I recently got into an accident and was recommended this place to get an MRI done. When I walked into the building I warmly greeted by the receptionist Kim. She checked me in with ease and I waited in the waiting room. I helped myself to some coffee and waited patiently for my MRI. I have never gotten an MRI done before so I was very anxious and expressed my feelings to the technician. I was glad that the technician Robert was very attentive to my needs and talked me through the whole process. I was helped off the machine and was glad that everything went smoothly. Pros: Easy to make an appointment, affordable ($350), free parking, and I was in and out in under an hour for my knee MRI. Cons: The MRI image quality was low resolution. I took my MRI CD to the Chief of Sports Surgery at UCLA Health, and he was appalled by the quality of the imaging. This facility uses a 0.3T MRI which is not good for joint injury assessment, and I wish this was disclosed when I called the office. My doctor wasn't able to make an assessment because the images weren't clear enough. Next time, I'll be going to UCLA Health (uses 3T MRI meant for joint imaging) like I have in the past. Update: The MRI results I got from this facility showed that I had an ACL tear, not sure how that assessment was made with the low-resolution, but the new higher resolution MRI showed that I have no tear. read more

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this facility. First, their Google and Yelp listings state they are open, but they are actually closed for remodeling for at least a month. My biggest issue was the lack of communication from the receptionist, Kim. It is very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. When I finally got through, I was told I needed a referral. I went through the effort of obtaining one from my doctor and called back (which took 4+ attempts for someone to pick up) to book and only then did Kim inform me that the business is closed for remodeling. It is unprofessional to string a patient along, requiring referrals and multiple calls, only to reveal at the very end that you aren't even open. Please update your hours online so you don't waste other people's time. I told Kim she would have saved me 10+ phone calls, getting a referral, etc. had she said when I called the first time that she's closed and she just said Okay. read more

Not a good experience. Nice building. Good free parking. No masking even though they have signs to mask everyhwere. I was masked but no one offered to mask for my safety as I am tired of asking especially when it comes to medical "professionals" Was super hot in side. Was asked if a male student could watch the exam umm no thanks. I know everyone must learn but really not appropriate when someone is trying to figure out if they have cancer or not. Didn't find out a radiologist wasn't on duty until after the exam so I had to wait over the weekend for results which is fine but the should have said that up front. Results were not good and vague. Kicked off a week long spiral of "omg I have cancer" got into an established all inclusive high risk breast center for full evaluation and a recheck. I was there for 6 hours. Had a full breast exam + full ultrasound + mammogram. All results negative and the doctors and staff were shocked at the previous false results. Not only were the previous false results read wrong they were completely inaccurate and read incorrectly and uneducated. idk wtf is going on at this place but save yourself and skip this torture. The quack doc needs to go back to school. read more

I went here for an open MRI since the standard one scared me too much. The machine/experience is just as anxiety filled but it does help that the machine in 'open' so you can look to the sides and feel less claustrophobic. The X-ray techs were incredibly nice (I actually hugged my guy after, with his permission, since he was so patient with me). The facility, itself, where the MRI machine is is clean/well kept. The rest of the facility is kind of run down and dirty...I hate to comment on that considering how overworked medical staff has been the last two years. However, I felt more at ease and weighed the pros/cons with the open MRI so it was a trade off. MRI results came in and were sent to my doctor within ~48hrs. read more

Five stars for fast and reliable MRIs with a very friendly And easy-going staff!!!! the MRI machines at his office are very up-to-date and state of the art. If you have any anxiety or claustrophobia about the process, The team definitely will ease you in into it and you'll be on your way in no time. I was in a real pinch, suffering from a lot of pain and doctors scheduled me for an MRI and the Soonest my doctors recommendations could get me an MRI was weeks out, so I just decided to find someplace on my own and these guys got me an appointment the following week. I will be going to them for all my MRIs in the future. Also, Mariah who is on his staff and who specifically helped me out was a delight to schedule with. In terms of Covid these guys are extremely safe, following the protocols, masked up, and they definitely clean their machines in between patients. They're waiting room is also socially distanced and smells rather nice. Not sure what it is but it's very soothing. 10/10 definitely go here read more

I recently had a head injury that required follow up MRI scans rather urgently. Melissa was great on the phone and got me in that same day- such a relief! And as a cash patient the prices here meant I could get my MRI scans at a far more affordable price than anywhere else I tried. I heard about open mri versus the traditional tunnel mri machines which are super claustrophobic and I was excited to have a better experience. Alexis guided me through the whole Process and was incredibly kind and gave me heads up for how long each section would take so I could prepare myself. She was incredibly helpful to keep me calm and aware. The machine is way less loud than what I have experienced in the past and open mri makes a huge difference. I drove almost an hour to this location and I am glad I did! read more

Great overall experience. First time having an MRI and first and foremost the patient service and care is excellent at this location. Melissa was very friendly and organized at the front desk. Alexis was professional, and thorough in explaining the imaging protocol and making it easier to lay still and calm throughout the needed time periods. Additionally, this location is easy to get to; just off the freeway exit, the waiting area is clean, bright and comfortable and the wait time was short and I was in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. I drove from 45 minutes away to use this location and it was worth it. I highly recommend this location and staff especially if it is your first experience having an MRI. read more

I loved how easy it is to get an appointment here! They even do same-day appointments if you need a scan right away. You can easily request an appointment on their website or call them if you have any questions with your upcoming appointment. Their prices are more affordable than most places and certainly less than at major hospitals. The quality is the same though and I like how it's a one-stop shop for all your imaging needs! (MRI's, X-Rays, Ultrasounds, etc.) What's cool about this place is that they also offer legal advice. If you are involved with a personal injury case, they do have on-hand lawyers to help you. The images will obviously help you in your case but it will also be helpful to speak with a lawyer. One thing to note - the technicians there can't discuss your results, only your doctor can. My highest recommendations go out to SoCal Imaging & Open MRI! Be sure to check them out. read more

Really clean office and friendly staff. I got in and was in the imaging room within 5 minutes. I chose the open MRI because it is quieter than the closed machines and while it was still loud, with the foam earplugs it was totally manageable. This place is 10/10 the best place to get an mri done! the staff is super nice and patient. they are understanding and respectful. this was the best way to get an mri because the og tube style sucks and is so uncomfortable. socal imaging has open mri machines that are relatively quiet and almost non existent when they provide the foam earphones. if i ever need an mri i would definitely make the drive over to get it done here than anywhere else. watch out for the parking lot though, i saw someone hit another car on the way out so park far from others! read more

HIGHLY recommended if you're in need of an MRI. Due to a slightly torn meniscus, I needed some images of my knee, and the staff here was so helpful and nice. I set up the appointment with ease, and was in the very same week. I am very claustrophobic, and the staff made sure I was very comfortable before starting, so if you're anything like me, I would seriously come to this place!! Before starting, they took their time explaining the process in its entirety to me, as to ease my stress, which I greatly appreciated. And the whole process was done within an hour.
