We really wanted to love The Fin because the owners have such a cute shop and a really sweet, relatable story behind it. You can tell they've put a lot of heart into creating the space, and we were excited to try their matcha! Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed with the drinks. The matcha was over $8, and the Banana Pudding Matcha was mostly ice. I finished the drink in about four sips. Both matchas were also lacking in matcha flavor, and we noticed quite a few chunks of undissolved matcha sitting at the bottom of our cups. Matcha can be a little tricky to prepare because it needs to be properly whisked into 175F water to fully incorporate and become frothy without compromising the flavor. We probably won't come here for matcha again :( read more

I now have a delicious coffee and breakfast place to consistently to go to. The parking for Fin Coffee is not difficult. The store itself is nestled on the corner under an overhang! We walked inside, and saw a giant definition, written in chalk, of what their store meant. We were up at the front, and scanned the menu quickly with our eyes. I was the most captivated by their "fin pastry". They had savory or sweet types. We had chosen 3 flavors (turkey and cheese, ham-jalapeño-cheese, and a cinnamon sugar) for $15! I had also ordered a banana pudding latte and my fiancé had gotten a tiramisu latte. We waited about 10 minutes for our fin pastries. We had received them very hot and crispy! They were adorable and had a fish stamped onto them!! When we got into the car, we immediately tried to take a bite and it definitely did not disappoint. It was crispy, buttery, and flaky as a croissant should be, yet slightly sweet. The ham and cheese jalapeño flavor was wonderful! Had the right amount and was super thin. The cinnamon sugar flavor was also great! Tasted like a thin churro! Meanwhile, our coffee perfectly complimented our fin pastries. My banana pudding latte was perfectly sweet but also VERY strong in coffee. I love my Vietnamese coffee, and you can tell my drink was made from an actual Vietnamese Phin. Cozy little cafe tucked in a shopping plaza. There's quite a bit of decent seating inside and the place is really cozy. Service has always been nice and quick, and sometimes lines can be a little long. Everything is made to order, but wait times aren't that long - maybe 5-15min depending on how many people were ahead of you. The matcha and Vietnamese coffee here is 10/10. This is probably my new favorite cafe. You can tell the quality of the coffee and matcha just by the color! Sipping it just proves it! I could not have imagined that banana and coffee could go so well together! The brow sugar latte was my wife's choice and she thought it was very good. We had the cinnamon and Nutella fish shaped croissants- they are a unique and delicious treat, totally worth trying! If my review were only for the coffee and croissants I'd give it five stars. Opening Day! Love supporting local businesses and had to try this one on opening day. I brought my patience just in case there were some kinks in service but everything went smoothly! The cashier was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and was efficient in taking our order. The coffee was SOOOOO good!! I ordered the Classic Vietnamese Iced Coffee topped with Taro (Ube) Cold Foam. Totally worth the $0.75 upgrade! The hubby had the Salted Honey Latte and said it may be his new favorite in town! I saw this place featured on Go Wildomar's Instagram and immediately got excited when I saw they had a banana pudding latte. Love this place! My favorite coffee in the area, and I've tried everywhere. Only criticism is I wish they had more than just one size. The Vietnamese coffee is so good and I just want more! One of the recent times I went they used a ton of ice so I felt like I had only a couple swigs of the actual coffee. Plus, if there's cold foam, it really takes up a lot of the room. I asked for light ice the last time I went, and she said it wouldn't fill up the cup all the way. I said it was fine, but it was awkward because I'm pretty sure I saw her fill it up with a pitcher of Vietnamese coffee... So I don't understand why they couldn't just fill up the cup. With the cold foam, I only got a little over half of my cup filled with the actual coffee. (i'm not sure if it was just this employee, because I asked for light ice the other time and they filled it up all the way with no problem, and there was way less ice. I promise I'm also not just trying to get more coffee for cheaper, if they had a larger size, I would 100% purchase it! The coffee is amazing, and I know they're first starting out so I'm sure different sizing will be in the future. Food is wonderful, and the staff has always been very kind and helpful. read more

As a Vietnamese American and coffee aficionado. I can relate to the owner's personal story where I grew up with my dad making Vietnamese coffee in the mornings. So of course I had to try the Vietnamese coffee. I am a huge fan of their sweet cream corn latte because it's not too sweet (the ultimate Asian compliment). In regard to the fin's Vietnamese coffee, the chicory flavor does stand out a lot. So if you are expecting more of a strong bold coffee flavor, the chicory does over take it and it may not taste as you were expecting. I did try mines with the taro cream which I thought gave the Vietnamese coffee and chicory flavor a good balance. I also tried the marble Vietnamese coffee with sweet corn cream which the marble is just more milk so the Vietnamese coffee isn't as strong. The chicory flavor does still stand out even diluted with milk so just keep that in mind. If you are not used to or do not like the chicory flavor then I recommend ordering a latte. The sweet cream corn latte is still my personal favorite and top choice. I think that everyone has their own personal taste buds and preference. With that said, they do have a sign that says if your drink isn't perfect they would love to remake it for you. The owner and the girls working there are so nice. You can see them working so hard on everyone's orders. They recently opened I don't even think it's been 2 weeks and every time I've gone they have been busy with customers. It does take time to make the drinks and food so just sit back and relax. They have coffee shop music playing. You could read a book or play a game. If you are in a hurry, it might not be the best time to stop by if they are busy. Keep in mind this is a small local business and not Starbucks. Personally I am not a fan of Starbucks drinks or food but only go there when I have no time because I can order ahead on the app for pick up when I'm in a hurry. However, those are desperate times and a lot of times I'd rather go without coffee. Then go to a local coffee shop when I do have time so that I can enjoy it. read more

The matcha was still too sweet for my liking even after asking for half sweeter (I tend to like things on the less sweet side) the coffee was perfect though. I ordered the Marble Viet with oatmilk and half sweet, I want to say the nice girl who took my order was Phoebe, I could be wrong. She confirmed the Vietnamese Iced Coffee was premade (which is a pretty much an industry practice so that's all good) but they could add oatmilk to tone down the sweetness, I said great. I also ordered the corn latte for my mom the same way. My mom's coffee was delicious and nice. Now coffee...... it was t****ble. It tasted h****ble, no balance in flavors and chemically. It tastes like they used oatly, an oatmilk I really don't like the taste of. It was undrinkable, it didn't have that taste of Vietnamese iced coffee.
