After waiting more than 20 minutes for my meal, I was served chicken that was visibly undercooked. I immediately asked to speak with a manager and explained that I was no longer comfortable eating meat. Instead of bringing a manager, I was incessantly pressured to accept another serving. I reluctantly agreed, only to receive another piece of chicken that was bleeding. It then took another 15 minutes before someone in junior management came to speak with us, and the only resolution offered was to remove my meal from the bill. No GM ever came by. I chose not to post immediately because I wanted to give the restaurant an opportunity to make things right. I contacted corporate and received an acknowledgment that my email had been received and would be reviewed. Since then, no one has reached out to have a conversation with me, no one has taken the time to understand the full impact of what happened, and no one has offered any opportunity to make up for what was supposed to be a special lunch with my daughter. What makes this especially disappointing is that Fogo de Chão has been one of my family's favorite places to celebrate. I've brought friends and family there for birthdays, Mother's Day, and other special occasions over the years. I was a loyal, frequent customer who enthusiastically recommended the restaurant to others. Mistakes can happen at any restaurant. What matters is how they're handled.
