I have come here a few times and every time they have the same cordial service . The quality of care for their patience's is outstanding . I'm a bit claustrophobic and they make my MRI time super comfortable . They really make you feel good and not scared . I recommend this place

Advantage MRI: I'll be like all the rest and post my flower too, really nice touch!!! Honestly made my day.

No complaints at all, really. Very organized and friendly office. The girl at the front desk was really pleasant and thorough. She made me feel right at home and took the time to get both of my doctor's information so that they were able to both get the results. No confusion, no attitude, just helpful and personable. I appreciate that in medical staff! I do need to say that the woman putting me IN the machine and running my test was not very friendly or warm. But she was adequate and explained things to me so I knew what was going on and what was going to be happening. I had 2 lengthy MRIs, so I was there over 2.5 hours. Once my tests were over, a male angel named Robbie/Roby (however he spells it) helped me out of the machine with a huge smile and a wonderful attitude!! If he were the technician throughout my whole visit, I would have not one thing negative to say about this place at all!! On the way out of my testing, I was given my CD with the test and also confirmation that the results will be at both of my doctor's offices with in 24-48 hours. Plus the real wonderful gesture is the rose given to patients. MRIs are not a fun thing but my experience at Advantage MRI was seamless and flawless, I would 100% have complete faith in them should I need to have any further testing done now or in the future. Thank you!!!

Was referred here by my attorney. Needed MRI for my back from a car accident. Office is clean, front desk young lady was cheerful and it was 6:45am. The changing room had gowns for all sizes folded neatly. The room also locks with a key. You can take your test knowing your items are safe locked in the room. My technician was very professional and nice. I believe his name was Rob. He offered me ear plugs or headphones before I entered the machine. I chose earphones and he asked what I liked to listen to. Very sweet. :) Everything was modern, sanitized and in order. He helped me off the table when the procedure was done. I'm posting this review because at the end of my visit before I left I was given a single rose as a thank you for coming in. It brightened my day because I was miserable from the test, and also felt drained after being in the confined space of the MRI machine for so long. The rose took my mind off all that and it made me feel so much better. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. I took my rose into my office and put it on my desk and all day coworkers asked about it.

We have amazing insurance and typically pay a zero copay for all in-network visits aside from ER visits. After she was charged I called our insurance and found out that urgent cares can bill under different codes some of which make them fall under the ER visit category. My issue wasn't the fact they bill in that way it was that she wasn't told until after she had been seen and we didn't have the option to seek other care that would be covered for her non emergency issue. The doctor himself called me to discuss the issue and apologized for how it was handled. He adjusted the charge and refunded my daughter the copay. We did not ask for a refund or expect one because we weren't disputing his services. He was very kind, authentic and did not dismiss my concerns. I truly appreciate and am impressed with how he handled the situation. It is clear he cares more about his patients and practice then he does profit and truly strives to do the right thing. The only reason behind them doing so was to offer me the experience and service that I deserved. I went in today for my rescan & was greeted by the owner herself. What a wonderful person she is by the way! It looked like she had hired a few more people, which is great because this will minimize interruptions for the working tech. I was quickly taken back to the room and the scan began. Both the ultrasound technician and the owner were working together to get the best picture possible (again, I have an anterior placenta, so understandably it's difficult) they managed to get some really good pictures! The owner was very patient & she was genuinely interested in catching the baby's features in every picture she could capture. She always asked if I was ok or felt uncomfortable, It was a great experience from beginning to end. It was a pleasure coming back & the owner was thankful that we did and that we gave her the opportunity to regain our business. The fact that she went out of her way to make sure I had a perfect experience really shows how much she values her customers and her business. I respect and appreciate that. Thank you for the great pictures ladies :)

When I did arrive, 20 minutes earlier than my appointment, as they suggested, and many doctor offices suggest that so there is time to fill out the paperwork, I was almost immediately seen once I completed everything. Also, my CT scan only took a few minutes after that. I'm giving it 1 less star because the front desk lady who took my information seemed a bit disorganized and confused. Nothing horrible, but she seemed like she wasn't very organized. Also, this place really caters to Asians since it seemed like almost all of their staff was of Asian descent. What's going on in that office that they misplace paperwork and can't even tell you ahead of time that they best thing to do would be to get the x-rays done FIRST?!‍

The front desk, although not overly personable, are friendly and efficient. We each checked in with ease on both of our visits. The lobby has a few chairs, however there is room for more and I suggest they add some additional chairs as during both visits patients were standing for part of their wait. Bathroom is clean, office is tidy. Wait times for each appointment were not bad at all. Scheduling our appointments was also within a reasonable time. Parking is marked on the street for Shin patients at no cost, which is nice because this area is really tough to find easy parking and what is easy to find will cost you. Only one of our visits were we able to take advantage of the reserved spots, but very nice that they have them available. Now to the MRI. My husband is very claustrophobic and told them both on the appointment setting and in the office prior to the MRI. We both felt that the techs could have been a bit more sensitive to that. He felt like he was barely on the table when they shoved him into the machine without saying a word or warning. He was not mentally prepared for this. My husband is definitely no wuss, trust me, he's a rugged man's man through and through, but his claustrophobia is straight up real. His 45 minute MRI was cut short to 10 minutes because the anxiety got too high for him. The anxiety is not the technicians' fault, but maybe had they been a bit more sensitive to his phobia and gently eased him in, it may not have been so bad. He did return a week later with some comforting valium and the awareness that he would be flung down the chamber like a dude at a water park. He successfully made it through that second test. Now he's prepared. During my MRI, I did notice that they get you done in a hurry. It did not bother me one bit as I have no claustrophobia at all. Paying attention to the swiftness of the loading into the machine, my husband was right, they get you in fast. My headphones weren't even on my ears yet and away I went into the canal. But, again, for me it was fine, just noticing it since my husband was so sensitive to it. All-in-all, Shin was a great place to have our MRIs done, the ease of appointment setting, the wait time, the efficiency, the parking. Great job with all of this!! Our only suggestion is that when you have someone with true claustrophobia, a little extra care, compassion, and preparedness would be nice. Great job Shin! Would have no problem returning... and honestly neither would my husband, he'll just need the valium and the self-given pep talk first.

Unfortunately, what they lack ends up a longer list. The first MA was unable to get a vial of blood and said someone else would try on my other arm with a straight needed (vs butterfly). She left me without even putting a bandaid on the arm she poked and I had to struggle to put the bandaid on one handed while still maintaining pressure on it. Next MA comes and draws blood and when she's done she yelps I don't have a cotton ball (to put on the vein she just drew out of) and my blood is just pooling while she puts a bandaid on. Luckily I'm well versed enough to know I needed to put pressure on my bandaid. The NP who saw me was new to (per the MA) she really didn't put my mind at ease. Her expertise and knowledge seemed lacking based on the answers to my questions. First thing she asked me was, why are you here and not the ER? I told her my PCP sent me here because she didn't feel it necessitated a ER visit. She wanted me to be evaluated by YOU to assess and in your medical opinion, do I need to be seen further or what course of action next? She swabbed me for flu and covid and I verbally questioned her because I had isolated severe GI symptoms. She said sometimes those present wither GI only. Does it? I don't know, I'm not an MD but I'm also someone who works in healthcare and it didn't feel like the proper procedure. When I asked if she would be ordering any stool samples, I heard through my closed door "do we do that?". Ok, she's new, I'll give her that...but she comes back in and says "if you'd like to have the order for stool testing I'm happy to give that to you." Am I the md or am I the patient? I came here for your professional medical opinion! Do I?! So after I kindly communicated that I am looking to her for her opinion as the expert whether or not my symptoms necessitate an order, she still doesn't quite give me a direct answer! I haven't been to that many urgent cares, but I've come to see a trend that many of the urgent cares that are owned by a company with multiple locations don't have MD's on staff physically there. That said, I've also noticed the trend that many provide sub-par care.
