A friend had told me to check the place out, and now I can't stop thinking about it: I left not only with a sandwich I genuinely enjoyed, but also the discovery of a real go-to spot for sandwiches and ice cream as well. I ordered the "Big Melo", and wow--this place does not miss. The flavors were bold, the sandwich was satisfying from the first bite to the last, and you can tell they're making it with pride. Even better? The heart of the place is right there in front of you: it's run by a young kid with his dad helping him build the business the right way. That kind of hustle and teamwork shows in the food. So here's my verdict: welcome to a rising favorite, Melos--you've got all the ingredients for momentum. Have a BLESSED ONE!

We arrived with 15-20 folks. The air conditioned indoors was a welcoming environment! What I like is that you order at the counter so that the issue of splitting checks is not there. When we ordered you saw a sign that said this isn't fast food your food is made to order to warn us don't expect your food right away. I was slightly worried because we had a second game in 2 and a half hours but I knew it would be okay. We ordered and sat inside. The staff was kind enough to let us move tables around. Then I'd say within 10 minutes our food orders started coming out. The orders then continued to come out at a very steady pace! We were shocked. Then we were shocked at how DELICIOUS the food was. One by one like a chorus of glee, each person commented on how much they enjoyed their food. The menu was so vast that no one had the same order in the adults and each person loved their food. There was only one hiccup. One of the parents order a canned drink but didn't notice that it was alcoholic. This was in no way the fault of the restaurant as it was obviously beer. The parent didn't complain he just opened it and left it. The waitress who was bussing our area asked him was something wrong if he didn't like it and the dad said, I didn't realize it was alcohol. The waitress walks over with the POS machine asked him is order number found the drink and refunded it to the dads card. She did this completely unprompted and strictly because she felt it was the right thing to do. THAT is how you provide excellent service! Thank you The Local Provisions for your gracious hospitality! We will be back!

The workers are usually really chill and get your order done pretty fast, even when it's busy. It can get a little crowded during lunch hours, but it usually moves quick so it's not a big deal. And plus with a good ambiance inside, even when it's just, it's still enjoyable. Overall it's just a really solid spot when I want something quick, filling, and actually good.

The lady who made the sandwich did a great job. She asked if I was eating it right away, which we weren't, so she suggested putting the oil and vinegar on the side so the bread didn't get soggy. Showed she cared . She suggested some sandwiches to try next time while she was bagging up my order, and the vibe I got from her interest in the customer was that she may have been an owner. When I got home and hubby and I unwrapped the sandwich, it looked perfect. She did this thing with one of the meats where it was folded and a little bit on top, just on one side which made it look nice and kept the lettuce from just falling out. We added liberal amounts of (our own) olive oil and their red wine vinegar. The sandwiches were great - packed full, fresh ingredients, made with care. We will definitely be back. She said they roast their turkey fresh which is a plus! Thank you for a great meal! And although I did take out, I had a chance to check out the restaurant - there are windows (looked nice and sparkly clean) along two walls which made the place nice and open.
