Even though it is not usually covered by insurance, once you get older, my doctor likes to order a calcium score test every five years to access heart attack risk. Luckily, my score was 0 (perfect) five years ago, and it was time for a recheck. This time, I was referred to Imaging Partners in Orange. I called to schedule an appointment and Elyssa was so friendly and helpful. They had a cancellation and were able to book me only two days out. She took all of my prerequisite information quickly and sent me a link to complete some paperwork online ahead of time. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and was impressed by their very modern and clean facility. Check-in was a breeze since I completed the forms online ahead of time. I only waited about five minutes and was called back. My tech Khan was very friendly and made everything a breeze. I laid on the bed feet first and he put a few heart electrodes on my chest. The bed raises and slides you into the center of the CT machine. It was not claustrophobic at all, and the CT machine spinning made very little noise. An automated voice instructs you to hold your breath twice for about five seconds, and then again twice for about 15 seconds as the bed slowly moves back and forth through the ring taking images. The process only took about five minutes, and I was in and out of the office in about fifteen minutes. I took the test on a Friday afternoon and the results will be sent to my doctor and posted in their online portal for me to view on Monday. Insurance usually doesn't cover this test, and the cash price was only $200. I had a great experience here, and will look forward to coming back in five years. read more

I just left Imaging Partners. I was really impressed. The entire staff was really friendly, the office was beautiful and clean, and I only had to wait about five minutes to be seen. That's unheard of! However, the main reason I decided to write a review was to say thank you to Jerome, my MRI tech. I needed an MRI with contrast, but I have a severe needle phobia. Jerome put me right at ease. He alleviated all my fears and concerns, and he let me know what was happening every step of the process. He even gave me options regarding an IV or a butterfly and completely explained both of them to me. Jerome's patience, kindness, and professionalism truly meant the world to me. My physician authorized a routine CT coronary calcium scan, I called Blue Shield who confirmed they covered the procedure at. $30 copay. I responded immediately to Imaging Partner's text messages to complete the online forms with insurance details. All forms were completed and my insurance card was accepted. I showed up 15 minutes early. Receptionist immediately asked me how I planned to pay the $200 charge and that this routine scan was not usually covered by insurance! That is conjecture and unprofessional. He had the authorization from my physician on his screen yet insisted I had to provide the physician's "order". So I am in the lobby on the Providence app looking for the "physician's order" and the tech calls me in.. I go in having no idea if they would deny my insurance later. So I went in for the scan deciding to deal with this guy after. After the scan I actually found the printed authorization in my vehicle and brought it in to show him there was no references about a "physician's order" on the printout of the detailed authorization for Imaging Partners to perform this scan. But alas: receptionist finally FOUND the order himself navigating thru Imaging Partner's billing system. No apologies from him. I tried to confirm he concurred with Blue Cross's $30 copay and he said they don't "handle copays".. so weird when the first words out of his mouth were about how I planned to pay. The tech and procedure was super efficient. However if you absolutely must use this provider do your due diligence with your insurance company, print out all document's (yea: you get to be a boomer) including physician's order before you get there. Update In fairness: the paper document system my Providence St. Joseph Heritage primary care physician group relies on yet I opted out of is as much of this problem as this provider's inability to access digital documents from physician referrals. Providence has been aggressively scooping up small private hospitals each with their own records management system and has done a shitty job integrating their records with the partners they outsource services to By the way I normally compose 5 Star reviews. Go thru them. Otherwise I try to cut slack and be fair. read more

Wow. This is chaos! A whole room full of people. Check in at kiosks is a joke. From the kiosk requesting a PASSWORD, so I needed to get the front desk nurse to open it, to the "final" screen having ONLY two choices "BACK" OR "RESTART" - so the nurse said- here let me help you up here. Nurses kept calling patients who did not answer and the snarky front desk said, they had already been called back, but we are backed up because people keep needing help with the kiosks. There were MULTIPLE PROBLEMS with the kiosks and many savvy women had issues. The front desk treated everyone rudely. Then she argued with me that "it worked for other patients" which is a LIE. 4 WOMEN HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE KIOSKS. VERY BAD OFFICE. EXPERIENCE. read more

I needed a CT scan for my kidney stone surgery. I contacted them, provided my surgeon's requisition form (which was a STAT order, as I was having the surgery the following week), and my insurance information. After not hearing back from them two days later, I just couldn't wait any longer (as my surgery date would have been postponed), so I went somewhere else and had the scan completed. Imaging Partners' manager texts me back TWO WEEKS LATER saying that they couldn't verify my insurance. Calling them incompetent morons would be an insult to incompetent morons. read more

horrible customer service via phone. For Medical Records you have to call over and over to get anything sent to your other doctors. As I was on hold for over 20 minutes listening to annoys music, I get a canned message saying" we are updating our systems so you may have long wait times(no kidding) but this will make our systems more efficient". what a joke. Check-in was seamless. All staff, starting with the person who scheduled my MRI, to the person who performed my MRI were all professional and efficient. Jerome was my technician and he was empathetic about the difficulty maintaining a awkward position in the MRI machine. He was supportive and friendly. The gal who scheduled my MRI put me on a cancellation list and held true to her word and called me when there was a cancellation. The front office person was cheerful and appeared to like his job. TERRIBLE customer service. Here for an ultrasound and they act like their job is more important than my baby/my understanding of how MY baby is doing. They need to remember this is an industry where we select health providers. We are customers and they are not in control. I'm not asking for any medical details, recommendations, or results. But this tech refuses to let me see the monitor which is beyond absurd. I will never be back and hope that any other expecting mother goes to a facility that leads with family first. read more

There is always a long line to register and check in. My 1st ultrasound here was not great. Cold gel with a cold attitude from the tech. She was a mask nazi and got off on telling me to adjust the mask to cover my nose. Not very nice. at all. She left gel on my belly and table so it got all over my clothes. 2nd ultrasound, the check in line was even worse. I waited 45 min to get in. They require you drink 16 oz of water 30 min b4 your appt. Imagine my bladder. Just imagine - pure torture. But this tech was very nice, more detailed and the gel was warm not ice cold like last time. She wiped the get off pretty good. Better but mixed experience. read more

April 15, i had an appointment at 4:30pm, i encountered an accident on the freeway driving to the office and attempted to call the office to inform them with no answer. i arrived and was waiting in line to check in at 4:35pm, fully accepting that i may be turned away and asked to reschedule since i was in fact late. Upon being assisted by the receptionist, she was very rude to me and mocked me in front of the other patients in the lounge when i told her there was a big accident on the freeway on my way there. fortunately the ultrasound technician was very nice and made the process quick, easy and comforting. i will not return to this facility for future imaging needs. the front desk staff was unprofessional and did not create a welcoming environment for PATIENTS coming in to have medical imaging done. read more

I came here for an ultrasound and my experience was great. Three waiting room is very large and clean. I was taken in less than ten minutes from my appointment time. There's a locker where you can undress, put on a robe and store your stuff. The ultrasound technician was great. She was professional, and friendly. The ultrasound took a while because the baby was taking a while turning over but she did whatever she had to do to get the images wee needed and afterwards even showed us all the anatomy and printed pictures for us. This place was professional and didn't push you to purchase a bunch of extra services (other imaging places did that). The only thing I thought was a little weird was that they wanted me to pay $5 to sign up for their portal to view the images. However, you don't have to do that since your doctor receives the results anyways. They said the results would be sent over the next day but it took a few days extra. All in all this place is excellent and definitely my to go page to get an ultrasound done. read more

MRD has changed forever. Their billing is outsourced to the Philippines and they know nothing about HIPAA compliance. Calling the office is horrible. No one picks up the phone ever and the phone hangs up on you. I would never ever use them again. Sadly, I am trying to resolve a bill with them to bill my Aunts secondary insurance and they are incompetent. They used to be ran so well and MRD were doctors that cared so much. It appears they are probably retired or completely detached from what is going on now. Find another option for your imaging needs, as they are falling apart billing and systems wise. Beware of this location & the one on Main Street.. I couldn't type what quality of care because there wasn't any, it was more demeaning. My goodness, my doctor's office not only sent me but also my relative here. There are two locations. The staff on the phone are extremely rude. I wish I had read the reviews before bringing my relative here. There were three patients in the lobby waiting, but the tech on a Saturday decided he was gonna take a coffee break and shoot the breeze as if nobody was there complaining how he didn't get to be hired at the other location off of Main Street. That went off for about 10 to 20 minutes. After he was done, he said oh I better go clean the machines for the next patient. Literally, he deliberately set out to be mean because he was unhappy with his work situation. My relative went to the restroom really quick with her jacket on, and he was quite rude and said you can't wear that back there. They replied that they weren't planning to. While they finally got called to get their MRI done while I was waiting. My relative got chewed out by the tech that they were moving then they said it was their feet then they changed it. And I don't understand if you're so unhappy with your job then quit. It's better than treating people like crud. So I called to see about parking for the main street Location. The person that answered the phone today. Acted like there was no such location. Then I repeated it and they said no that's not right. And that was the last straw. All I wanted to know is how much for parking. I call back later since that person hung up on me and I got somebody that was nice and I canceled my appointment. I would literally Prefer being dead in the street with broken legs than even being near any one of those people to take care of me. Read the reviews for stay away from this place. It is horrible and I mean it both locations. Dear God did you read all of the reviews 98 point percent of them are about how bad it's run. Don't let your doctor send you here it's awful. if negative zeroes. They obviously don't care to retrain their people because there are so many bad reviews on here. Scheduled for a MRI, got an appointment within 2 weeks. Got texts confirming appointment 2 days prior. Arrived half hour early as instructed, filled out questionaires, was taken in for the scan within 5 minutes. This facility is nice, clean, quiet, large with multiple MRIs and X-ray machines with half a dozen staff. Changed to a robe and went in the MRI machine. The scan took about 15 minutes. I was out the door in 20 minutes total. Test result was sent to my MDs the same afternoon. The people here are professional, pleasant and efficient. Service was right on time. recommended. read more

Found it easy to make an appointment once I had my referral. I left a message and they called back. Front desk personnel show little concern for patients. My guess untrained in medical protocol, just medical billing types with a few hours of study. The tech for my CT scan was polite and courteous. He explained the procedure and helped me feel comfortable . Heres the weird part, the lobby door is locked during regular hours. You have to tap on the door to get in. The desk clerk barks about standing " behind that sign" . Her chance to assert some authority. Office manager needs to be booted out and get someone who will enforce medical office etiquette.
