You order at the counter and then the server brings you out your food. Service was also excellent. Next time that we're in Newburgh, I would definitely stop by Cafe Little Treasure again.

They also have a few tables out front if you'd rather enjoy your coffee while taking in the charming street. But the real showstopper here is the pastry selection! With such a beautiful display of pastries, who needs extra decorations? There were so many tempting options that it was hard to choose, but I ultimately went with the Goat Cheese & Honey Danish and paired it with a medium coffee. Overall, I'm glad I added this stop to my Cold Spring adventure. I always enjoy spending time here, strolling through the town, popping into the different shops, and finding little spots like this along the way. The coffee beans are roasted in Brooklyn and are from SweetLeaf Coffee Roasters. (This is actually the best coffee I've had and I'm pretty sad it's so far from home) My friend got a curry chicken patty with coco bread and I had a bite...then got 3 patties to go and another scone. They have a lot of books to choose from that are in perfect condition and are very neatly shelved. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. They have blind date with a book, stationery, lots of plants, natural light, and free wifi. The stairs outside have a hand painted bookshelf on it. You can tell how much love went into making this place. The space is very clean and the service is excellent. If this were closer to home, I would definitely be here a few times a week.

It was a little messy so I was glad I was outside to enjoy it. It's a small space inside (perhaps 5 square table for 2 each) and it's almost kitty corner to my favorite shop, Oliver & Chatfield. Since it's a little further down on Liberty street, you'll find plenty of street parking.
