First off, we asked for coffee and water. No BS, the water had a bad aftertaste. The coffee was ok but I couldn't help but wonder what I was drinking if it was made with the same water. We ordered two breakfasts, my son had scrambled eggs with ham and toast. He didn't eat a quarter of it because he said the ham tasted funny. The potatoes were not seasoned and appear to have been deep fried. For my breakfast I had the veggie omelet with American cheese. I was served an omelet that was literally leaking water since nobody bothered to squeeze the water out of the diced vegetable. There was no cheese. I didn't want the toast or potatoes so I asked for the corn muffin. The muffin was cut in half but somehow they burned one half of tbe muffin. Let me ask again, in an area with classic diners serving amazing food and sit down restaurants where the food is legitimately great why would I ever eat here again.

In addition to the rows and rows of sweet breads, you'll find bakery items (almost all sweet) and a few little snacks and lunch items. In case there wasn't enough sugar for you ... the counter also offers several hard to find South American candies and chocolate bars. The earlier you get here, the better the selection will be. They make these fried chicken chunk skewers which are so damn good! Imagine just the chicken part of a Chic Filet sandwich ... fried crisp with a salty herbed crust.
