders. She told me the time of my appt. I show up on Monday and a less than helpful person tells me I don't have an appt.....then just hands me back my ID and insurance card. Doesn't say anything and goes back to work. Luckily there was a much more helpful person who was paying attention. She asked me a few questions. I told her my orthopedic surgeon referred me and I have an appt. with him that Thursday to go over my MRI results. The "not so helpful" receptionist says she can make me an appt. the next Friday, almost two weeks later. "Helpful lady" catches on that I have my appt. with my Surgeon on Thursday. So in the end, they made an appt. for me for two days later at 3:15, we'll 3:30 but tell me go arrive 15 mins early. I arrived on time, filled out all the necessary paperwork prior to arriving and I am still stilling in the waiting room. It is now 4:05 and no one has said a word to me. NOT impressed, won't be back and will definitely let my surgeon know he should stop recommending this place. Lots of options to get X-rays, MRI's, etc. Do not come here. Might update after I am actually see Update- I received a patient survey and responded with the same review as I have here. A day later I received a call from a manager named Karen. She apologized and said she will be speaking with the front office staff. I greatly appreciate management taking our concerns seriously, following up on them and putting actions in to place to better service their clients. My doctor sent me to this office for an ultrasound. The ultrasound tech was nice and made me feel comfortable during my entire visit. I gave the ladies at the front desk my insurance card and completed all paperwork. Approximately 8 weeks later I received a bill from New Hope Imaging. I called the billing department and was on hold for at least 30 minutes. When I finally spoke to someone she said they didn't file a claim with my insurance because they didn't have the mailing address. I looked on the internet, got the mailing adress and gave it to NHIC. Received another bill and I call NHIC again. The representative said they sent the paperwork, however the address she said it was sent to wasn't the address I gave them. I gave them the address again and assumed everything was taken care of until i received another bill from NHIC. I called my insurance company this time and they said it wasn't anything that I didn't do that was keeping NHIC from being paid, but NHIC did not provide them with information that needed. It had nothing to do with my information but NHIC. New Hope was notified as to what information they needed to send. A few months later NHIC sent a bill and a notice threatening to report me to a collection agency. I called NHIC and told them the problems I've been having and NHIC ask me what is it that I want them to do? I spoke with a different representative and she said she would speak with the manager, call my insurance company, and call me back the same day. She didn't call back and now I will be calling NHIC again. We have been a military family for over 20 years and have never had this experience. I just can't believe the problems and awful customer service I have received from NHIC billing department. Unprofessional and incompetent staff. read more
