Distracted from the welcoming customer service I had experience with all the staff, especially Gilbert, catering to my questions, knowing that he stepped out of his way from what he was doing to answer my questions. Stopped by the new Better Buzz Coffee in Stanton and was excited to check it out. First impressions were great. the space is bright, clean, modern, and has a really welcoming atmosphere. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design, and it feels like a place you could either grab something quickly or hang out for a while. The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in. Even with the excitement of a brand-new location, everyone was patient, welcoming, and kept things moving efficiently. It's always nice to see a new business open with employees who genuinely seem happy to be there. The drinks were made well and came out quickly. We got the banana matchas! Everything tasted fresh, and you can definitely tell why Better Buzz has built such a strong following. They have a menu that's different enough from the typical coffee chains that it's worth exploring beyond your usual order. One thing I also appreciated was how clean everything was. The dining area, condiment station, and overall store looked well maintained despite what I'm sure has been a busy opening period. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to continue refining the flow during the busy rushes as more people discover the location. That's pretty normal for any new business, though, and I'm confident it'll only get smoother with time. Overall, I'm really happy to have a Better Buzz closer to home. I finally had a chance to try Better Buzz today and I am a fan! I went through the drive thru close to 10 AM on a Saturday, and even though there were about 4-5 cars in front of me, I made it through fairly quickly. While I was waiting, I did download the app so that I could earn points, which I recommend doing beforehand if you can. I ordered a regular sized Horchata Latte ($6.59) and a Chili Jam Sausage Croissant sandwich ($9.99.). The barista asked if I wanted to add cinnamon cold cream to my drink and I said yes ( this is a $1 up charge.) Total came out to $18.45, which seemed on par with other popular coffee chains. The cashier was friendly and it was easy to have her scan the QR code in my app to earn points. The Horchata Latte tasted exactly as I had hoped- sweet, creamy, and smooth. The espresso was not overpowering and blended very well with the horchata flavor. The Chili Jam Sausage croissant was excellent! It was toasted perfectly and had the right amount of egg, arugula, cheese and sausage. I do wish there was a bit more of the jam though since it was so good! Overall, I had a very good experience. When I got home, I received a notification that I had earned a free regular drink on my next trip since I signed up in the app. It was a nice surprise and welcome reward! I don't normally leave negative reviews, but I wanted to bring something to management's attention. I went through the drive-thru and paid by tapping my card. The employee didn't offer me a receipt, and after I tapped my card, she pulled the payment terminal back very quickly. Something about the interaction felt off, so about 20 minutes later I checked my credit card transactions. Sure enough, I saw that a 20% tip had been added to my order. I did not intend to leave a tip and don't recall being given the opportunity to approve one. Had the payment terminal remained in front of me or had I been offered a receipt, I likely would have caught it immediately. I'm not accusing anyone of intentional wrongdoing, but this experience was concerning enough that I felt it was important to share. I hope management reviews the payment process to ensure customers clearly see and approve any gratuity before a transaction is completed. Transparency is important, and I'd appreciate this being looked into so it doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

3.5 Stars. I just happened be driving down Beach Blvd when I saw this place, and I decided to stop by to try it. Apparently it's a new coffee shop that just opened. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with almond milk, which was pretty good. Interior is spacious with ample seating and some loud (could be turned down a couple notches), upbeat music playing. I've only visited this BB location twice since it opened, and service is incredibly mixed. My first visit -- I ordered inside and the process was effortless. The employee who was helping me was very sweet and patient with me. He made a mistake in my order, but quickly corrected it. I got what I ordered in less than 10 minutes. My second visit -- I ordered using their app. I placed the order at 7:15 with a pickup 8:00 time. I arrived a little before 7:55, and I saw that there was nothing in the pickup area. 8:10 rolls around, nothing. It took a while for me to tag a person to find out what's going on. For whatever reason, they placed all the online orders behind the counter. Not sure how that helps anyone. But logistically, it seemed like a chaotic mess for anyone picking up online orders. I'll probably avoid ordering with the app for now until they figure this out. read more

New location that recently opened up. The plaza was a little hard to find parking as this place just opened, but it would probably die down later. The interior was nice. Definitely somewhere you can study. Service was great. I got the banana matcha. Was pretty disappointed. There wasn't much banana, or a strong taste of matcha. It kinda just tasted like syrupy, fake sugar with three small slices of banana matcha on top. It wasn't good. My friend got one of the coffee and said it was just average as well. I love Better Buzz coffee ever since I tried them down in San Diego, so today I decided to check out the fairly new Stanton location on my trip down to Orange County. I will have to say this is probably the largest location I have seen yet. Gilbert at the register was very welcoming and helpful but even more impressive was how fast I got my drink, not even 30 seconds after I did finished paying my drink was ready and I get an iced vanilla caramel latte so that's not the most simple drink to make. I was excited to try this new coffee place out I ordered a chocolate smoothie a Snickerdoodle latte, 2 cookies and 2 ham and cheese croissants around $40 for all 4 they forgot one of our croissants, they put the croissants in these elaborate plastic containers adding extra plastic to the landfill, not cool. The snickerdoodle latte tasted nothing like snickerdoodle and was too sweet. Not sure if I'll be back honestly. As soon as I placed the order, the employee started huffing and puffing and dropping F-bombs as if we couldn't hear him through the speaker. It was incredibly disrespectful and made us feel like we were inconveniencing him just by ordering. When we pulled up to the window, he continued to be utterly rude. I didn't catch his name, but he was a white and had tattoos. This place is brand new, so I expected much better customer service. You would think a new business would go above and beyond to make a good first impression, but that definitely wasn't the case. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the service. So happy that Better Buzz has come to my neighborhood! I've been a frequent customer at the Anaheim location when work takes me over there. I love that you can modify the sweetness level of the drinks, I love that I can add an egg to my sandwich, I love that the food is made fresh, and I love the friendly atmosphere. I am a fan of better buzz and have been for over a year now but this location seems to have some challenges causing the wait to be longer than I've waited for a mobile order. Knowing this, I place an order right when I leave my house (20 mins before I get here) and today it took another 5 for a total of 26 Mins. I've never ever waited that long. When I walked in, there seem to be 2 other not so happy customers waiting for their mobile orders. I was so happy when this location was going to open bc that meant I could go daily before work but with the wait being longer than any other location, I might have to reconsider. We were greeted by a gal with blue hair (no name tag), who asked what we wanted and then immediately walked away before we could answer to continue talking with coworkers. If you're working the register, don't greet us and ask what we want then ignore us, customers should have your attention while placing their order.
