Right before Life changed, I had been looking for a new salon. And since the re-openings, I have become rather picky. I put some research into my decision and ended up at Beverly Nail Salon last Friday. My appt was promptly met with directing me to the the wall of colors. I picked an OPI for my toes and I wanted a matching shellac for my fingers. My pedi was first, and although she rubbed over a big bruise abt 3 times (even after I winced), overall the pedi was nice. I love that the chair massage options include height (I'm 5'10")...the massage was everything I wanted (other than wine, but these times are different). My manicurist's mask didn't cover his nose, which I didn't love. But they do have plexiglass dividers, and I was the only client in the general vicinity. The shellac they brought for my nails matched the toes EXACTLY (I've had folks try to be "close"...nah, not cool). He took the time to fix where I bumped my nail going into the light, too. I liked the way my mani turned out. Anyway, I enjoyed my experience. I felt the price ($65) was perfect for my service. I also love that I wasn't pressured for an eyebrow wax or anything else I didn't request. Fast forward to today (4 days)... the shellac on the three middle fingers on my right hand cracked and started to come off! I noticed after work, and called. They told me to come in, "now" was fine, and in less than 20 min after walking in, I was walking out with an all-nail touch up, no charge. Looks like I've found my new salon. read more

Beverly is our favorite nail salon for a few reasons. First, the owner is almost always there greeting guests and making sure everyone is happy. If there is anything you need, just let him know and he will make it happen! Second, the staff is very friendly and professional. We have had the pleasure of seeing almost everyone on staff who does pedicures, and there is nobody we would not want to see again. The tech who most often does nails while you're getting a pedicure is very sweet too. She did my eyebrows as well and they never looked better. Third, the hostess/receptionist/most helpful person in the place is fantastic! She is friendly, thoughtful, and remembers who you are and what you like. She gives accurate wait times and will not sit you down in a chair to soak your feet for 30 minutes before your service. I'm sure we've all experienced that before, and it's very frustrating, but not here! Lastly, their products and services are awesome and relaxing. So...after leaving a poor review after several bad experiences, they contacted me to give them another try. They had been excellent on many occasions, so why not? The service with Dao was very good. I needed a pedi before NYE. Nice massage. Toes & feet look great. My regular girl no longer works there, so I'm kinda sad about that. Overall, this place provides good service. It's clean, the pedi chair massage works well. I would recommend it. They usually have frozen margaritas or daiquiris, but they weren't frozen yet when I visited. The Red wine was good. This used to be my regular salon even though it wasn't close to home for me. I will still come here if I'm in the area. read more

I used to love going there and they were always packed, but ever since it changed owners the quality of the techs have gone done and both times I've been there it has been pretty mellow (even for COVID times). The greeter (owner I think) is really nice, but the quality and techniques I've experienced are just so so. Annie used to do my nails and she was awesome but her and her brother Joe moved to a stain Hutto (little too far for me). I went there for a pedicure two weeks ago and I already have nail chips, which normally my pedis grow out but where they were them remains awesome, but that's not been my experience here. I also got my nails done yesterday with Katie and her technique was not what I've experienced from really good technicians. She was pretty slow too. She also made my nail beds look super big. I'll be surprised if they stay on two weeks. I usually go 4 weeks without any lift. I decided to give them a try with their new ownership and people because my normal guy has had some family issues and hasn't been back to work yet. If I could I would give 0 stars. I came down from Dallas to Austin for new year Eve. I needed my nails done and this was right by my hotel so I went here. I wish I would've was the reviews first, I wanted a nexgen nail set. I went in and was immediately greeted and told to sit in a sit and someone was going to do my nails. I waited 20 mins for someone to do my nails, not an issue cause it was NYE. The nail tech started taking off my old set, and I never get a tip I always use my real nails. The nail tech asked me where to cut I told her and she cut them way shorter than I asked. I mentioned it to her and she said she could put a tip on it for length but it is extra. I asked why would I have to pay extra for her messing up the length on MY REAL NAILS. She said it was my fault, I told her wear to cut and if I don't like, I can pay extra for tip. I told her nevermind. I paid $45 for this crappy nail set on NYE and I am so PISSED! I wanted to complain but they have a big sign posted on the window at the check out area stating "no refunds once the nails are on and completed. Can only fix within a week of the time you get your nails done" Worst set I've ever had. I should've just got my nails done at home, in Dallas. read more

I give this place two stars because the first time I went it was great we were seated quickly with no appointment and the pedicures we got we very great, but.... This last time we came definitely blew it for me. I called ahead about an hour to make an appointment for four people. The lady who answered the phone said no problem they had room for us. When I showed up all the pedicure chairs were full. I chatted with the front desk people for a while, and was told to find a color. I took my time picking a color since I noticed all the chairs were still full with little signs of a turn over in the future. There is no where to sit and wait which is poor design and planning. You just had to stand around and linger but no matter where you stood you were in someones way. After about 30 minutes after our appointment we were seated, It took a while for all the pedicurist to get to the four of us. We selected the same heavenly pedicure treatment, but the menus weren't all the same because my menu had a tropical option and all the others didn't and the technicians didn't know there was tropical or not. There was a cluster of confusion on that one. My pedicure was great until I got cut on twice, then I was highly over it. It was a very painful cut on the side of your toe nail, and it left a sting for at least 3 days. Then I was cut past the cuticle on another foot. Not very happy about this situation.The toe nails were cut crooked and then now the paint job looks all messed up. One of my toenails was messed up when they put my shoes on but they didn't seem to care to fix it. I was rushed to get my manicure and was cut countless amount of times that it would bleed for hours! I got dipped nails and some of them are rough on the edges and I was rushed on them because I didn't get my cuticles taken care of and there is still spots of my last traditional nail polish underneath the dipped nails. One of my nails has a spot or bubble in it. It was just a rushed botched job. The amount of times I got cut is almost unbelievable. The employees are nice but they just aren't trained very well. I just hope I don't get an infection from this situation. I won't be returning here nor will I be recommending anyone to come here for the sake of your hands and feet as well as time. read more

( it's typically an extended foot rub) hahaha. It was the service from the man who did my acrylics I did not appreciate. He was very pushy and pully with my hands and arms. The women who did my toes did not push and pull my legs so why did he have to? I definitely don't think it was necessary for him to be so rough. I also asked for him to make my acrylic nails as short as possible so it felt as natural as possible for me. And when I told him they were still too long for my liking, he MOCKED me! "too long, too long"... my mother in law assured me he was just "joking around" or whatever, but you could tell I was visibly annoyed and i definitely didn't appreciate it. Since I literally never ever ever get my nails done and this was literally a one time thing bc it was for my wedding, I will not be returning, regardless of if they reach out to me or not, simply bc getting my nails done is not something I ever do. I've been waiting to write my review till I got my nails fixed just to fully understand how poorly my nails were done. I'm originally from Long Beach but was visiting due to having an emergency surgery. Before my surgery date my aunt, cousin and I decided to come here to relax and get our toes and nails done as we had been dealing with a lot leading up to my surgery. Our visit here was anything but relaxing. For starters they seat you at the nail booths with the dividers still up due to covid which would be fine except they place the dividers so close to the end of the table that my head was smashed up against it/ had to turn my neck the whole 3 1/2 hours I was there to avoid smashing my face in plastic. My aunt and cousin both wanted (and asked) for full acrylic sets with gel. They were given dip without being asked if it was okay. Both of their sets broke before 24 hours of leaving the salon and need to come back for new sets. My aunt told me when she was getting her toes done she specifically asked for gel and was given regular nail polish. By the time she noticed they were using regular polish, she politely asked if it was gel and if not she had originally asked for it. The lady, I kid you not, RIPPED the toe divider from her foot and aggressive started dousing her toes in polish remover. My aunt was literally so upset but way too shy to say anything. She was pretty much in tears from frustration by the end about how poorly she was treated. I came in with a somewhat complex design that I know my nail ladies at home would have no problem doing, so I specifically asked if there was anyone in the salon that would be okay to do it. I even said if no one was comfortable I'd be happy to get something else more simple. The lady I asked said one of the other nails techs could probably do it. So I waited and showed a different nail tech my design and asked the same question. Of course they then designated my nails to the lady that just indirectly told me she wasn't comfortable doing my design. I told her again I could pick something else to which she said she liked a challenge. The reason I rated this place 2 stars instead of 1 was because my nail tech was really nice and gave it her all and was at my design for 3 1/2 to 4 hours I believe. But man it was rough. She had to redo my base coat at least 3-4 times because the light wasn't drying it properly, and a few of my nails base coats still came out rippled at the end. I had a checker design and she had to do somewhere between 5-8 layers of gel on my nails after wiping it off and restarting minimum 3 times before just piling it on. A few of my designs were cute and turned out nice the first time around but one of them was so half assed and I was so embarrassed to walk around with it. They were supposed to be drippy smiley faces but looked like a 3 year old drew Pac-Man ghosts. All of my designs were smeared due to not letting them dry properly before putting the top coat. I even came in the following day to get some of them fixed because I was just so unhappy with how some of them turned out. They wanted to charge me for a full new design for the 4 nails that were fucked. I had already paid $100 for nails I hated so I said fuck it just paint them black. I was also charged for a full set when I only got a fill and 2 nails completely fixed. Was charged an extra $40 for designs I wasn't even happy with. They closed at 7 and felt pressured to leave especially after sitting for 4 hours with my face smashed into a plastic shield. My neck was sore for a few days after my visit. When I went back home my original nail tech pointed out the powder they used was extremely cheap as it caused my nails and the acrylic to turn yellow. They also left my nails all different lengths and did try to match them up with the opposite hand. My nail tech also showed me how one of my nails was completely and utterly crooked and here I was thinking it was my finger. I really wish I had photos to show but I was just so embarrassed I avoided taking any photos at all costs. Sucks because my Aunt totally swore by this place and I don't think any of us will be returning. read more

I chose gel on my fingers and toes since I may go to the water park for my birthday next week. I was able to get my appointment switched. The salon is gorgeous and right by my work! This was the worst service at a nail salon I have ever received. - the lady had me wait 10 minutes in cool water for my pedi - while I was sitting in cool water she was sitting right in front of me on her phone on FaceTime for 5+ minutes. Idk what she was waiting for! -she never asked if I wanted anything to drink I had to ask her. And her response was, what you want. Ma'am what do you have!! -at the end she said she'll come back and apply my top coat. Where are you going finish my service! - when she finally returned she rushed me to pay. Ma'am my toes are wet, I'm going to relax here until they are dry. She then offers to take my card to swipe it! Absolutely not, where was this energy when you were servicing me. I'll pay when I'm done. You should have had that same energy to start my service rather than having me sit while you finish your phone call. She treated me and my sister like we were going to run out without paying. My sisters French tips horrible and uneven. They didn't do her acrylic right. My friend and I went here on December 31st because everywhere else was packed. Now I know why this business was empty. Starting off my friend and I both had reference photos. My friend asked for a black set with a gloss french tip and they did one thin line, so much so she just told them to gloss her whole set it looked so bad. With my set I asked for a two tone grey french tip set, the top coat she used on mine had glitter mixed in, the shape is egg looking and on a few of my tips the two coats she did do not line up. read more

Finally was seated for my pedicure and was offered something to drink and it was awful. Almost tasted like the frozen drink machine needed to be cleaned. The after taste was gross so I left the drink. Pedicure was meh. Not great and not good. Finally I went to sit under the nail light and out crawls a small roach.... That's definitely not a good sign.
