Wonderful cafe/book store run by the nicest people. My friend and I were looking for coffee and wanted to support a small business and came across this. We had trouble finding it at first because the pizza store's sign was so big, but then using Google Earth, we saw this was on the corner. There were a lot of desserts to choose from. The owners talked us through their menu. I got a birthday cake scone which had white chocolate chips inside and sprinkles. It was delicious warmed up. Their house coffee was so good. The coffee beans are roasted in Brooklyn and are from SweetLeaf Coffee Roasters. (This is actually the best coffee I've had and I'm pretty sad it's so far from home) My friend got a curry chicken patty with coco bread and I had a bite...then got 3 patties to go and another scone. They have a lot of books to choose from that are in perfect condition and are very neatly shelved. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. They have blind date with a book, stationery, lots of plants, natural light, and free wifi. The stairs outside have a hand painted bookshelf on it. You can tell how much love went into making this place. The space is very clean and the service is excellent. If this were closer to home, I would definitely be here a few times a week. read more

Came here with my daughter finally! We've always wanted to come by. I had a chicken patty and my daughter had the avocado pita. The chicken patty had a little kick to it but it came with a sauce that evened it out and tasted amazing! The avocado pita was delicious! It had spinach, assorted cherry tomatoes, paprika, and olive oil and was of course delicious. I had a cold brew to drink and my daughter had an iced chai; both tasted amazing. No complaints about service; we were greeted with smiles and patience. The ambiance is great! It was raining but inside the cafe we felt like we were somewhere else. Very inviting and chill environment. I don't think there's any place like this in Harriman or monroe. Oh and we got a lavender lemon scone to go which was so flavorful! Kulture Café in Harriman!! Extremely pleasantly surprised by this amazing cafe! We came here on a hot august day ready to try some of their goodies but didn't expect to leave with a new favorite place but we did! Amazing vegan and vegetarian options, including tapas and pastries and of course delicious and PROPERLY MADE coffee/espresso and tea drinks! The employees were very friendly, happily and helpfully answered our questions and even checked in on us to see how we liked our food and drinks :) What we got: Aly - iced mocha with almond milk 10/10 Sophia - iced coconut latte 10/10 strong flavor! We also got a hummus tapa and VEGAN chocolate chip scone to share. Both were amazing and clearly made with care! 10/10 The people running this place really know what they are doing and truly care. We have been to many cafes where some employees half ass their jobs making it an un enjoyable leaving us feel like we wasted our time and money. So refreshing to try a new place like this. Hi my name is Kelly I came into Kulture Cafe on Saturday late afternoon! It was my first time here, my best friend Meghan brought me in- she is a regular! ... The atmosphere is so cute, cozy, and clean. And the business owners are so incredibly nice. Her and her son with the curly hair helped me pick what to order and offered their recommendations of lattes and scones (the lemon poppy seed scone was a 10/10) and the dulce de leche coffee was also delicious. When I first got there the energy and vibe was great. The people were so nice and friendly, and they had so much baked goods. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich, Beef Patty with Coco Bread , and a Tamarind Curry Gyro. The food was so delicious, and the variety of drinks that they have are awesome. Besides getting my french vanilla latte, I also had gotten a tropical rhyme mango carrot drink.
