The pricing is very affordable with the amount of scan and result that you got. The peace of mind after the thorough scan of your body is priceless. Appointment was easily made. The great owner Sean was able to put me in in 2 days. And he was so caring and personally assuring throughout the whole process. Identifying possible problems right after. The MRI experience is not as scary as I thought. He assured me in every process and you are not going to stuck inside for hours. He let you came out and back in periodically. The ultrasound process is as amazing as the MRI. This is not the first time I did ultrasound. But he knows exactly where and what to look for and show me exactly what my body is doing at the same time. We got a short consultation right after the scan and a detailed board certified report a few days later. Also, all imaging will be given to you in a flash drive. Amazing service. The only thing is it's a little hard to look for. Remember you are looking for a trailer in a parking marked with Siemens. (See my picture). It's next to the medical building. Pricing was also very affordable compared to a lot of other imaging centers, which I appreciated. The only downside was the image quality. When I later went in for surgery, my doctor mentioned that the MRI imaging quality was not very good, which makes me think they may be using an older machine or older equipment. That said, the staff experience was excellent and the gentleman helping me was extremely kind and professional. If you're looking for a lower-cost MRI option and a smooth experience, this place works well. But if you specifically need the highest-quality imaging for something serious or surgical, you may want to consider a facility with newer equipment.

I met with Dr. Khan (Dr.K), who was exceptional...Insightful, thorough, attentive, and proactive. He ordered appropriate tests, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt supported and understood. He asked that I return the next morning for fasted bloodwork, which I did. When I returned, I requested a brief consultation to ask a follow-up question I had forgotten during my initial visit. The front desk kindly informed me that only a Nurse Practitioner was available. In my history with Nurse Practitioners, they have been just as helpful and knowledgeable to address my questions and concerns as MDs. I have a great respect for all medical professionals, whether MD, DO, NP, PA, etc. I was more than comfortable meeting with any medical provider available as my primary care provider. However, my experience with the NP I met, Vanessa, was the complete opposite of the standard I've come to appreciate here. She spent less than 10 minutes with me, was dismissive and condescending, and showed no interest in my symptoms, concerns, or medical history. She asked no clarifying questions and offered no meaningful assessment. It was the least professional interaction I've ever had at this clinic, and one of the worst I've experienced in the U.S. medical system overall. For anyone seeking thoughtful, intentional, and high-quality care at this practice, I strongly recommend seeing any provider other than NP Vanessa. This practice does not offer appointments, so I would advise just calling the front desk staff who are exceedingly helpful and lovely, and ask how to avoid coming in on a day where the NP Vanessa is working. I would suggest you seek care from anyone else at this establishment, if you hope to engage with a medical provider that is willing, attentive, thoughtful, and caring. If you aren't familiar, a dexa scan tells you your weight, body composition including visceral organ fat, bone density, and lean body mass. It is the most accurate way to measure progress if you are trying to increase lean muscle or bone density. I go to the Irvine mobile spot and they have been on time for one and running 10 minutes behind on my second. They communicated the time they were running behind. You get your results within a few minutes of completion. I highly recommend it.

However, when the MRI technician came to take me into the room and set up the machine, she seemed very careless and not very attentive. She briefly asked what kind of music I wanted, then closed the door and left. I asked how long the procedure would take, and I was told fifteen minutes. Once it started, the noise from the machine was extremely loud and suddenly caused me to develop a headache. I simply endured it for the full fifteen minutes. When it was finished and another staff member came in to open the machine and help me out, I mentioned what happened. He told me that next time I should ask for earplugs. I responded that I hope there won't be a next time soon, as this is not something I experience regularly. In my opinion, patients should be reminded in advance that the noise can be very loud and that ear protection is available. This discomfort could easily be prevented. I feel the staff need to be a bit more attentive and considerate, rather than just treating it as a routine task and moving on. Patients deserve more care and awareness.

I also had a CAT scan and a personal were far more accommodating. I've had many many MRIs, and this is by far the worst experience I've had.

I was able to use foam earplugs, and then Moses gave me headphones and an eye mask. He asked what kind of music I wanted and I said "something happy" and his selection for me was perfect. He constantly spoke to me through the headphones, letting me know what to expect, and how many more minutes, and checking on me. I arrived at around 7:10am and was out the door by 7:50am. I've been to this location multiple times, and the experience is hit or miss…read more This week's visit was the miss. I had a breast MRI scheduled (my second this year). Four minutes after the office closed the night before my appointment, I received two texts and two emails stating that my MRI would not be done unless I provided prior records and scans. Since the office was closed, I couldn't call. Responding to the messages went nowhere. The next morning, they did perform the MRI. The person who placed the IV was excellent, and the tech was kind. No issues during the scan itself. The problem came the next day, when I received a call saying the radiologist would not release my results until I provided records they claimed they did not have--specifically my January mammogram. This was explained as "new protocol." For context: all of my imaging has been done through Wave Imaging. They already had the records. Fortunately, the imaging center that performed my mammogram had previously worked with Wave and knew exactly who to call. Once they intervened, my results were released within an hour. This situation caused completely unnecessary stress and delay, all due to poor communication and internal confusion. Sending urgent messages after hours, proceeding with the MRI anyway, then withholding results the next day makes no sense from a patient perspective. If you come here, confirm well in advance that they have everything they need, and don't assume silence means you're in the clear. Apparently, it doesn't.
