Very appointment friendly. Never had an issue getting an MRI appointment on short notice here. (Of course with no insurance hiccups). I think they have their system dialed down pretty well and I've had numerous imaging done here. Pretty easy process. Clean facility and friendly staff. This facility is the absolute best! The people working here are so so nice and accommodating it's easy to park they run on schedule and they get you in and out. I didn't have to follow up for anything they gave me my CD as soon as I left the imaging room and my report was emailed to me within 48 hours. If I ever need imaging done this is the place I'll go to. read more

My son injured his knee on his dirt bike and his orthopedic specialist ordered a MRI. The location recommended could not get us in for almost 2 weeks. Thankfully, Advantage MRI was recommended to us from a friend. I called this morning and was able to get a same-day appointment. I also planned to pay cash, but the team at Advantage MRI took the time to call my insurance and obtained authorization. They provided excellent care for my son. I have been putting off my appointment because I was afraid of being claustrophobic. I spoke with Jackie a few times before my actual appointment. She was very helpful, comforting and caring and provided many helpful tips for me to get through it. If requested, they will actually blindfold you in the waiting room so that when you walk into the actual MRI room, you do not see anything. I did not opt for that because I was OK with seeing the actual Machine advantage MRI has wider bore machines in my case. It was OK because I did opt to be blindfolded right before they slid me into the MRI machine. They give me headphones and earplugs so I was able to hear some soothing music and the machine noises were muffled. My main concern was the fear of claustrophobia as soon as I walked in, Jackie treated me with so much kindness and concern. She was amazing absolutely amazing and her assistant Sarah were phenomenal. This is the kind of care that everyone should have no matter what facility they visit! I do hope that Jackie and Sarah know that there level of knowledge care comfort and concern did not go unnoticed. I would've never made it through without them. They also let my husband in the room while the procedure was being done. He was able to hold my leg and it felt so much better that I knew I had somebody there. One good thing that my husband was telling me is that I shouldn't worry because my entire body was not inside the MRI machine. It was from my stomach up since it was a brain MRI I had a MRI without contrast. Total time was about 40 minutes. I do have to say walking in the front desk. Ladies were not as kind as Jackie and Sarah. They need to work on that at the front desk. read more

No complaints at all, really. Very organized and friendly office. The girl at the front desk was really pleasant and thorough. She made me feel right at home and took the time to get both of my doctor's information so that they were able to both get the results. No confusion, no attitude, just helpful and personable. I appreciate that in medical staff! I do need to say that the woman putting me IN the machine and running my test was not very friendly or warm. But she was adequate and explained things to me so I knew what was going on and what was going to be happening. I had 2 lengthy MRIs, so I was there over 2.5 hours. Once my tests were over, a male angel named Robbie/Roby (however he spells it) helped me out of the machine with a huge smile and a wonderful attitude!! If he were the technician throughout my whole visit, I would have not one thing negative to say about this place at all!! On the way out of my testing, I was given my CD with the test and also confirmation that the results will be at both of my doctor's offices with in 24-48 hours. Plus the real wonderful gesture is the rose given to patients. MRIs are not a fun thing but my experience at Advantage MRI was seamless and flawless, I would 100% have complete faith in them should I need to have any further testing done now or in the future. I called when they opened, I was given an appointment same day at 1:45. Being the Monday before Thanksgiving, I didn't expect to get an appointment so soon. The front office staff Alyssa, Janet and Lucia were extremely caring, professional and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The MRI Tech. Jackie was professional and very patient. Making sure I was comfortable before beginning my MRI. I've had a previous back surgery and cannot express how grateful and how I truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism. Being in pain and anxious, she was very reassuring and calming. My entire experience with the ladies at Advantage MRI-Brea, from scheduling my appointment to the completion of my imaging, was a very pleasant experience and one I wanted to share. Was referred here by my attorney. Needed MRI for my back from a car accident. Office is clean, front desk young lady was cheerful and it was 6:45am. The changing room had gowns for all sizes folded neatly. The room also locks with a key. You can take your test knowing your items are safe locked in the room. My technician was very professional and nice. I believe his name was Rob. He offered me ear plugs or headphones before I entered the machine. I chose earphones and he asked what I liked to listen to. Very sweet. :) Everything was modern, sanitized and in order. He helped me off the table when the procedure was done. I'm posting this review because at the end of my visit before I left I was given a single rose as a thank you for coming in. It brightened my day because I was miserable from the test, and also felt drained after being in the confined space of the MRI machine for so long. The rose took my mind off all that and it made me feel so much better. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Jackie and Sarah were amazing at making sure I felt calm and comfortable during my shoulder MRI. They talked me through the entire procedure and ensured I knew what was happening. The MRI tunnel can be uncomfortable due to the confinement, but these ladies are stellar at ensuring I was ok and understood what was happening as well as timeline. The front office team is also very helpful and ensure your needs and questions are answered. Would def recommend them! When I arrived there was a power outage and my appointment was delayed. Despite circumstances being out of their control, the staff was very professional and respectful of my time. The front staff was courteous and professional but the lady performing the MRI was cold and lacked basic patient communication skills. She cuts you off when speaking to her multiple times and makes you feel like you are wasting her time. I also had a back/spine issue and had a hard time getting off the table but she offered me no support to help me get up off the table. She expected that I would hear her instructions succinctly after placing headphones over my ears and then acts gruff when I asked her to repeat herself? She definitely did not live up to any form of "MRI with Compassion" advertised by the company. She acted to me like she rather be somewhere else rather than helping patients. You get a rose at the end of your session! This is like the freaking Bachelor of MRIs. Their motto is MRI with compassion and they absolutely live up to it. I came here after a different diagnostic center was incredibly busy and this center was able to accommodate me so quickly. They checked all the insurance for me and took care of the authorizations. The office is located in a very posh and clean complex - with a soup plantation for after you finish! My technician was so positive and friendly - and she's the only other person I met who loves MRIs as much as I do. The facility is so comfortable and upscale compared to most imaging centers, and they even give you a choice of music with Spotify to listen to. read more

I recently visited Advantage MRI after talking with my orthopedic surgeon. She would only recommend two MRIs for quality (one being the hospital) and Advantage. I visited Advantage after the hospital said my appointment would be a month out (I'm so glad they did). This gave me the chance to try Advantage MRI and although I don't write many reviews, this place is impressive and I felt I should. Very professional office staff and technician, short wait, thorough prep. Clean and easy to get to with fast return on results and high quality imaging as opposed to many others. I was so amazed on how friendly and professional the entire staff was. They greet you with a smile from the moment you walk in door. The tech that did my MRI was very friendly, the fact that he was a male made me a bit uncomfortable. But it only lasted a minute because of how friendly and PROFESSIONAL he was and that made a big difference. The wait time was very reasonable and not long at all. I was complaining about the long drive from my home to there. At the end that was not important at all by time I was done with my appointment I was a happy camper.To put icing on my visit I got a beautiful red rose!! What a bunch of incompetent individuals. Scheduling appointments with them is a nightmare. They give you a date, then cancel the day before because of scheduling problems. Or, call you saying you missed an appointment that you know nothing about. Incompetence!! I doubt they would give the doctor the right set of MRI images. read more

My review is based on the horrible experience I had with the billing person. I had my MRI done about 3 weeks ago. I had nothing but positive experience about getting MRI done at Brea location. Scheduling appointment was easy, front desk staff were kind, technicians were accommodating and helpful. After I paid with health care reimbursement card, I asked for an itemized receipt. They said, billing is done outside of their office and it will be mailed to me in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, it did not show up. At this point, I am getting emails from health care reimbursement office to submit my receipt (not credit card receipt) otherwise, they will freeze my account. I called the office and they forwarded my call to this billing person. This person was unprofessional, gave unclear excuses of why the receipt was not mailed. I finally asked her to email me the receipt. During the conversation, it was very clear to me that she was not paying attention to what I was saying so I had to give the information about my visit several times. In the end, she said "i will email you now". The email did not show up. A day later, I called again and my call is forwarded to the same billing person. She took my email address again and said "I will email you in 5 minutes". I asked what her name was and she mumbled so bad I could not understand what she said. 10 minutes later, still no email and I had to contact the manager to address my issue. Again, my experience with Advantage MRI was nothing but positive until I had to deal with the billing person. Unfortunately, one bad apple spoiled the whole barrel. read more
