If you don't mind waiting 2-3 plus weeks for MRI or x-ray results, then it's not a horrible place, but not the besy either. Also, don't try to call for records or the front desk. They don't answer their phones nor return messages. MRI machines at most locations are old and not for the claustrophobic. Older tech doesn't give as high quality images unless you to go all the way to Hemet for a decent machine is ridiculous. Employees seem to always be turning over, always new faces. Beverly Radiology began texting me to pay my radiology bill in Full soon after my appointment in February. My mammogram has always been 100% covered. I called Beverly Rad- the biller had none of my insurance info that was presented at the time of the appt. She also was not familiar with my very commonly used/recognized insurance company. After 20 min on phone w her and multiple interruptions, including her taking other phone calls and placing me on hold multiple times, I needed to submit my insurance information again . I had 2 MRI's done at WAVE in HB on 3/4. By the following Monday, the results had not been posted on their portal. I made 3 separate phone calls on Monday asking where they were. All 3 times I was promised that I would receive them within an hour. NEVER HAPPENED. Called again Tuesday am, was told I was lied to on Monday and a bunch of other excuses, including the doctor had access to them. If the doctor has access, why wouldn't I? I PAID for them. They utilize call centers with people that don't know what they are doing. It seems that they let this happen until it gets handled by someone with a little bit of competence. We got a call the day of saying that the appointment type was wrong and that the technician there didn't do ultrasound for pregnancies over 13 weeks. When my doctor requests an MRI they start texting me multiple times a day, then I call, wait on hold to talk to someone in the Phillipines. After 20 minutes of giving them my name, birth date, insurance info etc, then they tell me insurance has not approve the MRI and I must pay cash, thousands of dollars, so I say I will wait for approval, then the text messages just keep coming, no way to know if insurance approved it. Two years ago I had an MRI, they double billed no matter how many letters I wrote then they sent me to collection, after 450 days I finally filed a criminal complaint and they stopped the fraudulent billing, the worst. read more

The people at the mammogram & x-ray place were great however, both use an out of state CALL CENTER! Last month I had called to book an appointment for a Friday, took the day off and the time to call, upload all necessary documents. On a THURSDAY, "Rosa," called at 4:45 PM (PST) to cancel the appointment, before I could even ask why she hung up! Absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE! To be clear, the last person who scheduled my appointment was in GEORGIA, she even commented how people speak ill of this location. Guess nobody communicates because, she must have NOT been aware the x-ray upstairs closes at 4pm! Do BETTER RADNET, people lives are literally in your hands. So I have tried four times now to get an MRI that my doctor ordered. The first time I scheduled an appointment I was supposed to get the wide MRI. When I got to the center, they had put me in the wrong machine. It was the training machine which was so small that I couldn't get my head in when they put the mask over my head. I paid the fee already, so they told me that it would go toward when I actually got the MRI. Then the next time I was able to schedule an MRI I scheduled it closer to my home and was on my way there when I got a call that the machine was down. Okay I can understand that. I scheduled another MRI for the same facility on a different day. The same thing happened. The machine was down again. I called and tried to get another MRI scheduled. The first person that I spoke to was extremely rude. She told me a lie. I was trying to get the MRI scheduled for Huntington Beach but was having a really tough time so I asked to schedule the MRI in Riverside. She said that they do not have a radnet facility in Riverside, but I was on the website and could see the redneck facility on the website. I told her two times that I know that there is a radnet facility in Riverside. She then said that she didn't have access to scheduling at that facility and that I would have to call back and talk to someone else. Every time I tried to speak she acted like I was cutting her off. I was not. I hung up and called again and talked to a different agent who set up an MRI and said that the MRI would be in riverside. Very cool, right? Not. I did not realize that she had scheduled it in Huntington Beach until I was on my way there today and double checked my appointment. Thanks be to God that I did because it was scheduled in Huntington beach. Wrong facility. I called them to reschedule the appointment, and lo and behold I got the first rude agent that I had originally spoken to on the phone. I knew it was her from her voice. I had to be very clear with her that I wanted to reschedule the appointment after 4:00 and that I could not make it before that because I'm a teacher. Every time I went to ask a question or clarify something she acted completely put off and she accused me of cutting her off. She did not vary from her script and had no compassion for someone who is trying to schedule and MRI of her brain. She finally did schedule me for an MRI next week. A+++ When I called for my appointments, Armando was super informative and made it very clear how to prepare for this exam and exactly what I should expect. After my Hip replacement, my doctor ordered a CT scan. I then called to make an appointment. I confirmed the appointment twice. Once on my phone and again in response to their email. I was walking out the door when they called me and told me the Tech said that they do not do this kind of CT Scan and to go back to my doctor. This is so unprofessional since they waited for 20 minutes before the appointment to let me know!!!!! Before I could even call my doctor I received another call telling me that the only place to get the test done was in Rancho Cucamonga or another place near L. A. Since I am in a lot of pain, and I really need the CT done, so my doctor would know how to proceed, I said I would go to Rancho Cucamonga, which is an hour and 20 minutes without heavy traffic. My husband and I were almost to their facility when I get a call and they tell me that the TECH just looked at the order and that it cannot be preformed at that facility or anywhere within Radnet. We traveled an hour and 20 minutes to then find out NOT TO COME!!!!!! This is SOOOOO UNACCEPTABLE! They have a monopoly and can get away with it!! They have done this to me two other times and never have to courtesy to call in advance! I have gone to their facility only to find out there was no appointment scheduled even though I spoke and confirmed the appointment! Does anyone know where I can go to report these people? If I could give this negative or zero stars I would, this is the worst company I've ever dealt with avoid if possible!! First off they give you wrong information over the phone. My mother had to get an X-Ray at the Redlands location and when we get there the don't do X-Rays anymore. Then we get paper work for other places that take walk in only to be turned away because they were no longer taking walk-ins. They are open until 4pm and it was 10:30am. We went to the Corona another office with paper given to us by the Riverside office and the paper work was wrong, that Corona office only takes appointments. Everytime I call to make an appointment I get sent to different locations and every time I get to the location I was sent they send me to a different location because the service I was scheduled for isn't offered there. Today I drove over an hour for an ultrasound just to get to the location and have my appointment canceled because they don't offer the type of ultrasound I needed. Their scheduling team needs to learn more about what the locations offer and when the specialists are in. Had a scheduled appointment for 10 am.... and I made it because I needed to see patients at my own office. At 10:45 am I was still not back for my x-ray. At 10:58 I was called back. But...the worst thing about this facility is that the waiting room chairs are so absolutely dirty it is unreal. This facility needs to take pride in patient service care. These chairs are dirty, the fabric is worn off and the arms are chipped and not clean at all. In spite of the fact that I couldn't get a breast ultrasound/mammography appointment in Anaheim where I live, I love going to the Orange location. The techs were nice and they know their jobs very well. The gatekeepers were okay-ish but I came prepared. The Orange location does it all if you have a Radiology appointment(s). Wish they offer Saturdays as well, even if it's half a day because it's difficult to ask for time off from work from ignorant bosses. Also, this location is clean and contemporary, which I love. I have been coming to this location since mid-April and each time I come I swear the customer service lacks and front desk receptionists (mainly Paulina A. in the CT/MRI area) are so unhelpful. When it tells you to pick a location, it doesn't tell you some locations accept different insurance than other. Making appointments on their web site is next to impossible. I am a healthcare provider for two decades, so I know how the system works. Don't be fooled by Radnet's flashy website and marketing a claim of 4.8/5 stars - some of their locations are like 4.6 to 4.8 on Google, WHERE ANYONE CAN WRITE A FAKE OR EVEN PAID REVIEW, and their Santa Ana and Laguna Hills locations are still less than 2 stars! The only other place I found reviews for Radnet or Wave Imaging in Orange County was here on Yelp, and that was 2 stars. Both companies are owned by MemorialCare, and if you see any physician associated with Memorial, they will self-refer to their facilities on the EMR printout with your radiology order, with no mention that other facilities are available where you can go and your co-pay will be lower. I wonder if Memorial will make Yelp "not recommend" this review, to protect their reputation...I guess we will see if Yelp is truly objective. My poor rating is not because of the service from the techs or radiologists; as licensed providers they have a standard to uphold or there will be consequences, so they do fine. It's because of the fact that YOU CAN'T SPEAK TO A HUMAN BEING ON THE PHONE at any of their facilities to ask any questions like 1) are you sure the CT with contrast is oral not IV, and it's barium not iodine, which the patient has a history of anaphylaxis to? Or 2) can he come in more than an hour before the procedure, because it is recommended to start drinking the contrast 4 hours beforehand to ensure it reaches the colon in time for the scan? Because if it doesn't the diagnosis is in question and the procedure must be repeated due to "poor image quality." But I guess two procedures pay more than one, so what's their motivation to get it right the first time? And when you get to the facility, it's standing room only (Santa Ana location) and they are running behind on appointments. There is obvious understaffing, and the receptionists know very little about imaging. With even simple questions they have to ask the techs, who are already overwhelmed. Memorial will claim that it is difficult to staff after Covid, but if they PAID A DECENT WAGE they would have no shortage of qualified applicants, so that's a cop-out. They could also offer better training, or hire healthcare providers, not business majors, to manage their facilities (on-site, not in some office elsewhere). If they fixed their staffing and training issues, all these problems would evaporate; but again, what's their motivation? Patients must speak up to their insurance providers to hold the facilities accountable for understaffing and prevent self-referral. read more

I was referred to a wave imaging center for a MRI through this company and I would not recommend it if you like your credit.  I received the first bill but did not pay it when it said I  needed to download an app to pay.  I planned to mail a check but misplaced the statement.  I don't deal with a lot of paper bills.  I dont remember seeing the second statement.  I was out of town when the 3rd and FINAL statement was mailed around thanksgiving.  I did not open it until my account was already in collections.   Terrible customer service.  Don't even bother calling unless you want to call 10 times to speak with a manager who will say that they are powerless to do anything.    I was automatically referred to them and would use literally anyone else.  I have 2 herniated disks and will be getting imaging for the rest of my life and I will definitely not use them again. read more

The front desk nice the technician very nice, the one star here is for the company overall. This outfit has become too big and unable to operate efficiently when it comes to their corporate office returning phone calls regarding an issue I had with which radiologist I chose. They assured me when making the appointment that a certain radiologist I requested who is in my preferred PPO list for insurance purposes, was still there. At least this is what I was told over and over while making the appointment. Turns out this person retired and only found that out after the appointment was over with. When I tried to reach out to their corporate office after several try's to inquire about this, they transferred me all around and then I was disconnected. I then called their corporate office and was promised a call back which I haven't received. They contact you 4 or 5 times when confirming the appointment but dont return phone calls after the appointment is made for any questions you may have. By the sound of their recording and menu options they have a prompt specifically for attorneys with questions. This leads me to believe they cater to those so called ambulance chasers for lawsuits that their clients are sent here to get imaging done. If you have decent insurance or paying yourself for this service "GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR IT" because there are many other reputable places that anyone could go to. Update, I did receive a call back from a very nice Manager who runs the Office I went to and is reason why I upgraded review to two stars. I went to Radnet Santa Ana for ultrasounds (3) the ultrasounds were completed on the same day, at the same time by the same ultrasound technician. When I made the appointment the representative requested my insurance information to determine my co-pay ($93.75). The representative advised me of the cost and let me know that they would "run" my insurance on the date of service and confirm the co-pay amount. When I checked in the front desk person ran my insurance and I paid my co-pay "in full." 27 days later I received a bill with an additional amount owing ($52.45). I called my insurance company and they advised me that the remaining balance was the total after processing the claim. My insurance carrier then let me know that she noticed another amount which Radnet submitted and my responsibility was going to be $257.84. The charges per my insurance carrier was for X-rays. I let the insurance know that I did not have any X-rays completed. My insurance carrier advised me to call Radnet. When I spoke to Radnet regarding the charges, the billing person said that they will be sending me an updated bill with charges of $257.84 for 2 of the 3 ultrasounds. I asked the representative two questions; 1- Why would the co-pay when I arrive and they ran my insurance NOT include the 3 scheduled services? 2 - Why would Radnet bill and send only 1 of my 3 services instead of billing all at once? The representative was not very helpful, she just placed blame on the insurance and let me know to EXPECT another bill by November 27th. I completely feel that this is a case of bait and switch. Finally, while looking closer at my EOB I noticed there are 2 different providers for the services, which I believe are the names of radiologists, but why would they have two different radiologist read similar abdominal ultrasounds? very poor communication and scheduling and they are so busy things going on you get lost in the shuffle there is so much need for MRIs but I wish the doctor at cedars choc and surgeons would not recommend these guys I could not perform my 3 mri's due to my claustrophobia on a Monday at 6pm so I had to order medication and come back Wednesday I have surgery on Friday so the soonest they could rescheduled me a was 830 on Wednesday but they didn't tell me 830 Pm so I showed up at 745 am to tell me it's at 830 pm but the messages and appointment never specify am or pm so I was there at 745 am but They did nothing to squeeze me in and there are a couple problems though I took my meds already they are only good for a certain time and it's difficult getting meds for that my surgeon won't prescribe it and I need to get a ride from 30 miles away they are very busy which means less detail to patient care they could not help me and told me to come back they should differentiate am pm I've never had a Dr appointment at 830 at night read more
