The town was packed due to a 250th birthday celebration parade. The parade blocked us from getting to the restaurant. We had to wait until it was over which was like 20 minutes. At the hostess station we were advised it would be a 45 minutes wait for a party of 5. The place was busy with customers but the employees did an excellent job in providing great service. 20 minutes later we were seated outside. There were six parties ahead of us but they didn't show when called. Guess they got tired of waiting. I ordered a full rack of the pork spare ribs with smoked beans as my one side. But when I got my food I had an extra side of smoked beans. The ribs were tender, thick and the meat came of the bone easily. It had a nice smokey taste and the smoked beans complimented the meat. I have to admit one of the best spare pork ribs I had in my life. My mom got the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and gravy. The chicken fried steak was seasoned well and very tender. My step dad ordered Large Brisket plate with coleslaw. And my brother and sister in law both got the 2 meat plate with smoked turkey and brisket with sides of macaroni and cheese and smoked beans. The beef brisket and smoke turkey was very good according to my family. For dessert I got the cinnamon roll a popular item, step dad and mom shared a slice of apple pie and my brother got the coconut cream pie. Everything was very sweet and delicious. The customer service is excellent from beginning to end. The waitresses make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. They are warm, attentive, personable, and genuinely make you feel at home. The restaurant itself has such a fresh, intimate, and welcoming atmosphere. It is also extremely clean, and every detail from the decor to the presentation of the food feels thoughtful and intentional. During my first visit, I ordered the chipotle chilaquiles, and my mom ordered the huevos rancheros. On my second visit, we ordered the birria tacos, asada tacos, and chilaquiles divorciados with both the chipotle and relleno-quiles sauces. Let me tell you, they make chilaquiles exactly how I want chilaquiles to be made...completely drowned in sauce! The chicken added to them was incredibly tender, flavorful, and not fatty at all. The cebolla and avocado details are an excellent touch. The chipotle sauce was delicious, and the relleno-quiles sauce added such a unique chile relleno-inspired flavor. If I had to nitpick one tiny detail, I personally would have loved a few more chile rajas in the relleno-quiles, but that is truly just my preference because the dish was still excellent. The asada tacos were perfection. The meat was juicy, full of flavor, and once again, not fatty. Even the tortillas added another layer of flavor. They tasted exactly like the perfect taco you imagine when you are craving one. The birria tacos were also a 10/10. The balance of cheese and tender meat was perfect, and the consomé completed the entire dish beautifully. Honestly, every plate tasted like a lot of thought and care went into it. And the presentation? Chef's kiss! Every single detail is beautiful. The food looks just as incredible as it tastes. I also tried what I believe was an horchata latte with cinnamon cold foam, and it was one of the best coffees I have had in a long time. Restaurant coffee can sometimes be bland or feel like an afterthought, but this was coffee-shop quality; rich, flavorful, and memorable. The prices are also incredibly reasonable for the quality, portions, presentation, and overall experience they provide. They could easily charge more, but instead, you receive so much value for what you pay, which I truly appreciate. There is normally a wait, so I made reservations for both visits, and everything worked out perfectly. I highly recommend making one because this restaurant is absolutely worth planning for! I live in Ontario, and Quiero Brunch is in Temecula, but if I could make the drive every week, I absolutely would. That is how amazing this place is. They have completely blown my mind and, honestly, blown the competition out of the water. Next time, I am determined to explore more of the menu because everything I have tried has been delicious and memorable. You can truly see, taste, and feel the owners' vision in everything they have created.
